I don’t understand why you didn’t look this up in a dictionary. Any dictionary will tell you that the word is ‘maintenance’.PS: One answer has suggested that the -ain ending mutates to -en in other forms of the word. He is correct in all his examples except that of ‘mountainous’, which he has wrongly spelt ‘mountenous’.
