This is a difficult question to answer because one would have to watch an entire match to determine if one of the Big 3 did play their absolute best tennis and still lose.If a player gets to match point and then chokes, were they really playing their best tennis?If a player is unbeatable for three months and then finally loses a match, could they have had an off day, or did their opponent played a match for the ages?If a player is the best in the world, but has a mental problem against one particular player, are they really able to play their absolute best tennis when playing their bête noire?Here are a few examples of matches where one could argue a player was in unbeatable mode, but lost a match for one of a number of reasons.ROGER FEDERER (2005)Federer blew match points against Safin at the Australian Open, breaking a 22-match winning streak that was followed up by another 24-match winning streak. Nadal, who won the Rome Masters series a week ago, appeared to be running out of steam.”Finding His Footing on Clay, Federer Ends Nadal’s RunNadal came back to win the French Open that year, and aside from a bizarre first round loss in 2008, won 9 more titles, going 46–1 until his body and mind gave out in 2009 due to the turmoil in his personal life.In addition, I can think of examples where one of the Big 3 played one of their best matches ever when not playing on their best surface:Federer (2006): lost in 5 sets to Nadal on clay in Rome after holding match point. Nadal was at his peak, in the midst of that 81-match winning streak.Nadal (2012): lost in 5 sets to Djokovic at the Australian Open, against peak Djokovic.Djokovic (2013): lost in 5 sets to Nadal on clay in the semifinals at Roland Garros. This was the closest Djokovic ever came to beating end-of-peak Nadal at the French Open.There are a few matches where one of the Big 3 dominates tennis, but runs into a player who gets hot.Federer (2011): besides the incredible match by Safin at AO 2005, Jo-Wilfrid Tsonga played a match for the ages against Federer at Wimbledon, coming back from two sets to love down. Federer said there was nothing he could do.Djokovic (2015): in the midst of his greatest statistical season (even though 2011 was a stronger performance against better competition), Djokovic ran into the cannon better known as Stan Wawrinka. Djokovic was helpless against the Stanimal’s power game.Finally, there are those cases where a player gets into the head of an opponent, and no matter what they do, they can’t seem to get over the hump.Federer’s well publicized problems against Nadal were compounded by his illness to start 2008. Besides losing to a number of players he always beat, Federer suffered the greatest humiliation of his career at the hands of Nadal in the French Open finals, losing 6–1, 6–3, 6–0. At that immortal Wimbledon final, Federer came back from two sets down, only to lose 9–7 in the fifth set. But the real story was Federer’s mental game, as he won only 1 of 13 break points.Nadal suffered the same mental crisis against Djokovic in 2011, losing all six times against the Serb. I remember Nadal’s expressions and body language in a couple of those losses. He looked puzzled or confused, as if something impossible was happening (it was - Djokovic was outrunning and outworking him in those matches).And in spite of regaining his form in 2017 and regaining the #1 ranking, Nadal was 0–4 against Federer that year, and 1–5 overall with his only win coming this year at the French Open.CONCLUSIONWhen you have three all-time great players who have played so many close matches, I don’t think you can point to a particular match and say that the loser was playing their absolute best.It’s easier to point to matches where one of the Big 3 played their absolute best and destroyed one of their rivals, because we see the evidence after the fact.It would be a lot easier to point to examples where a lower ranked player played their absolute best and lost to a member of the Big 3.Thanks for the A2A

I believe no one can compete in Chinese work ethics, discipline, and productivity.(In India, productivity is low to a dead stop)Here is an example.I wanted to get some repairs done in my ancestral home. I hired some worker/contractor. They were very nice people, however here is the problem.None of them lived close by or had any public transportation, most of them came by bicycles as far as 15, 20 Km or longer distances. In the blustery cold day of December, foggy conditions it was about 9 AM. They were shivering with cold, they made some bonfire and warmed their hands. Requested me to make some tea for them by the time they started the day it was 10 AM. At 12 was lunchtime, and by the time they came back and started again, it was 1 PM, by 4 PM they were in low gear and 4:30 PM they started to wind down to leave at 5 PM.Now here is the catch:a. By the time they reached the worksite and went back to their villages from the big city. They have already used a fair bit of energy for the day, maybe about five hours of productive work.b. Poor nutrition of the labor force.c. Cheap liquor sickness and deaths.d. Poor medical facilities.e. Due to finances a lot of domestic problems.f. Very funny thing, I will remember it forever. One carpenter told me: Please call a maid to sweep the floor. Hum uchi jaat ke hai, jharu nahi lagayge.( I belong to the higher caste, would not sweep the floor). I grabbed the broom and did it.f. This is a partial list. ( I could write many more)On the other hand.a. The Chinese workforce has one of the best public transport systems.b. The major portion of the day which is wasted is used in a productive way either at home/or for the employer.c. Since the worker is not huffing and puffing and commute at the mercy of weather he/she is very productive at work.d. Excellent nutrition.e. Warm clothing/safety shoes/ uniforms/ and a much better work environment.In Canada to the best of my knowledge every kid by the time he/she is a teenager is reasonably trained to do manual work.G.Kids in a building store, they are now more familiar with building store than toys.My two helpers on the job, no need to look for work.These are my two grandsons, I vowed by the time they finish high school, they should be well versed to rip the house apart and put it together. In addition to their outstanding formal education, that is where the world is moving, including China on the top.My best estimate is: Indian productivity is maybe 30 percent as compared to the Chinese if that.Caste system:This manual work is Shudra work out of a population of 1.2 billion, say 900 million are upper caste, the rest of the world does not and did not work like that. The sad part is even the farming is not done in Punjab by so-called higher castes that are the conclusion I saw on the media.A while back there was a video/song, where an old farmer in Punjab cannot harvest by himself and looking migrant workers to help. The song in the background tells the very sad state of the things in the country.In another video/song: The young man is complaining about the tough life in farming.It appears everyone wants to come to Canada.This song made me everything, including three bachelor degrees and two masters.This movie I watched when I was a young boy in Chandigarh, I vowed I never will be unemployed.
