PDF Editor FAQ

Should I get an Audi R8 or a Tesla?

I have both a 2012 Audi R8 V8 and a 2014 Tesla P85+.I use the Tesla as a daily driver for work but since I am more into performance cars I rather drive my R8 whenever the weekend comes. The R8 definitely handles better and is a lot faster than the Tesla at speeds upwards of 80MPH. If you are driving under 80 they are both pretty much the same acceleration wise although the Tesla feels like it pulls much stronger off the line than my manual R8.If you can only afford one one of these cars and need it as a daily driver then get the Tesla as it is more practical for everyday use.

Which Tesla has free supercharging for life?

Mine does! I have an early Model S P85 which has LIFETIME FREE supercharging. Depending on the year of manufacture, many S’s and X’s came with this benefit. Is it valuable to me? Yes & No….nice to have but I really don’t use it that often. Once a month, I may go to a place that has super chargers nearby. Otherwise, I charge at home where it’s as simple as plugging in my iPhone. When/IF I decide to sell my Tesla it may be a benefit to the next purchaser. Truly, I’m very happy with my Model S and have no plans to sell it…EVER!!!

Tesla owners. I had read on a different forum that the regenerative braking wore out the tires in about 15,000 miles. What is your experience?

That claim doesn't make any sense. I would recommend doubting anything else that person writes.First, Tesla vehicles can be tough on tires. However, driving a Tesla with 91,000 miles and driving it spiritedly when I can, tires are lasting more like 35,000–40,000 miles. I have the 19″ wheels though. Tires on the 21″ wheels might have a different life.Second, it isn't the regenerative braking that is hard on the tires, it's the acceleration. My Tesla Model S P85 has a maximum regenerative braking power of 60 kW. It has a maximum acceleration of 320 kW. Even moderate acceleration is more than 60 kW. The acceleration is putting much more stress on the tires than the regenerative braking.

Comments from Our Customers

It's very easy to use. It allows you to upload a document; indicate where signatures, addresses, or other information is required; and sends the document out with instructions to the people you indicate. It keeps you informed of the document's status, and allows you to print out or download the complete, signed version of the document. Best yet, it is as legally binding as a physical, in-person signature.
