The Avalon and ES share the same platform, engine, and transmission. The Lexus carries a longer warranty with four years or 50,000 miles of basic coverage and six years/70,000 miles of powertrain coverage compared to the Avalon's three years/36,000 miles of basic and five years/60,000 miles of powertrain coverage.The price difference is roughly $5,000 for a similarly equipped car. So did your friend really save a lot? Eh, I’d call it a wash; the extra year of warranty and nicer interior materials in the Lexus, not to mention its better styling, seems worth the extra money to me.

To the people who says a Lexus is a Toyota. I have a story for you.I had a customer who was really a BMW buyer. He owned nothing but BMW’s but was getting tired of the maintenance. He decided to come give Lexus a try. At first he wanted to drive an IS350 F-sport. So we drove that car and he liked it a lot.I advised him since he was a large man, he might be more comfortable in an ES350. He started getting loud about the fact that an ES is nothing more than a glorified Camry and his brother owns a Camry and its so plain Jane and not a nice drive etc.I have heard this before many times so I forced him to just take the ES350 up and down the block and if he hates it, I’ll knock another $500 off the IS350. (mean trick because the ES drives so well, and fits a bigger buy like a glove compared to the IS). The guy drove the ES and fell in love with it and an hour later he was signing on a new ES350. It truly drives better, and is much more comfortable of a ride, and the fit and finish in a Lexus is 10 fold better than a Toyota.Overall same company yes, but if you drive a Lexus and Toyota, you will see the difference for sure.

Today this is our front page.Even after everything we found out, all the evidence he gave and the failed attempts by Amber Heard to defend herself including going back and forth in her stories and her statements the media here has defended her since the beginning, using Johnny Depp as their punching bag.I heard all the audios of their conversations, saw the pictures, heard all the witness statements from both sides, and read the transcripts of the trial. He is OBVIOUSLY not a wife beater.He always left the room when she got angry. He didn’t fight back even when he had reason to.The police officers that went to their apartment in one of Heard’s temperamental nights said that nothing seemed wrong or out of place when she said exactly the opposite in her witness statement.Australians are now investigating her again because of the accusations by HER assistant saying she tried to falsify documents and pretend she didn’t know she couldn’t just take her dogs to Australia.She is TRASH! And somehow this judge allowed her to get away with it. This angers me immensely, and seeing the front page of the newspaper that I work for makes me want to quit.Johnny is now going forward with his trial against Amber Heard herself in America, hopefully there, he will get at least a bit of justice.EDIT: For everyone saying they can’t find me online relating to the ES paper, that’s because I’m not a writer for the paper, I’m a Team Leader for door to door distribution. I have nothing to do with the writing of the paper or what they put in it.
