So I am going to write about my experience with hope that MAYBE I will get a response out of this so called "company." So it started with a regular inquiry email about which of their software packages would be best for my cell phone issues at the moment. My phone seems to be stuck in recovery mode, which is when it asks to be plugged into iTunes to either be updated or restored. I tried updating, but kept getting the message "The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be updated. An Unknown Error Occurred (56)" or something very close to that. My other option was to restore and my last iPhone back up was in February so obviously I did not want to lose all my photos from February, March, April, May, June, and July. So I researched on YouTube and Google and CocoDocs Dr. Fone tool kit was recommended. Now as I said before buying I tried to get in contact with the company to make sure I purchased the right type of software for my problem. They have one very popular one called Data Recovery. But in my email response back, the representative that responded to me, named Ailsa, suggested I use System Recovery (which is NOT part of the free trial) and if my problem does not get solved they will refund me my money under the 7 day money back guarantee. Okay, so now I follow up with a mother email inquiring about the stipulations of their money back guarantee policy, because on their website they had a lot of confusing technical and non technical reasons that do and do not make you eligible for a refund. (all very confusing to me - obviously not a tech geek or else my phone would not be broken.) So all I wanted to make sure was that if my phone is not brought back to life, can I get a refund. Now I sent my first email on August 14, 2017 at 11:25pm. I got a reply on August 15, 2017 at 5:30 am. And I sent my first follow up inquiry about the refund at 8:30am. I sent a second one about the refund policy at 10:53am today. Then I began researching contact numbers. I found one on here and one different one on the internet. NEITHER WORKED. So to my knowledge, this company does not have a customer service/support phone number? I then sent the exact same email again at 1:44pm. Anyway I began to get desperate and decided to purchase the System Recovery software which costed 79.95$ but I had a ten dollar coupon so I paid $74.95 (after taxes I guess ... I don't know). To my avail it did not work to bring my phone back so that I could rescue the pictures, and it actually made the situation even worse. For about four hours I couldn't even get the iTunes logo back on my phone to try and restore it from iTunes now that I knew I wasn't getting my pictures back. Now I bought the product at 4:10pm and by 4:29pm I already knew it did not work. At which time I sent another email through their costumer service link on the website requesting a refund. At that point my payment was still pending. My payment has now been accepted and I still have not heard back from them. Now to give credit where credit is due, they do ask for TWELVE - TWENTY FOUR hours to respond back to an email. It has been well over twelve hours since my first email this morning at 8:30 am and I have not heard back yet. But will keep you posted for the 24 hour mark. I also tried reaching out to them through FaceBook and I got an automated message sending me the costumer service link I've already used FOUR TIMES. Now I tried to give their product a little more hope by trying advanced mode within the System Recovery software (which basically restores your phone) and it couldn't even do that!!! It gave me some dumb message. I was better off taking my phone to apple and having them hard reset. I know we all want hope to salvage our memories when it comes to things like this, but honestly dealing with this company was the worse hardship. Horrible costumer service, they have no contact phone number to speak to a real life representative and I'm sorry?, but twenty four hours to answer an email. Like this is 2017 people ... technology is supposed to be lighting speed and th point of all this social media and phones and emails is ummm quick communication ... no?
