Well that's easy we were told by our parents with out a shadow of a doubt we were told the rules . . you are seen but not heard…you don't speak unless you are spoken to. We entertained ourselves 95% of the time we we're told go out side get some sunshine go play. We set our alarm clocks and got ourselves up for school our lunch was waiting in the fridge that our mum had made the night before usually being that delishous vegimite sandwich that for reasons we never did know tasted most disgustingly different to the ones we would wipp up ourselves on a regular basis. Then either ride our bike or walk to school or around Ekka time do both as you could never beat the power of those westerlys and be walking your bike until conditions eased. Once at school well quite simply if you were smart the teachers would put all their time in you if you were not the sharpest tool in the shed you we're just left to ponder over your own intelligence and think of ways in which you would pass the time till that bell rang. We never considered feeling sorry for ourselves it was black and white some of us were smart the rest of us wasn't didn't matter really as mum and dad never showed any interest in how we were doing at school as long as the school never contacted them and it was clear we weren't wagging school or doing anything wrong worthy of a call no problem. It wasn't till 12 years later and you failed every subject that there wasn't just a problem we were finally recognised and seen no longer ideal if we were out of their hair present all up in their face with the school report as hard evidence you couldn't turn a blind eye to a document of our mark out of 10 a document that said we were of very high achievement sound achievement low and then very low made up for us kids that rebeld from the act of being not bothered with yet still expected to abide by their rules and at least did the work assigned would lay our heads on our desks and go to sleep upon entering class they hated us but couldn't be stuffed dealing with our behaviour just thought I'll fix you you stupid shit for brains defiant little bitch. VERY LOW ACHIEVMENT. Now we were known in all our glory and out of no where our parents gave a shit about something we did we we're now the fuck ups the waste of money the stupid outcome we had become as we couldn't listen in school or take school seriously and now we have failed every subject and no one will want to employ us over night we became sensations who never needed their help for anything were at the age where we went and got a job and continued to fend for ourselves if we wanted the surf brand shirts that was the in thing and only the cool kids wore them you had to wear the brand names to be considered cool you go get a job and pay for that there would never be any justification for paying that amount of money for a brand name. Kmart or best and lest will do you just fine. Well I'm unsure how we beat the schools but us dumb arses with the vla still got jobs our marks were not as important as nailing an interview in nothing but your own merits. Whether we received very high achievemens in history geography home ech really didn't matter to the employer's of Woolies even when we had failed maths it was no biggy they would teach us just count back from the amount you are given you can't go wrong. I guess that was the one savour we had on our side the people interviewing us were the same generation as our teachers and knew how our education went down as they would tell there funny stories about these dumb as rocks kids and perceived themselves as having the best job and a job only the smartest and best people could get by their own demise full of cockyness superiority and cluelessness on their part ironically that their peers listening to their stories about work were educated themselves that smart kids are not found by looking at their stats their final markings given by their teachers and that there were infact geniuses with whom not only received very low achievements for every subject it was backed up by the teachers comments saying little Jimmy is working to the best of their ability. It didn't take a rocket scientist to read that and not see us children Gen X the quiet achievers left to our own devices and as much as we pleaded for the bigest invention to man the computer we we're told they couldn't afford it and they couldn't everything we did have was bought on higher purchase I guess that was the equivalent for us as making sure the new and improved melliniuns got all the modern cons they wanted for nothing as the baby boomers now at a age where they didn't just leave us to our own devices by choice they had to because mum and dad now had to work in order to keep up with everyone else the melliniuns have a pecking order and judge each other accordingly us gen X never judged our own kind it just simply was what it was we didn't care if we were rich or poor that stuff never mattered to us friendship was our only concern loyalty honour truth trust they were the things we valued. The melliniuns base their criteria on money how good your home is if you live in a good area if you have plenty of money if you go out and buy whatever you want and owe nothing no higher purchase no rent to own no not normal ways of purchasing something if you don't have the money in your bank when you buy anything and obtain something by any other means your labelled crazy and the rich silver spoon in mouth when born melliniuns will tell the not so born into wealth melliniuns exactly that and convince them they deserve better than that. So yes the melliniuns most certainly do believe they are entitled they grew up being bought everything they lacked they were bought these computers which is why they are so technically superior and have answers everything they literally do Google is there most intelligent extension of their brain they only have to speak to there computer and provided with the answer kwowlegde was so easily accessible and was in abundance there was nothing they couldn't find out about there was nothing that has happened in our life time they can't not know about if presented in a conversation where a answer to something can't be voiced they Google it This fountain of knowledge at their fingertips that they know how to seek and receive unlike any other generation. They have evolved into believing they are smarter than any generation before them especially their own kind Gen X we are Less than them in every way the dumb retarded mentally challenged cousin whoa greatest achievement is being a fuck up. The broke never has any money cousin works cleaning other people's toilets who just rented a lounge rent to own the only way the loser can buy a nice new lounge the embarassing never going to amount to anything lives in a dead beat town in a feral house that's disgusting paint is cracking in spots near the ceiling it's just so disgusting I wouldn't expect my melliniuns girlfriend to stay there. Yes the melliniuns look down on gen X for sure but we are cleaning their rented homes that how fellow genx build because they are having an inspection and neither have a clue how to clean a house because mummy daddy or the paid cleaner always did that. While your studying away at University in a software related degree looking down on me thinking this is best she could do cleaning houses that's right geniuses and your paying me to do so you wouldn't know where to start but I'm studying I'm at University yeah and we need dr's surgeons, melliniuns with degrees in science who can find cuers to cancer to beat the silent killer that is almost impossible to beat a guaranteed death sentence to most that fall victim to it's prey which is mow undoubtedly a higher statistic killer than aids that can affect anyone you know at any time. No it's so other men can't look at another man's wife and be aroused or excited by what he sees so there is no way another man can look at your wife and feel any kind of attraction to what he sees it's what I would want my daughter to wear if I had the choice. These are the men and women pulling the night shifts working from dusk till well after dawn the men and women working while the rest of us sleep to save out lives to tend to our injuries to be there for the good of human kind whatever race or religion it msy be. The Unentitled the independent the reliable the majority of us Gen X who get our selves awake and to school even when it's something we despise having to do which is why most mums or dad's have to wake us make our breakfast have it brought to you at the table and shovered to and from school still one of the most hated things growing up us forgotten make sure the unliked thing most unwanted your tired you don't want to get up you are spewing you have to do all of it to go to school. It's what's expected it's what we're told to do as much as we we're let to run wild literally roam the streets we were the most disaplined obedient well mannered children we made an impression and we're far superior than any very high achievement participant. And there was no time spent on us we only had to be told once. The melliniuns that don't like Gen X do so because they are threatened by a generation whom were given no step up guidance mod cons the forgotten that literally had that computer at their fingertips that knew the enormity of its core that knew exactly how much it would benefit all that had one it was the biggest invention to date it was more valuable than the light bulb itself. They don't like us because without the privilege of owning that computer we are still smarter than the majority of melliniuns who got one as soon as made privy to the public still technology savvy enough to navigate through the world of technology to somehow without having a computer first hand can work them to do what you need not being confused like our poor mother's whom couldn't work the VCR. We weren't asking for their wisdom in the working of the computer we simply made our way through it no stranger to lack of guidance or intricret users manual how to operate we used our imagination we used our brains to problem solve and think of the best solution we made our brain operate our very own computer we didn't learn or know things from pressing buttons and reading we unlocked part's of our brain as commonly as the computer had to be upgraded. What happened to us well we were left to our own devices with nothing but our imagination our thoughts our brain we were seen but not heard we were unlocking part's of our brain it's quite some time between get out side enjoy the sunshine till he back home before the street lights come on we were armed with one command for what could easily be the next 6 hours we were in charge of every aspect we had no book or computer pocket we were equipped with nothing but our brains and we didn't just be home before the street lights come on we made it back unharmed in no kind of trouble for 6 or so hours we made the right decision we made good choices we were no cause for concern we thought of things that would easily be good to do in 6 hours. Our Apple iPhone didn't run out of battery and we couldn't think of anything else but to come home and charge it. When the internet goes out we don't literally have nothing we want to do as anything we do require the internet. We don't put shit on apple I phones and proclaime our unding love for our Android phone as every Apple iPhone I've had has just been shit. I don't really think either phones can be shit it's just the mins way of saying Apple iPhone phone the only phone ever because I'm really just all about the brand not what works best. Gen X is overlooked as we are off somewhere figuring out shit day by day as it comes. We are overlooked because we don't make sure everyone is paying attention and know who we are and make it clear they are better than you are we are overlooked because we are professionals at being on our own and mastering what to do with ones own company. If things are bad we sit until we think of a way to fix it we don't ask for help we tell the truth which no-one want's to hear and the melliniuns would rather remove you from their life then hear you tell them something they don't want you to say or know. When a melliniuns knows your on to them they will cut you from their life and tell you your the reason they aren't in your life and will deflect a wrong they have done back onto you. Just when you tell them I'm not crazy before you can finish with I know what you said they are saying but aren't you are you sure because you really seem all sorts of crazy. You think you hear things but it's not what was said you make it all up in your head. Gen X is overlooked because we only speak the truth and if we don't have anything nice to say we don't say anything at all. Our truth is drowned out by melliniuns bararge of lies denial and manipulation all the facts in the world can't win them a VHA when being questioned over something you don't think is right in regards to them or something they are doing not being right Gen X will be armed with the truth and the facts enough to aniliate Gen me me but the new and improved melliniuns the generation the baby boomers finally got right can't be told anything they don't want to hear the more right you are the biggest threat you are and so you must be silenced so what you can't see you can't know. A young melliniuns will cut all ties with his beloved mother who raised him on her own and made sure he was safe well and happy his whole life she will have devoted her whole life to him. Without hesitation he will act as if he never had a mother even if she rings several times he won't message back to make sure everything is alright just ignore her. The melliniuns are so busy living a lie acting like they are the perfection of all generations truely believing they are better than all others but in reality they sleep more than any other generation. They are young fit and at their prime and according to them as far as life goes they have the least reason to be depressed and or sufforing from depression. They have their shit together more than their own parents generations they don't break or bend the rules like their parents have before them they are perfect law abiding citizens with their heads screwed on and will never make the mistakes like their parents generations have done. They will save the planet cuer world hunger be the first generation to never owe anything never be in debit will pay upfront for anything they wish to buy will always have savings in the bank. Pay all their bills on time. They will declare they can't wait to have children and raise them properly this will be privileged only to a Gx parent as it's a fact we got it all so terribly wrong. This will be apparent when they mix with the offspring of a Baby boomers who successfully and at the highest of achievement raised there melliniuns child. By the time the melliniuns were dividing and conquering their own making Gen X parents believed to be fuck ups no good and their parents would never have to do that you deserve better the melliniuns children of the new and improved baby boomer parents have manipulated the original kids the silent generation into thinking their parents are no good and theirs are so much better because they have seen us interact with our children they have seen a bond between us and our kids they didn't know existed immediately jealousy sets in they realise they aren't special like there parents told them the special ones don't need to be told they know it because they are shown it by their parents who are present and know their child and what's going on with them.
