How would Indian Army react to the recent terrorist attack on CRPF in Pulwama, Kashmir ?

This answer may contain sensitive images. Click on an image to unblur it.Right now, the Indian Forces should just do nothing.Let me explain. This is CRPF.A day after the Pulwama attack on a CRPF Convoy, the Pakistani Embassy in New Delhi faced a few black band wearing, placard carrying and slogan chanting protestors. When the protestors tried entering the embassy compound, they were stopped ably by a few uniformed men - all of them belonging to the Central Reserve Police Force or simply CRPF[1][1][1][1].What happened?14th February 2019 - around 3:30 PM.An attacker rammed his Maruti Suzuki Eeco van, on a bus carrying 44 CRPF Jawans near Lethipora, Pulwama, triggering an IED explosion[2][2][2][2] .The bus was part of a larger convoy consisting of 78 vehicles, carrying CRPF Jawans returning to duty, traveling on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway towards Srinagar.More than 40 CRPF Jawans were martyred. Many more were injured[3][3][3][3] .Soon after the attack, Muhammad Hassan[4][4][4][4] , the official spokesperson of Jaish-e-Mohammad[5][5][5][5] contacted the Kashmir News Agency to claim responsibility for the attack. He also shared the image and video of the terrorist involved. The perpetrator, was a Kashmiri by the name Adil Ahmad Dar alias Waqas Commando of Gundibagh, Kakpora[6][6][6][6] .Note 1: Terrorist Adil Ahmad Dar clearly states his affiliation to Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad in the video released by JeM spokesman. His video and pictures have JeM flag as background.Note 2: This is the third deadliest peacetime attack on security forces in India. And the second car bombing incident in the last 20 years[7][7][7][7] . When terrorists martyred 19 sleeping Jawans at the army brigade headquarters in Uri - India retaliated with a Surgical Strike within 11 days. This time, the death toll is more than double. The ReactionsSince the news broke up, the reactions coming from Pakistan can be broken down into three broad categories:Oh, a “False Flag” Operation again. Modi needs to win the elections and this only helps his case.Adil Dar Shaheed avenged the everyday oppression of the Kashmiris by sacrificing his life. This Blast took place in Kashmir - India claims the person involved was a Kashmiri - Pakistan gains nothing out of it - what does Pakistan have to do with this? The reactions in India can be broken down into the following 3 broad categories:Close the Pakistani Embassy, Stop giving VISAS, Sever all cultural and social ties with the Pakistanis, Pull out of the Indus Water Treaty, Put the “Barkha, Coupta, Aman ki Asha” gang behind bars.Surgical Strike, Invasion of POK, Freedom for Balochistan, Break Pakistan to teach them a lesson.Oh look at this Kashmiri student celebrating the death of our troops.Who’s the real perpetrator?:We’ve all heard of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Maulana Masood Azhar. Jaish is a Deobandi Terror Outfit[8][8][8][8] , based out of Bahawalpur in Southern Punjab. They have as much to do with Kashmir as I have to do with PSL[9][9][9][9] in Pakistan. The real perpetrators behind this attack and every attack preceding this one are the same old bunch of men in uniform, who run marriage halls[10][10][10][10] in Islamabad and silly paid trends on Pakistani Twitter. They also run the country as a praetorian state[11][11][11][11].India is their rationale and apologia.Perpetual Zero Accountability is their Super Power. This sad bunch of real estate thugs and corner plot grabbers in Uniform, have never given two hoots for the life, property and respect of a common Pakistani. They currently are busy waging a ‘5th Generation’ War[12][12][12][12] on their own citizens, turning the whole country into a virtual jail[13][13][13][13] where dissent and demanding of human rights is treason[14][14][14][14] [15][15][15][15] [16][16][16][16] [17][17][17][17] .Despite losing half the nation in 1971, losing all the wars that they started themselves, and getting caught with their pants down with Osama Bin Laden and Taliban Chief Mullah Omer - they’ve never faced any consequences and would be sitting cosy in an office in Abpara right now, reading your tweets of protest and perhaps this answer, as they blow smoke rings with a smile of satisfaction all over their face - knowing well that they would not face any consequences again. They do not get affected! If you close down the embassy and restrict VISA - they do not get affected. If you take away the MFN status from Pakistan - they do not get affected. If you kill a few Pak soldiers in retaliation - they do not get affected. If you stop the water of river Indus - they do not get affected. If you beat up a few Kashmiris - they do not get affected.Even if you wage a limited war on Pakistan, guess what - they do not get affected.Rowdy Baby, Call Me Maybe.Any military action or act of belligerence will only end up strengthening the hand of the Pakistani Establishment, providing it with the oxygen of legitimacy it so much desires. You want to hurt them, you’d have to take a slightly different route. Remember the Cold War, and how it was ultimately won? Here are a few suggestions:Complete the investigation on the Pulwama Attack - share it with international institutions and media.India as a sovereign nation should formally declare Pakistan a Terrorist State. Impose an international sanction in stages on all arms suppliers to Pakistan. Let them chose between a few million dollars from a State Sponsor of Terror and a welcome sign to the largest free market of the world.Strengthen BIMSTEC as an alternative to SAARC - Work towards opening the Indian Markets and removing business restrictions for entrepreneurs of all our neighboring countries except Pakistan.Name 42 new annual scholarships in the name of the 42 Martyrs of Pulwama - especially meant for the under-privileged girl students of Kashmir.Remove Visa Restrictions for the Pakistanis - provide work and medical visas to Pakistanis online and offer on arrival visas for intellectuals, artists, sports-persons and citizens above the age of 55 or below the age of 13. The idea is to make it easier for capable inmates to runaway from the jail.Immediately stop the use of bullets and pellets on the protestors in Kashmir - use non lethal alternatives like LRAD Sound Canons[18] for effective crowd control. Video record all demonstrations. Identify participants using violence, arrest and prosecute them as per law.Start a truth and reconciliation commission in Kashmir involving citizens and democratically elected people of Kashmir. Open up files on previous excesses and prosecute people if found guilty in a transparent manner. Open up and discuss freely about the excesses done by the militants and the extremists as well.Provide a road map for the removal of AFSPA[19] and Article 370 and 35 A from Kashmir. Provide security and safety to everyone who talks peace in Kashmir. And lastly, just focus on India’s own development and economy.Pakistan is an artificial country which has stopped working for its own citizens. It derives its relevance from India. If India decides to ignore it and isolate it further, the economy will eventually do what no armies can.Every single day that India remains united is a question mark on the very existence of the security state that Pakistan is today. Want a demo - Here’s a scene of Bhendi Bazar from my beloved Mumbai[20][20][20][20] :We should have no doubt that our men in uniform are capable enough to extract their pound of flesh, at the time and place of their choosing. Let us leave them to their job. No pressure. As far as we are concerned, this time, let’s enable the people of Pakistan to avenge Pulwama for us in the long term. A developed, prosperous and free India is the best answer to all the provocations against us.Finally, as they say in Islamabad: Na rahega Bans, Na bajegi Bansuri.Substandard translation: Let the economy and democracy do to Pakistani Generals, that armies cannot.Hope this helps. Thanks for reading. Cheers and peace.Footnotes[1] After Pulwama attack, CRPF jawans stand guard outside Pakistan Embassy[1] After Pulwama attack, CRPF jawans stand guard outside Pakistan Embassy[1] After Pulwama attack, CRPF jawans stand guard outside Pakistan Embassy[1] After Pulwama attack, CRPF jawans stand guard outside Pakistan Embassy[2] What happened at Pulwama and history of terror attacks on convoys[2] What happened at Pulwama and history of terror attacks on convoys[2] What happened at Pulwama and history of terror attacks on convoys[2] What happened at Pulwama and history of terror attacks on convoys[3] Pulwama Attack 2019, everything about J&K terror attack on CRPF by terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar, Jaish-e-Mohammad[3] Pulwama Attack 2019, everything about J&K terror attack on CRPF by terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar, Jaish-e-Mohammad[3] Pulwama Attack 2019, everything about J&K terror attack on CRPF by terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar, Jaish-e-Mohammad[3] Pulwama Attack 2019, everything about J&K terror attack on CRPF by terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar, Jaish-e-Mohammad[4] What is Jaish-e-Mohammad?[4] What is Jaish-e-Mohammad?[4] What is Jaish-e-Mohammad?[4] What is Jaish-e-Mohammad?[5] https://tribune.com.pk/jaish-e-mohammad/[5] https://tribune.com.pk/jaish-e-mohammad/[5] https://tribune.com.pk/jaish-e-mohammad/[5] https://tribune.com.pk/jaish-e-mohammad/[6] Adil Ahmad Dar: murder machine from moderate school[6] Adil Ahmad Dar: murder machine from moderate school[6] Adil Ahmad Dar: murder machine from moderate school[6] Adil Ahmad Dar: murder machine from moderate school[7] Kashmir suicide bomb kills at least 31[7] Kashmir suicide bomb kills at least 31[7] Kashmir suicide bomb kills at least 31[7] Kashmir suicide bomb kills at least 31[8] Here are Pakistan’s new strategies behind the Pulwama terror attack[8] Here are Pakistan’s new strategies behind the Pulwama terror attack[8] Here are Pakistan’s new strategies behind the Pulwama terror attack[8] Here are Pakistan’s new strategies behind the Pulwama terror attack[9] Why has PSL 3 failed to pull in big crowds?[9] Why has PSL 3 failed to pull in big crowds?[9] Why has PSL 3 failed to pull in big crowds?[9] Why has PSL 3 failed to pull in big crowds?[10] Five strange things all Pakistani fauji’s do[10] Five strange things all Pakistani fauji’s do[10] Five strange things all Pakistani fauji’s do[10] Five strange things all Pakistani fauji’s do[11] The supreme praetorian state of Pakistan - Daily Times[11] The supreme praetorian state of Pakistan - Daily Times[11] The supreme praetorian state of Pakistan - Daily Times[11] The supreme praetorian state of Pakistan - Daily Times[12] 5th-Generation War and Its Warriors[12] 5th-Generation War and Its Warriors[12] 5th-Generation War and Its Warriors[12] 5th-Generation War and Its Warriors[13] https://tbinternet.ohchr.org/Treaties/CCPR/Shared%20Documents/PAK/INT_CCPR_CSS_PAK_27601_E.pdf[13] https://tbinternet.ohchr.org/Treaties/CCPR/Shared%20Documents/PAK/INT_CCPR_CSS_PAK_27601_E.pdf[13] https://tbinternet.ohchr.org/Treaties/CCPR/Shared%20Documents/PAK/INT_CCPR_CSS_PAK_27601_E.pdf[13] https://tbinternet.ohchr.org/Treaties/CCPR/Shared%20Documents/PAK/INT_CCPR_CSS_PAK_27601_E.pdf[14] 'Are you with the tyrants?'
