These are some points I feel will effect the medical students :Since only one exam will be for exit as well as neet pg , it will be either easy or hard. NEET PG examination is based on method of elimination, so that top rankers get a branch they love. So, it needs to be of certain level to eliminate. If this level is kept, then many will not pass the exit exam and therefore will not be registered practitioners. If the paper is set easy, to allow as many possible people to exit, then the cutoffs will sky rocket like 2019 NEET UG.A doctor must be judged both on his theoretical and practical skills. Exit exam will judge just one aspect. It will be disadvantageous to those who lack speed to do MCQs.Not all aspire for PG. Some move to civil services, management, companies and maybe just medical officer. Passing an extra exam is something not needed. They have been already tested on a daily basis in clinics and exams.Stress- Medicos and interns are already in stress. It will add even more stress that one can't even become a Dr. if not able to pass exam.In case he fails the exit exam, what is he supposed to do before the next exam date. He is not even having any registration.

Being MO, State govt. will give you salary Rs 60,000 pm… But Here two conditions should be fulfilledGovt has right to allot seat for MO in other regions too..Generally away from your local town.A bond of almost 6th month has to be signed by you before joining.By the way,a simple test is conducted for the MO. It is generally quite easy based on MBBS syllabus.2. Now without PG,A doctor is like a rose without thorns. Let us compare the Promotion aspects first.Promotional Avenues for Medical Officers in CAPFs (Paramilitary)1. The posts of Senior Medical Officer shall be filled up by promotion of Medical Officers with four years regular service in the grade on the basis of seniority-cum-fitness without linkage to vacancies.2. The posts of Chief Medical Officers (Ordinary Grade) shall be filled up by promotion of Senior Medical Officers with six years regular service in the grade or ten years of total regular service in the cadre on the basis of seniority-cum-fitness without linkage to vacancies.3. Chief Medical Officers (Ordinary Grade) who have rendered not less than four years regular service in the grade shall be eligible to be appointed as Chief Medical Officer (Selection Grade) on the basis of their fitness to hold the said post.4. The officers are interviewed by a Board of officers Chaired by DGAFMS and based on their performance in interview and service records they are granted PC limited to the vacancies available.Commissioning of AFMC Graduates in AMC as SSC/PC OfficersEvery year fifty percent AFMC Pune cadets are granted PC and remaining fifty percent are granted SSC based on their merit and choice. They are commissioned in the rank of Lt. and equivalent and posted in various service hospitals for internship training. On completion of internship they are promoted to the rank of Captain or equivalent and posted to various Units for duty.Commissioning of serving JCO/OR IN AMC (NT) as SSC/PC OfficerOnce a year, JCO/OR is examined through a written test at AMC Centre & School before an SSB interview at various centers for grant of PC in AMC (NT). All full pay commissioned service with the colours as a Medical Officer, including period of secondment will count as full commissioned service towards rank and seniority for pay and promotion.(b) Promotion to the rank of Captain, Major and Lt Col will be by time scale provided an officer is found fit in all respects and is recommended for promotion:-(i) Captain : From the date of eligibility for permanent medical registration on completion of prescribed period of internship/date of commission, whichever is later, for those who are commissioned as per sub-para 3 (a) above. However, the permanent medical registration certificate must be produced within one year from the date of commission or date of eligibility for permanent medical registration. Defaulters will be promoted from the date of production of permanent medical registration. Promotion of officers who do full internship in the AMC will be notified from the due date only on production of Permanent Medical Registration Certificate.(ii) Major : On completion of 04 years reckonable service as Captain.(iii) Lt Col : On completion of 11 years reckonable service provided the officer completes satisfactorily the MOJC course and qualifies in the examination prescribed for the purpose.(c) Substantive promotion to the rank of Colonel and above will be by selection to fill the vacancies in the cadre as authorized from time to time and subject to the officer being found fit in all respects.(d) Pay & allowances consequent to promotion are granted only on publication of the Gazette Notification. For this purpose all officers who get promoted are required to forward a Full Pay Commissioned Certificate signed by them and countersigned by the Commanding Officer before the Gazette can be published.Antedate of Seniority10.(a) A candidate who has held an approved whole-time appointment in a recognized civil hospital for a period of six months or more will be eligible for an antedate of six months. The DGAFMS will be the competent authority for recognizing a civil hospital in India or abroad for this purpose.(b) A candidate will be eligible for grant of an antedate of 24 months if he on the date of commission is in possession of a post- graduate diploma in any branch of medical science recognized by the Indian Medical Council, obtained from a recognized institution after a diploma course of two years duration.(c) A candidate will be eligible for grant of an antedate not exceeding 36 months if he on the date of commission is in possession of a postgraduate degree in any branch of medical science recognized by the Indian Medical Council obtained from a recognized institution after a degree course of three years duration in respect of higher qualifications obtained prior to appointment. This will normally be granted for qualification such as Doctor of Medicine, Master of Surgery or an equivalent or higher qualification.(d) Maximum antedate of seniority admissible to a candidate in accordance with paras (a), (b) & (c) above will be limited to a total period of 42 months.(e) The eligibility of each candidate for grant of an antedate in accordance with the preceding sub-paragraphs will be decided by the DGAFMS.Specialist appointments11. Officers, while holding appointments within the authorized establishment of specialists, will be entitled to draw specialist pay at the prevailing rates. The specialist pay will be allowed to officers up to and including the rank of Brigadiers and equivalent.Retirement12.
