1/ There is no indication that the aid passed by Congress had any conditions regarding linkage to the Ukraine to investigate corruption in that country, before POTUS asked that a favor be done. Aid was intended for the Ukrainians to use in defense of their country against Russia and Russian allies internally in the Ukraine. DoD routinely rubber stamps the corruption box check off when national security and/or timeliness is of concern in providing aid . The current U.S. interest in Ukranian corruption mysteriously arose after the Whistleblower ‘s complaint was made known to the Trump Administration. Guiliani and Trump have changed this story every other day.2/ Trump seems totally disinterested in corruption in any other country he has had hands on interest in like North Korea, Russia and Turkey.3/ Trump seems totally unaware of corruption in his own Cabinet and Administration. The most likely explanation for the FBI/DOJ “debate” regarding not charging some of the Capitol rioters is that there were an abundance of Federal agent provocateurs caught on video & the FBI/DOJ are desperately looking for a plausible explanation for not charging government agents.
