Today,I was filling an online application form where my left hand thumb impression was necessary to complete documentation process.The process was simple,Scan picture of your left hand thumb impression and upload it in prerequisite pixel and size.Papa: If you are done with your application form then assist me in our medical shop.Me: I am almost done. Now, I need a stamp pad for my left hand thumb impression.My 5 years old niece was silently listening my conversation with big boss.Niece: Subhash Mama! Stamp pad? Left hand thumb impression? What are these things?Me: These things are necessary to fill an application form. They ask you for finger print for your identity authentication.Kiddo! Do you know? I was on fire)(If you are clueless like my niece then this is a picture of a Stamp-Pad)Niece: You can do this left hand impression thing without any stamp pad.Me: How?Then She took a blue ball pen, and started scribbling on my left hand thumb.When her amateur painting on my thumb was completed, she took my left hand thumb impression in a blink on a white paper.(Painting by a blue pen on thumb worked as ink of stamp-pad)The result is,(Visibility is not good but she did what she said)My whole family was admiring her for her presence of mind and smartness.Papa: Fun fact is, you are an Engineer.Do I need to explain about my facial expression?

Freaking busy.As I type this, I'm on my break from my volunteering job at a National trust siteI've got to leave here early at 3PM to get to the racetrack and watch the horses with my parents. After that we’re going to a fireworks display, and tomorrow I have five hours of archery. Then I'm back in class for Monday, where I also have to get started on an application form for a job that pays me.Its work work work, but I love it.

Stream : Engineering (Final Year)Branch : Electronics and CommunicationCompany : L&T Technology ServicesAround 250 students had registered for this company.Round 1 : AptitudeQuestions were focused on Quantitative and Technical aspects of the subject.Around 200 Eliminated (53 left).Result : Selected !Round 2 : Group discussion15 students were grouped together and the topic for discussion was based on the recent trends in technology.11 Eliminated (42 left).Result : Selected !The students who qualified were given an application form to fill.I realized that I had forgotten to carry a passport size photograph.When enquired, the panel told me that it was necessary to have one, so i had to visit a nearby studio to get one done. This ate away my precious time during which I should have filled my application form.Round 3 : Technical interviewThankfully it all went well with me and the interviewer did not ask for my application form which was half filled.12 eliminated (30 left).Result : Selected !Round 4 : HR Interview*My confidence levels were all high as it was a cake walk for me*Interviewer : Please give your application form and documents.Me: Sirrr, my form isn’t filled completely.Interviewer : You can please fill your form and leave.6 eliminated (24 selected).Result : Rejected ! :(At the end of the day a small piece of paper can decide your career.All little things in life must not be taken for granted !
