Transmission live line works is a very different training and certification procedure. Equipment, procedure and risk assessment mentioned here are for distribution live works only. (Oh dear, no helicopter rides.)Risk AssessmentOn the risk assessment form at 32kV, more items will be “red” (high Risk) than “orange” (medium risk) than on a 11kV form. This is mainly due to arcing distances. (Voltages more typical of our distribution system.) The breaker trip current is noted on this form as well as total power available. For this question -10 000V x 1 000A = 10 000 000VA or 10MVA30 000V x 300A = 90 000 000VA or 9MVAboth definitely RED.ProcedureStand-off equipment and ancillary personnel will be at a greater distance from the work at 32kV. This is the only real difference in procedure. Again, this is due to arcing distance.EquipmentHere there is a great difference between 32kV and 11kV. Gloves, flash suites, arc flash blankets and tools are rated for voltage. Take just the gloves:Class 00 - 500 Volts (max)Class 0 – 1 000 Volts (max)Class 1 – 7 500 Volts (max)Class 2 - 17 000 Volts (max)Class 3 - 26 500 Volts (max)Class 4 - 36 000 Volts (max)Personally, I would also wear arc flash undergarments as well as my flash suit when working on 32kV. Both Class 4. I believe that the Multi-Axial diagnostic system provided a more in-depth understanding of a persons functioning.The Multi-Axial diagnostic system was designed to assist the mental health clinician to make a more detailed assessment of the patients function and life in general. For example, instead of making a Major Depressive or Personality disorder diagnosis, the clinician was able to make five Types of Axes By Disorder.The following information briefly outlines the five types of Axes:Axis 1: Major Depressive Disorder (acute clinical disorders);Axis 2: Personality Disorder/Intellectual Disability;Axis 3: Medical/Physical Conditions;Axis 4: Environmental/ Psychosocial Factors;Axis 5: Global Assessment of Functioning.I believe that it is important for experienced psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and other mental health clinicians to work with people that may have a personality disorder.
