PDF Editor FAQ

I worked in two different states this year (and two different companies), will I have to fill out state income tax forms for both?

A2A BUT We need more information to give you an accurate answer. There are 50 different states and 43 of them have some form of individual income tax laws, so that is 1,849 different possibilities of how to answer this question. That is before we even factor in that you did not tell us how long you lived in either state, which could be a day or 364 days.I can give you the probably answer which is yes you will most likely need to file with two states this year. Take a look at your two W2’s and at the bottom you will see what state(s) your earnings were reported to. If the W2’s have different states then absolutely you should file a return with both states, because what is on the W2 will be presumed to be accurate, even if your presence in the state did not actually rise to the level of needing to file. The biggest question will become if you are filing as a resident, non-resident or part-year resident. Your filing status can make a difference in how much tax you owe and unfortunately it is not as simple as just thinking you lived in a place for only part of the year so you were automatically a part-year resident. This is one of those situations where I would advise you that your taxes this year are complex enough that you really need to go to a professional to have your taxes done. That person should be able to review the specifics of your situation and advise you how to file.

Do you grow flowers, fruit and vegetables or herbs in your garden?

Farming is my passion. Wherever I was posted on my job, I had tried to convert available empty spaces, at my disposal, into vegetable gardens.Latest one is a kitchen garden carved out of 20 cents of land lying vacant behind my official residence in Bidar. Now, it serves about 15 police families with 54 varieties of vegetables round the year.Situation:Bidar is coolest and wettest part of North Karnataka, The soil here is basically red clayey laterite with pH value 6.5 which is slightly acidic. The normal temperature range from 12° to 36°C. During the May it goes up to 43°C. .Site: The layout was so planned to make optimal utilization of available 20 cents space. Was the 2011 Hungarian census faked? Percentages of minorities is growing in rural, central and underdeveloped regions of Hungary with absolutely no incentive for anyone to move in. Why are Germans or Romanians moving to villages of a couple hundred?

Hmm, I didn’t first yet quite understand the question. There seems to be two layers of it.1. Growing minoritiesIndigenous minorities in Hungary are folks who traditionally lived in the country at least 100 years before the creation of the minority act (2014). Greater Hungary in 1914 had the following 13 national minorities: Hungarian, German (Saxon, Swabian, Austrian, etc), Romanian, Croatian, Slovakian, Rusyn (Ruthenian), Gypsy (Rhomani, Boyash, etc.) Slovenian (Vend), Serbian (Shokats, Bunjevats), Ukrainian, Greek, Polish, Armenian. Order is more or less confirm with the size of the minority. Budapest 1886 A 2011 . Many who were living in mixed marriage for example answered Hungarian in both cases, however their mother tongue could have been other. At the census of 1991 and 2001, only one identity could have been indicated, language was another question. What causes the massive growth in 2011 is that, after a two decades internal discussion in the society, double identity was recognised as standard. It was recognised that most people having a minority identity might not be in the position to use the language of their folks, and might also have a dual identity of being a minority AND Hungarian, and those who filled in earlier census were often afraid to indicate their minority identity, and indicated Hungarian rather. This was addressed in the 2011 census and people could chose for two. Therefore the ratio of national minorities was grown from 3+% to 9+%.Also the customs of the society changed a lot after the repressions of the Kadar regime between 1957–1987; majority people started to value minorities - which was followed by government approach. The regulations were more and more in favour of the minorities. This led to the fact that today, my minority, the Rusyn, with all in all 3800 people today can form 43 autonomous local councils - that means one council per each 90 people on average, with state funds and extra local rights. Which, compared to the surrounding countries, where the norm is at least 20% of the settlement’s population may form any sort of community rights, way excesses them in rights given to indigenous minorities. Minority people are entitled for 1 parliamentary representatvice for each 50000 people, whilst 100000 Hungarians may send one Rep. However the law needs serious improvement, the principle is that minority votes value two times more than Hungarian votes. What is also undiscussed, so leaves a gap for non-indigenous people, that immigrants belonging to any of these minorities, when gaining residence in the country, may also enjoy extra rights. Many Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian and German, who moved to Hungary in the past 20 years, started more and more to participate in the local minority politics.AS there are more minority people among the elderly, their proportions will be higher in villages and remote places - the younger the people are the more likely will they move from villages to towns or cities.2. And now we turned back to the 2nd part: newcomers. As above said, younger people move out from rural areas thus they sell their property at often 40 times cheaper than the same property in Budapest suburban areas. One may buy houses in remote villages as cheap as 1–2 million forints (3000–6000€), and with the investment of a further 10000€ they can turn these houses into a decent residence. Living in Hungary from a German pension - I don’t have to explain - is an economic surplus. And Hungarians are (in spite of one may hear in international media) a welcoming folks in General (of course exceptions always apply), so locals turn to the newcomer foreigners with a helping attitude. This would not be the case in a town.
