IF I take off my glasses while writing this answer, my screen becomes a giant white blob, of which I would need to move at least 6” away from my face in order to read properly. (Pardon me for being American and using our wacky measuring system, those not in the US)I need spectacles (glasses) or contacts in order to use my eyes. This is not fair!There are hundreds, of not thousands, if not millions of people that are able to see perfectly for free.I am forced to pay to use my eyes.That’s right, I pay very large sums in order to be able to use my eyes properly!This is injustice # 1.ME, in glasses (and no makeup!)None of the methods of helping my vision helps me when I first wake up in the morning.Fall asleep with contacts in?Your eyes will fall out.Fall asleep with glasses on?Your glasses are sufficiently BROKEN.There is always that split second when waking up when I think “WTF. WHY CANT I SEE??”Because your vision is terrible. That’s why.Injustice # 2.I wear them, but not because I like them!The worst thing is when people say “Why don’t you just get LASIK Surgery?”Hmmmmm…maybe because I don’t want a LASER in my EYES!“But LASIK surgery has gotten so much better”Do they still use a LASER to fix EYES? Then NO SALE.ALSO, it’s ridiculouly expensive.Injustice # 3.Unlike other illnesses, my vision will never impove. It will only get worse.
