How do I counter the statement "whatever that requires other people's labour is not a basic human right"?

You don’t counter it, because it is a true statement.I strongly suggest you read the Two Treatises on Government, especially the Second Treatise, by John Locke, and also The Social Contract by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. They are the foundations thinkers of the Enlightenment on whose principles the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution are based, well as as the fundamental values of American justice and civil rights. You will learn that rights are the ability to do something without needing to ask permission, and that your rights end where they impinge in the rights of anyone else, and vice versa. Rights can never involve demanding the time, labor, or services of another person. To do so is to engage in slavery. The purpose of government, explained by Locke, is to protect human rights, and to do so government must be structured to be minimal and to not interfere in the rights of individuals. The purpose of the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution, for example, is not to confer rights, but to expressly forbid government from interfering in the natural rights of American citizens. The Constitution further sets out certain enumerated duties of government, but expressly forbids government from engaging in activities not specifically enumerated. The Social Contract discusses how individual rights work in a community where we interact closely with others. These are essential reading if you want to understand Human rights and government.https://www.yorku.ca/comninel/courses/3025pdf/Locke.pdfRousseau: Social Contract

Is software development really a dead-end job after age 35-40?

It is not true that software development is a dead-end job after 35-40. Here, though, are some things that are true:Ageism exists in the software industry (along with sexism, racism, xenophobia, brogrammer culture, and all of those other social goodies). Not everywhere, but it's out there in enough places to impact getting a job.At 35-40 you might expect higher compensation and better working conditions than someone with equally applicable skills who is 25-30.At 35-40 the most leading edge skills and tech you learned in school are now 10 - 20 years old; if you haven't kept up, you risk being obsolete. At many companies, there is no viable "technical ladder" for software developers: a title like "senior engineer" is the highest available to software developers, and after this pay grade maxes out software developers have to go into management roles -- whether they're suited to them or not -- in order to advance."Management" isn't just about managing people. At a company with a future someone has to manage technology -- the CTO, for example. Many CTOs still code, and few would call CTO a dead-end job. Some companies deliberately hire more mature software developers, especially for their remote sites, to be the "grown up on deck."Here are some things you can do, well after 35-40, to stay a software developer:Work for a large company that has a Technical Ladder or Dual Career LadderBecome a full-time contractorBecome a consultantStart your own companyTake an easy day job, and do contract software development work on the sideKeep your skills current, learn from your experience, have good people and communication skills, and be really good at your job

How did you become an entrepreneur?

Let me start by saying I am a doctor turned entrepreneur. I decided to take this bold step in December of 2019. I don't know why but I also wanted to be an entrepreneur. Maybe I got influenced by some movies like “Wolf of Wall Street”, “The social network” and even by an Indian web series “Pitchers” or maybe because I was always interested in solving real-life problems.I start working on my skills on 17th December of 2019 and got my first contract on 17th December 2020, exactly one after I started. So, I am qualified to call myself an entrepreneur.let me tell you how it started, I read a research paper that mentioned that “the biggest problem faced by healthcare in India is Patient education and lack of awareness”. I have seen patients reaching the hospital when it's too late as they were not informed of the graveness of the situation. I wanted to change that and I knew of one way Social Media. But how will I explain about health to a layperson, I asked myself? The answer was very clear “Animation”.So I started learning animation and graphic designing and I realized how hard it is. I feel animators are underrated and their work needs more appreciation. It a tedious job and you definitely gain weight as it requires prolonged sitting. Within a few months, I was about to quit and I went through a very low phase in my life. Working without any compensation is tough but working without appreciation is worse.I didn't quit because I loved animating as well as educating people about health and finally started my YouTube channel but animated videos require a long time to produce and it's not a one-person job. So, eventually, I stopped posting on my channel but I started contacting companies in healthcare who can buy videos for their social media channels. I am managing a few clients and their pages on social media and my company is beginning to stand. I have already made several sacrifices for this -I have gained around 10 kgs and I was the perfect example of a gym rat beforeI am mostly anxious about work.I get up and start working, eat while working and sleep. I literally sleep only 6 hours a day which might be a lot for some people but I had a habit of sleeping at least 9 hours a day.I have lost all my friends as I am always working and I don't get any time to socializeI can only talk about my work. I found my calling very late in life and I can't let this opportunity go to waste.Yes, I have lost a lot but I will make sure my startup works because I don't have a plan B
