PDF Editor FAQ

Have you ever caught on to someone trying to scam you before it was too late?

Yeah I have figured out one scam when I was looking for apartment in Toronto, Ontario. Every year there are so many new immigrants in Canada so I think this will help them out to find better accommodation rather than loosing $1200. Total Five sign will tell you that you are getting scammed in this area.Landlord is out side of Ontario due to some fake reason. They will approve your rental application without checking your credit history(Yes in your credit report you can check which companies are trying to get your credit report). They will give you fake promise that once I get money I will send you keys through mail.Price will be very less compare to Market price.Greedy offer like last month rent not required, fully furnished, emotional blackmailing.PS: I was just playing with the guy that how far he can go and he approved my application without any documents :D

I have a court judgement to collect rent against my tenants. I live in Ontario, Canada. How can I find out their new address so I can collect the money?

There are a few ways to get your money, but my answers reflect my experience in the U.S. so you may need to adapt these measures.sell the judgement to a collection agency,You get a smaller amount, but they’ll never get another rental, report the judgement to ALL credit bureaus in Canada, contact employers listed on the rental application, to “verify their current address.” Use a past address, employer will say, “no” & you can then ask what is the correct address?if you have driver’s license #s, run a credit check, contact the driver’s license bureau - their address will need to be updated.use an app like White Pages, Been Verified, etc. to locate them, contact other creditors, contact the postal system for a forwarding address, contact the references on the rental application, contact the bank the used to verify a “current address”belong to a landlord’s group? Contact them. The renters will be looking for a new place. Build a relationship with other landlords - it helps a lot.Check your bank statements. Search for their rent checks. The checks will give you their bank, account numbers, & maybe your lawyer can get a lien against their accountFor some of these, you may need to go back more than once as it might take a while for them to update driver’s license addresses.Good luck 🍀

Is it true that people in Ontario on ODSP don't have to pay back a payday loan? That's what the financial office at school told me. Were they referring to the fact that ODSP can't be garnished?

Nobody ever HAS to repay a loan or debt. But here’s the thing, and it’s hard learned. You’ll regret it.While it’s easy enough to duck a uncashed Cheque, or payday loan (I do know a few who have done it) it ends up affecting your long term credit. And it WILL show up on it.The first time I checked my credit score (about 2006) which was about 20 years after being out in my own, I discovered I had a score of 450–500.No big deal right? That’s what I thought. Suddenly every rental application, loan application made more sense. 90%+ Of Canadians had better credit then I did.Over the years I had been on a General Welfare, and even ODSP, and at no point does being on either make you “immune” to paying your debts. That said, there IS a loophole in most payday loan agreements (especially online) that we can make use of. If you loan/reloan 3–4 times inside x days, you can request smaller more manageable payments.A family emergency caused us to end up with a second one. While we got one finally paid down. The larger one remained, and there seemed to be no recovery from it.Finally we got tired of juggling the payment and decided to stop payments from my wife’s account, we are now under an agreement to make much smaller manageable payments on a monthly basis.THERE IS a way out, just read your agreement and/or talk to them about your issues. But its no doubt, you DO owe the money from ANY loan you put your name on. Best to arrange a payment schedule that you can deal with.

Forms were easy to follow,.good customer service, prompt responses when approached. What i didn't like is before one can print forms you would have to pay a noe time fee lf 45.00 or commit to one of the subscription plans, otherwise you will not be able to print document. I committed to the 7 day free trial and if you change your mind within 8 days you could cancel. I thought i would be given a difficult time if i cancelled, however i wasn't. When i contacted the support team with my request it was granted without any hassle.
