Reviews visionary ideas of Turing, Minsky, and other influential thinkers. Examines the implications of work on brain scanning, developmental psychology, and cognitive psychology. Emphasis on discussion and analysis of original papers. Students taking graduate version complete additional assignments.But the prerequisite course for this class, is Artificial Intelligence, described:This course introduces students to the basic knowledge representation, problem solving, and learning methods of artificial intelligence.
