About twenty years ago, Cadbury’s Chocolate introduced a new format bar in the UK which they called the Pocket Pack. It was standard Cadbury’s Dairy Milk chocolate, but in the form of a block of four sticks of solid chocolate, rather like a Kit-Kat bar but all chocolate, and it cost 50p per pack.As a promotion, they ran a scheme whereby if you collected the wrappers of four of these, you could exchange them at one of the pizza house chains for a small pizza, the cheapest in their range being £2:99, so that even if you threw away the chocolate and just kept the wrapper, you were still making a profit of at least 99p. Not a very clever deal for Cadbury’s, I thought. At any rate, whenever I bought any chocolate that summer, I held onto the wrappers, and on the last night of the summer holidays, I told the kids we were going out for pizza, instead of eating at home as we normally did.When we got there, I felt a bit embarrassed by the stack of shiny purple wrappers on the table, but the manager, who came to take our order, was perfectly okay about it. And he greeted my two 14-year-old boys like old friends. “Hello, you two,” he said pleasantly. “Aren’t you sick of pizza and chocolate yet?”It was only then that I learned the truth. In addition to three square meals a day at home, they had consumed enough chocolate between them to dine out on free pizza too, almost every day that summer!

Now, honouring talent, motivating intelligent students is good and is quite necessary but no one has the right to demotivate other students who are average when compared to such brilliant students. They told others shitty statements which can make any student suicidal in a matter of seconds.Score based shuffling, difference in teachers of star batches, formation of SRG batch (ahh, wait let me tell you the full form of SRG -Sure Rank Givers).Allen treats the already brilliant students as rankers and the rest as bankers.No holiday except 15 Aug, 26 Jan, and Eid. Not a single holiday. Sundays were meant for tests.This immense pressure from Institute, from family, to fulfill expectations and yes, not to forget from dur ke rishtedar was taking the toll on students, and hence we have these high no. of suicides.Due to all this nonsense going on since forever, district collector ordered each and every coaching institute to conduct a fun day at the institute.A day when students can relax, can enjoy, can sing, dance, eat stuff, show their talent and it all happened suddenly. We had a lecture on biomolecules and they brought us DJs and jokers and chocolates.This is all about Allen Fun Day. 2015 was the first batch to witness it and thankfully I was a part of it. It happened again in 2016 and since then, it's a trend to celebrate fun day each year on Children's Day.Now, they grant 2–3 days off to class 11th students to relax and study better.No medals are distributed publicly.No open days. No ceremonies. No demotivating statements by self proclaimed preachers.Allen has no doubt the best teachers but it doesn't guarantee your admission. It needs little amendments in management. I think they should invite suggestions from students for it.Amidst chaos of living away from home, students in Kota just need a mental support and they try to find it in their teachers.P.S they have a mentor known as Allen Papa available only for top 20 students in tests.
