Business Apology Letter: Fill & Download for Free

I was 21 and at a multinational IT consulting firm. Target was one of our clients, and at that time, used the IBM dumb terminals for communication. The 'Message Send' command was used similar to IM now-a-days, but if you do not provide an id, it sent the message to ALL users (which few people knew about)One Friday I sent, what I thought was a joke - 'To commemorate Blaise Pascal's birthday, all your computers will be run at half-speed today'. I thought it sent the message to all IT folks, but what I did not realize was that the message was sent to ALL users - retail stores, Target business users, management teams etc. And that Friday turned out to be the 13th. So Target security thought it was a virus attack, and traced the origin of the message to, naturally, my cubicle. I was called into work by my CTO at 2 AM, and I, with a pale face, explained how it was supposed to be a harmless prank. Then the CTO and with the CEO on the phone crafted an apology letter to the Target CEO/CIO with me right there. I was pretty sure I was fired, but I wasn't.On the plus side I became famous and made lot of new friends in the company :). And Target implemented a change to the IBM send message to prevent this.

So here goes the story…It was the second year of our engineering. We had a lecture and the lecturer was yet to come for some reason. All of us were having a gala time chatting, shouting and playing. Free time and students quiet, IMPOSSIBLE!So while we were busy with our shouting and talking, our lecturer came to the class. Everyone went silent and the whole class was standing to wish the lecturer. One particular guy however was bit late to notice the lecturer in class. His voice was clearly heard by everyone including the lecturer. She was furious as expected. Now, she was sure it wasn’t a girl shouting, so she made all the girls sit. She then asked the particular guy who shouted to come out and admit his mistake. She also made all guys, while standing, to confess the name of the culprit.That was the time we all saw an example of BRO-CODE!Not a single guy took the name of the person whose voice was heard last, even though everyone knew who that guy was. The angry lecturer then gave a warning that she’ll not teach if that particular boy is not pointed out. No one spoke. Ultimately, the lecturer left the class angrily and said she won’t teach.All guys went to apologize to the lecturer but she was furious and wasn’t ready to listen to any of the guys. After lot of efforts, she finally agreed to an apology letter from that guy. Each and every guy signed that letter and apologized to that lecturer. After scolding all guys, the lecturer finally accepted the apology and came back to teach the next day.Whosoever says Bro-code doesn’t exist, haven’t spent time with guys or is yet to witness their awesomeness!!!Cheers to all guys!

I involved the police.I was walking home from school with my sister. Two girls approached us and told us to “go back to our country.” I brushed it aside and walked along the sidewalk minding my own business. Bad move. She threw juice onto us, followed by saliva I remained silent.Walking into school the next day extremely upset led me to cry on my friend’s shoulder. I spoke to my teacher about the incident, to which he reported to the police.I gave my statement and the police questioned the bullies. During the meeting where I faced the bullies, we could see how distraught they were. I taught them a lesson. They wrote an apology letter, were on litter duty for our city for a while, and were eventually expelled for bullying other students.If you are getting bullied, please let someone know. I know it's scary, but telling someone can help you gain the justice you deserve. It doesn't have to be in a teaching environment. If you are getting bullied at work, tell somebody! Something will be done. Do not suffer in silence. Do not suffer alone. Don't let the bullies win.
