Meet Mr. John Grimek.He is the only man ever to win the AAU Mr. America title more than once, for a pretty simple and extraordinary reason:His wins in 1940 and 1941 were so overwhelming that contest organizers from then on implemented the single-victory rule.That’s basically a cute way of saying“You are way too good at this Johnny, give someone else a chance”Imagine being so dominant that they essentially ban you from competing?Back then, the prevailing belief is that weight training made you muscle bound, unathletic and inflexible.Grimek set out to prove them wrong and single-handedly changed that way of thinking.He was also strong- he represented the United States as a weightlifter at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin.He bench pressed 480lbs, deadlifted 600lbs+ and squatted 700lbs+, all in training.Even after he retired, he continued serious training for many years, and was still able to perform squats with over 400 pounds for repetitions in his late 60s.Here are his measurements:Height: 5′ 9″ (175 cm)Weight: 195 lbs (89 kg)Chest: 47″ (119 cm)Arms: 17,5″ (45 cm)Waist: 31″ (79 cm)Thighs: 25″ (64 cm)Calves: 17″ (43 cm)As the picture near the top shows, he has a 26.9 FFMI!Was he natural?Testosterone was first isolated in 1935 and approved for medical use in some places, in some situations in 1939.So…maybe, hypothetically, he could have been on testosterone. Snuck into a hospital and grabbed some to get his fix. But he got to the Olympics in 1936 without them, for sure.Dianabol wasn’t even approved for use until 1958, so I doubt he was on anything like that.For the uber skeptical, here’s someone that is inarguable:Eugene SandowHis 86kg, ~6% body fat and 1.75m of height spits out a 26.4FFMI……around the year 1900.Still think having bicep veins, chest striations, 3D shoulders and visible traps is a clear indicator of steroid use?Anything below 25 is possible to attain when natural, for sure.That doesn’t mean they are clean – lots of people who take steroids don’t even get to 22 or 23FFMI.Diet, training and sleep are still very important, as are genetics. You get a giant leg up, but still have to climb the mountain.25–26 is also clearly possible to attain naturally-but it takes many years of very hard training, and great genetics.26–27 is even harder. The vast majority of people nowadays in this range are on steroids, but not all of them.27–28 is where I become very doubtful. They would be one of the most naturally muscular human beings in history if clean. Or, they could have average genetics and be on gear. That’s how much it helps at the edges of the bell curve.28–29 and I would have to assume that they are on steroids, but statistically it’s plausible to do naturally. They would have to have some kind of genetic defect in the pituitary gland that releases growth hormone, or be myostatin deficient, or something else similar.29+ is when it’s all but certain gear is involved.Anyway, that’s John, on the left side of the picture, at almost 80 years old. Hahaha Completed Second Year Exam did u mean being promoted to 3rd Year without exams.Yeah you are eligible for AFCAT and CDS as well. As final year appearing students are eligible for AFCAT if you have maintained an aggregate of atleast 60% in the terms you have completed in your graduation. As of now if you have been promoted to final year and Exam is in September and you have to produce document while you go for AFSB/SSB. So by then your university will provide you your markasheet for 2nd year. So no problem anyhow start preparing.And you could be recommended, if u don’t tell him your nickname is pagal is pagal Princess.And you can further more verify your eligibility here:-(a) Nationality:-Candidate must be a citizen of India as per Indian citizenship act, 1955.(b) Age:-(i) Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2021 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive).(ii) Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2021 i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive).(iii) Marital Status: Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried at the time of commencement of course. Widows/ Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 25 years of age are also not eligible. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application though successful at SSB or medical will not be eligible for training. A candidate who marries during the period of training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live out with family.(iv) The date of birth accepted by the IAF is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University, the extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate. No other document related to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and likewise will be accepted.(v) Incase the Matriculation/ Higher Secondary Examination Certificate does not show the date of birth, or only shows the age by completed years or completed years and months. In such cases a candidate must possess a self-attested/ certified copy of a certificate from the Headmaster/ Principal of the Institution from where he/ she passed the Matriculation/ Higher Secondary Examination showing the date of his/ her birth or exact age as recorded in the Admission Register of the Institution.(vi) Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Higher Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of application will be accepted by the IAF and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.(vii) The candidates should exercise due care while entering their Date of Birth. In case the University does not have any scheme for converting CGPA to percentage conversion certificate, CGPA will be converted into 10 points scale and multiplied by 10 to get equivalent percentage.(ac) Candidates who are studying in the final year/ semester Degree course and are yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply provided candidate should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester/ year for which results have been declared up to the time of submission of application. They are required to submit proof of passing the Degree Examination by 15 Jun 21 and no request for extending this date will be entertained on the grounds of late conduct of basic qualifying University Examination, delay in declaration of results or any other ground whatsoever.(ad) Candidates who have failed the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) in an earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy will not be eligible to apply in Flying Branch.(d) Candidates who were admitted to an earlier course at the National Defence Academy, Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai and Officer’s Training Academy Gaya but were removed on grounds of indiscipline are ineligible to apply.(e) Candidates who are debarred by the Ministry of Defence from holding any type of commission in the Defence Services shall not be eligible for AFCAT and if admitted, their candidature will be cancelled.(f) Candidates who have been convicted on criminal charges and those who are still stuck in a criminal case are not eligible to apply.~Wish u a good luck~Information Source:- My Brain and Official notification of AFCAT released by IAF.
