Why male circumcision is still allowed.It is illegal for girls to have their clitoris cut off at birth, and for good reason. Mutilating a child’s genitals without consent is horrific. It’s barbaric. It is something that shouldn’t be allowed to exist in developed nations, in the 21st century.This begs the question, why is male circumcision still allowed? Unless it is done for medical reasons, it is equally as barbaric as female circumcision.One of the main reasons this is still allowed, is because people should be allowed to practice their religion.That’s just utter nonsense. I do not care whether or not it is written in a Holy Book, it’s wrong and should be illegal. If it was written in the Bible that it was okay to murder homosexuals, should we make that legal too?Of course, if you are 18 years old and want to be circumcised, that is your right. No one should question that. But if you are not even a week old yet, you deserve the right to your private parts, no matter your gender.End of discussion.

We don’t have the right to our private parts. There is absolutely nothing wrong with circumcision. As long as you are 18 and consenting. But, in Denmark it is illegal to circumcise women’s private parts. But not men’s. Why is it legal to cut off a part of a man’s private parts in the name of religion, but not a woman’s?That no one gives a damn about our problems. According to feminists, it is a huge problem that 5% of CEO’s are women. But apparently, the fact that only 5% of nurses are men isn’t even a problem.That females can’t abuse. If I slap my girlfriend because she cheated on me, I am a terrible person. While the two may not be comparable(I have no idea), it does seem slightly unfair that a boy’s foreskin can be removed for any reason from medical to purely aesthetic.And finally(though there are many more examples), a woman can rape a man and then sue him for child support. Allow me to be more specific. In 1987, 16 year-old Colleen Hermesmann babysat for 12 year-old Shane Seyer. Hermesmann instigated a sexual relationship with Seyer, and became pregnant when she was 17 and he was 13. Now, keep in mind that the age of consent in Kansas in 16 years old, which meant that even though Hermesmann could consent, Seyer, even if he said that he did, legally could not. In Kansas, if a consenting adult has sexual intercourse with an individual under the age of 16, then that adult has violated the Kansas statutory rape law. In 1989, their daughter was born, and in 1991, the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services successfully took Seyer to court for child support. The resulting 1993 court case, Hermesmann v. Seyer, resulted in the Kansas Supreme Court rejecting Seyer’s appeal that he was not liable to pay for child support. This set two precedents that are now cited in U.S. child support guildlines:A woman is entitled to sue the father of her child for child support even if conception occurred as a result of a criminal act committed by the woman.An underage boy is liable for the support of his child even when the conception was the result of statutory rape by the mother.For the record, I would like to clarify that I'm not mad about this being a right that men don't have, I'm mad about this being a right that women have.These are just a few examples.
