Your ISP may need to change some security rules on their firewalls and routers to allow inbound web requests.3. A Domain NameWhile steps #1 and #2 will allow you to run a functioning web server, most internet clients will want to type in a human-readable URL to access your webserver instead of an IP address. To fix this, you will need to purchase a DNS name from GoDaddy or other domain name sellers, and register it against your newly-minted static IP address. Check out GoDaddy's or some other domain name seller's website to get instructions.
