Due to conflicts of interest, Male Gynaecologists, Doctors and their supporters will mostly not say the TRUTH.Despite that, There are some answers from the Doctors themselves (see collapsed answers) :- "Yes, Why not?", "Yes. But, Not very often", "What goes in the mind, no one knows", "Yes, It is natural".Apart from these answers, Most others are saintly as expected.And Their claims are hard to prove (or) disprove, If one has to rest their decision on their answers.Suppose We collect the browsing data of Medical college/hostel. If We can find evidences that they too love to watch nude female form, breasts and genitals, Then, They will again say Compartmentalisation- Clinical setting is different.If We get some of them in to the lab and experiment with standard equipments to measure penile blood flow, to check whether they show arousal on visual sexual stimuli, They will again say Compartmentalisation.We can give occasional sexual violations as proof that there is sexual aspects to some clinical examinations. As far as I know, Not many patients say that There is nothing clinical about it. Patients acknowledge that It has to be done for the clinical purposes. But, The morons are the others who say , “There is nothing sexual about it”.One of My Friend is a photographer. He mostly takes video shoot for wedding functions. When He describes his Job, He uses to add, “In this Job, You can openly stare at beautiful ladies. You can even tell them to smile and even tell them to take certain poses. I also love to take part in the beautiful occasions of the other people!”.Now This does not mean He is exclusively in to staring at the beautiful ladies. He is skilled at his Job - Photography. Beautiful ladies are side rewards that He considers worth mentioning when talking about his profession! Another one's disgusting behaviour while he is massaging the uterus of a lady postpartum, to reduce bleeding.In another obscure news, I found that a doctor was condemned for his remarks during a presentation, with the audience mostly of women -doctors and patients. He was presenting about Breast cancer, It seems. A slide of the breast image in medical context, was shown. He commented, "This is pretty. But, You won't get this kind of breasts often. You will get mostly old saggy ones." He just spoke his mind voice. I lost track of the original paper. But, Will share the link as soon as I find.What does professionalism mean? It is what you say, despite that naughty mindvoice. But, The point is "mind voice is there".It is easy to neglect these as deviants. But The point is to note that the doctors are sexual being, for that matter emotional beings in general, like you and me. To understand that, one can go through the legal proceeding of the famous cases in the law sites.-Why did you pinch the cheeks of that teenage girl? Just a friendly touch as she was so afraid. She was like My daughter.-Why did you remove her tops by yourself? When abdominal examination does not show any significant abnormality, We tend to move on to check the chest area. And She was just helped by the Doctor to remove the tops.-Why did you pinch her breasts? The Palpation was mistaken by the girl as pinch.-Why did you touch her genital areas, sliding the hand under the pants? The supra pubic palpation was mistaken by the patient.-Why did you address the patient as Baby, pinched her cheeks , made the relative to wait outside and proceeded without the nurse? That was the communication problem. Nurse was about to come. Doctor just proceeded casually.So, Finally It is the misunderstanding without proper communication, made the patient to perceive the clinical proceeding as sexual advance. Also Doctor can be given some more medical ethics training to train him in proper communication skills and to be careful with boundary maintenance.Moreover slight remarks/comments during the examinations won’t make the news. Because Many patients don’t have the awareness and also fear that they won’t be believed if she/he complaints.
