For example, Shutterstock, pond5, iStock (Getty), and more will allow you to post the same photos on many servicesif sales are particularly good on one service and they offer an exclusivity bonus, consider becoming exclusive (I am not)video pays a lot better than photos so try to take both and most stock places take photos and videothat which makes a good stock photo doesn’t necessarily make a good stock video (and vice versa)check submission requirements and be sure you comply or you will be doing a lot of re-uploadsvideos are BIG, consider fast internet so you get a better upload speeddon’t forget to copyright (up to 750 images for $80) - you have no legal case at all without a proper copyright (if it has to go to court)most stock agencies provide some type of “now trending” email newsletter which reflects stock searches, internal and external trends, colors, scenarios, etc. while it doesn’t guarantee sales, it can put you in front of more people which means better potential sales and getting practice at producing for trends - bo matter what, it’s worth joining the mailing list whether you sell on the services or not - iStock/Getty and Shutterstock have great trends with creative briefs you can download
