The prominent tribal groups include the Nagas, Khasis, Jaintias, Mizos, Boros, Garos and Kacharis. Each group maintains its own identity and culture of language, art and culinary specialities with their integral traditions forming part of their daily lives. The cuisines of these regions are as varied as the tribes themselves. Food is simple and for the most part non-vegetarian. Their close proximity to China and Burma have played their part in influencing the cuisine. Fish seems to be the favourite for most, especially in Tripura and Assam due to the close proximity to the Bay of Bengal. The other staple is rice, a dominant cereal of the region and ‘Pitha’ a rice-based dessert is a favourite of all. Mustard oil is the favoured cooking medium.Travelling through Assam one encounters a wide range of delicacies, including til pitha (til stuffed rice-flour pastries), narial pitha (coconut stuffed rice-flour pastries), and larus (sweet balls of coconut and til) which are prepared in every home during the Bihu festival. Seera (flaked rice) and doi (curd and yogurt) are also eaten regularly.Nagaland situated at the extreme North-east of the states, is home to 16 major tribes and other sub-tribes. Though fiercely independent as tribes, the cuisine is quite similar and they have hardly any restrictions on the kind of meat they eat. One of their favourite meats is pork and dishes like Awo Kutsu, a speciality made from the head of the pig. Combinations of pork with crab, bamboo shoots, smoked pork with soya bean, crispy hot and sweet beef are popular. The unexplored cuisine of the north-eastDelicious chutneys, called “tathus”, are made using bamboo shoots and beans. Anishi Lon (a preparation of yam leaves and fermented bamboo shoots with pork and fish) is also famous. Rice dishes like Konyak Nuk-Nge and Galho, a kind of khichdi that can be made in different ways. Chicken seems to be the next favourite meat with dishes named Amerso and Anhoi. In Manipur the populace is distinctively divided into the hill tribes (Ching-Mee) and the people of the plains (Tam-mee) and both share the produce of the other. The people of the plains depend on the food grains cultivated by the hill tribes and the hill tribes depend on the meats provided by the tribes of the plains. Dishes like "Ngari" (fermented fish) and Eromba (fish speciality) are eaten regularly. "Umorok" (hot Chilli) is grown by the hill people and is used in many of the dishes. A popular sweet here is Kabok, made of rice and molasses.Orchards of lemon and lime, passion fruit, pineapple and papaya are a pretty sight as one traverses the countryside of Mizoram. Non-vegetarian in their diet, the tribals called the Mizos cook their food using methods that retain the nutritive value. Generally the food is rather bland for those who lovespice. Their favourite beverage seems to be a kind of tea called “Zu”.Northern most is the state Arunachal Pradesh where rice is the mainstay, coupled with boiled vegetables, pulses, meat or fish. The people avoid the use of spice and oils and have a rather nutritious diet with their favourite alcoholic beverage, a rice-beer also known as apang. In Meghalaya, a favourite Khasi delicacy is that of Jadoh, a delicious blend of rice and pork. How will the world end according to Christianity?

ANSWER: According to apocalyptic Bible Prophecy, the world will end in this manner (in chronological order).John 13:19 “Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He.”I. FINAL SIGNS OF THE ENDAn Increase In KnowledgeDaniel 12:4 "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."Science and technology would advance so far into complexity that we now live in the digital age of information where knowledge is readily available within seconds and at the touch of our fingerprints. While knowledge had increased regarding science and technology, the knowledge of the Bible has also deepened since ancient times. The science of archeology continues to vindicate the credibility of the Holy Scriptures!//ABOVE: When the knowledge of man increased, so did their ability to create weapons of mass destruction.Wars and Rumors of WarsMatthew 24:6-7 “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places…”With the increase in knowledge of our science and technology, so did our ability to destroy ourselves, each other, and the planet as evident by the results of many debilitating wars, weapons of mass destruction, political unrest, social unrest, religious intolerance. Danger lurks at every corner with a new threat unknown and known to the common man. From 1914-1918: In World War I, more than 20 million people diedMany of the countries involved wanted to test their innovations in machine guns, grenades, and artillery, as well as new weapons such as submarines, poison gas, warplanes, and tanks through an increase in knowledge.War itself was propagandized as “glorified” and many young men signed up to be part of it.From 1939-1945: In World War II, more than 60 million people died.It was during this dark period when Albert Einstien, in his studies in quantum physics (light theory), helped to develop the early versions of the nuclear bomb. From 1947 – 1991: The threat of nuclear war was prevalent between the Soviet Union and the U.S.A.From 1950-1953: In the Korean War, more than 5 million people died. From 1955-1975: In the Vietnam War, ~.79 to 2.45 million people died. From 2011-2017: more than 500,000 people were killed and 12 million people were uprooted in Syria and Iraq. From 2015-2017: the Turkish and PKK conflict kills 2,500 combatants and civilians and displaces more than 350,000 civilians. In 2016: Conflicts in Greater Sahel and Lake Chad Basin create mass human suffering uprooting 4.3 million people. These are only a few mentioned of many.//ABOVE: Adolf Hitler posing with young followers at a 1935 Hitler Youth gathering. (Source: Universal History Archive/UIG via Getty Images)Natural DisastersLuke 21:11 “And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.”Matthew 24:7 “…And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”Earthquakes:At the end of the year 2004, an earthquake centered in the Indian Ocean caused a tsunami that killed nearly 280,000 people across Southern Asia. The National Earthquake Information Center now locates about 20,000 earthquakes around the globe each year (approximately 55 per day).//ABOVE: “World map showing earthquakes above magnitude 5 during January 2020″ (source: Earthquake report world-wide for January 2020)Wildfires:In the summer of 2010, an unprecedented Russian heatwave kills about 56,000 people and wildfires destroy a third of the wheat crop.As of December 9, 2020, over 9,639 fires have burned 4,359,517 California acres alone, making 2020 the largest wildfire season. From January 1 to December 4 of 2020, there was a total of 52,934 wildfires. The total number of burned acres in 2020 alone was 9.5 million acres. In 2019 there were 47,673 wildfires. The total number of burned acres in 2019 alone was 4.7 million acres. In summary, the statistical trend of the frequency of wildfires between 1980 to 2020 has increased dramatically according to the National Interagency Fire Center.//ABOVE: The “Skirball fire” raging in the mountainsides (during the winter of December 2017) on California Highway 405 (near the Los Angeles area) as commuters drive in horror.//ABOVE: The “Kincade Fire” (source: Watch firefighters drive through apocalyptic fire scene [2019] in California)Hurricanes/Typhoons:In 2013, Super Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda killed more than 6,000 people in the Philippines. In September 2017, Hurricane Maria kills over 500 in the Caribbean and the United States while destroying Puerto Rico.In 2017, Hurricane Harvey inflicted more than $125 billion in damage within four days.In 2020, Super Typhoon Goni, the world’s most powerful storm in four years, smashes into the Philippines and other Islands destroying over 260,000 homes and affecting over two million people.According to a report by CBS News, in 2020 alone, “the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season has spawned 30 tropical storms, forcing forecasters to dig deep into the Greek alphabet for names, having run out of the assigned names in the middle of September. This breaks the former record set in 2005 of 28 named storms. A typical season only produces 12 named storms, so 2020 has already seen two and a half times more than average.”Pestilences:We had already witnessed the increase in “pestilences” of diseases such as cholera, SARS, AIDS, Ebola, Zika, flu, malaria, and now the worldwide COVID-19 Pandemic. The COVID-19 Pandemic also created an economic meltdown.I could go on and on with more statistics but in short, it seems today that rarely a week goes by where you don’t hear about some new natural disaster and the threat of it. Only over the past few years, the frequency of natural disasters only continues to increase and worsen.//ABOVE: People running for cover during the Las Vegas mass shooting on October 1, 2017//ABOVE: “How Orlando shooting unfolded, as seen via texts”Perilous Times2 Timothy 3:1–3 “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,”It is not a surprise to know that there is a major decline in morality that is almost in a state of ‘free-fall’:On September 11 of 2001, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed by terrorist hijacked plane attacks. The Pentagon was also partly destroyed and there was a failed attempt at the White House/Capitol.On December 12 of 2012, a young gunman opens fire at the Sandy Hook Elementary School killing 26 people (20 children between ages six and seven, and six adult staff members). In 2016, Chicago experienced one of its most violent years with record numbers of 4,300 shootings and 762 murders. In 2016, Mexico records 20,792 homicides (many relating to drugs) which was a 22% increase from only the year prior. In June 2016, A gunman opens fire inside a nightclub in Orlando, Florida murdering 49 people and injuring 50 others.Within 35 days of 2017, the world had witnessed two of the five deadliest mass shootings just in the U.S.In October 2017, a Gunman fires from a Las Vegas resort into a large crowd killing 58 people and injuring more than 500 others. This mass shooting is the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history. On February 14, 2018, a gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killing 17 people and injuring 17 others.Around 6:30 AM December 25, 2020 an Motor home in Nashville Tennessee exploded which was felt nine blocks away. It destroyed several other vehicles and damaged several buildings. It also launched black smoke in the sky that could be seen for miles. Police believe this was an act of terrorism.Furthermore, the state of the world is worsening in terms of the increase in child abuse, sex-trafficking, child predation, terrorism, financial corruption, political corruption, riots, violence, homicide, looting, etc. Day by day, the majority world who refuses to keep the commandments of God test His patience further and further, until it is too late when he passes Judgement and returns to rescue His people. Not only has morality declined, but also the economy:In December 2007, nearly 10 million people lost their homes during the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis. In February 2018, the Dow Jones Industrial Average falls 1,175 points (the largest drop in a single day in history). In the later part of 2020, the COVID-19 Pandemic has created massive unemployment and the deaths of many small businesses due to strict government regulations to suppress the effects of the virus.Interest in the Demonic/Occult1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,”From the mainstream media, Hollywood, and even the pulpits of churches, the interest in spiritism (spirit-communication) has increased because the dangerous world of the occult has been put into a positive and innocent light which deceives many people. The Dangers of the Occult are detailed here: What are the dangers (if any) of dabbling with the occult? The Gospel Goes to All of The WorldMatthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.Despite the moral downfall and the literal destruction of the World in various places, the Bible tells us the good news that the Gospel of Christ will be preached into all the world so that people know that they have a choice in obtaining eternal life through the blood of Christ. These signs are a warning for us all to “examine themselves as to whether you are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). If we do not know our sins and acknowledge them, then we cannot repent from that which we do not know about. In order to understand the gospel as it relates to the context of sin, grace, law, and salvation, read: Martin White's answer to What are the three basic types of sin according to the Bible?II. A WORLD POLARIZEDWorld Conditions Will WorsenMatthew 24:21–22 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.”As the events of the world continue to become darker and more ominous each day, millions of people will be waiting anxiously for some sort of peace and rescue from the troubles that are befalling the Earth. In these dire times of trouble, the bible says that “men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.” (Luke 21:26)A Clash of powersRevelation 13:11–12 “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”This piece of Bible prophecy describes a political power that will rise up “out of the Earth” (a sparsely populated land) in the last days of human history. This political power would be established on the two pillars of religious and civil liberty but it will “speak like a dragon” (like Satan). This power will eventually align itself with a foreign religious power controlled by Satan, in order to control the world. Through this political-state union, Satan will attempt to force every human being into a false system of worship.Although this works on many people, there will be others who will see through this deception and remain true to the Lord and his commandments. At the same time that this decree will be issued, the people of God will experience a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit to call all the people to worship the Lord of the Sabbath (Exodus 20:11)—the Creator of the heavens and the Earth (Revelation 14:6-7).A great revival of the Holy Spirit will compel many in the world under the influence of the Holy Spirit to take a bold stand for the Word of God and to earnestly work for the salvation of souls. This work is described by Revelation 18:1 which states, “after these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven…and the earth was illuminated with his glory.”Supernatural Signs and WondersRevelation 16:14 “For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”Revelation 13:13–14 “He [the beast power] performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.“As the supernatural influence of the Holy Spirit become more pronounced in the World, occult manifestations of supernatural power will also intensify to counterfeit the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus says that through spirit-communication, false-Christs, and false-prophets, many will be deceived by “great signs and wonders” which will deceive “even the elect” (Matthew 24:24).Forced WorshipRevelation 13:15 “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”The union of the Antichrist power and the lamb-like beast from the Earth will threaten people with death if they do not worship the image of the beast. This parallels the story of the three Hebrew boys in Daniel 3 when the King of Babylon forced all within his realm to bow down and worship an image of himself which would disobey the First (Exodus 20:3) and the Second commandment (Exodus 20:4,5).The same sort of test will occur in the last days where laws will pressure many people, under the threat of execution, to worship a certain “image” because Satan who works through governments and even certain churches, wants to turn everyone away from the worship of the Creator God and His Son, Jesus Christ. These laws will be disguised under the pretense of moral living and humanism at the expense of the commandments of God, but in reality, these laws would force people to embrace the mark of the beast and the antichrist power (Revelation 13:14–17).The Great DeceptionRevelation 12:9 “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”This, the war in heaven and the expulsion of Satan and his angels, occurred before the existence of Adam and Eve. This text tells us where the Devil is. The Devil is not in hell, he is on Earth with a terrorist mindset.1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”Revelation 12:12 “…Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”Revelation 12:4 “His [the dragon’s] tail drew a third of the stars [angels] of heaven and threw them [the angels] to the earth.”Satan managed to deceive 1/3 of the angels in Heaven. If he can do that with the intelligent angels of Heaven, how much more can he do it for human beings who were made “a little lower” than angels (Psalm 8:5, Hebrew 2:7)?2 Corinthians 11:14 “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”One of the greatest deceptions that will occur on Earth is the manifestation of Jesus Christ by the Devil himself, the father of lies (John 8:44), who will masquerade himself as Jesus Christ to deceive the people of the world. News will spread at the speed of light of the appearance of this false-messiah and deceive multitudes. News agencies from all over the world will flock to document Live footage of this supernatural being and many people will mistakenly believe this satisfies the prophecy “every eye will see him” (Revelation 1:7).Jesus warns us of this deception:Matthew 24:5,23–27“5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many…23 Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it. 24 For false-Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”How will Jesus actually come to Earth? The Secret Rapture?III. THE CLOSE OF PROBATIONThe Plagues FallRevelation 16:1-2 “Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, ‘Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.’ 2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.”Like in the days of Moses in Egypt, plagues will also befall the Earth before the Second Advent (“coming”) of Jesus Christ. These plagues are similar to the Plagues of Egypt. The plagues fall in this order:1. Gruesome sores on those with the mark of the beast2. Sea turned to blood3. Freshwater turns to blood and death of all marine life4. Sun scorches Man with immense heat5. Darkness covers the throne of the beast6. The Euphrates River dries dried up7. Mighty Earthquake, lightning, and thunderingsEven during the fall of these great plagues, those who refuse to worship the beast and his image will be protected by God’s power because of His promise, “4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day…10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;” (Psalm 91:10).The protection of God’s faithful children in the last days from the seven last plagues will be similar to how God protected the Children of Israel from the 10 plagues while they were still in Egypt (Exodus 8-9).A Final ChoiceRevelation 22:11 “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still."During this time, the Mercy period of God expires and God will pronounce a final judgment on every single person in the history of existence. This is similar to how God closed the doors of the ark supernaturally after Noah preached for many years to the inhabitants of the Earth that they may repent and enter the ark but once the doors were shut, it was too late! Salvation was no longer offered and the reward and punishment were to be carried out. This is also called the “close of probation” when each person’s choice to either worship the Creator or the Beast will be final. This of course does not negate God’s grace and will for all to choose to follow him because it is written, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9); but again, there will come a time where the doors of Heaven will be shut and God’s “mercy seat” will turn into the “judgment seat” to make way for Judgement (2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:11-13, Matthew 25:31-32). Sin in its entirety will not be permitted to exist forever, because it is meant to be eradicated along with anything that chooses to remain contaminated with it.The Wrath of SatanRevelation 12:17 “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”When all have made their final decision on who they worship (either Jesus or Satan), Satan will scheme to stir up more hatred against those who refuse to worship Him and his false-Christ. Thus, the Devil will use the lamb-like beast to kill the followers of Jesus who “keep” God’s commandments and the “testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 14:12).Revelation 13:15“He [the lamb-like beast] was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”This is the beginning of the battle of Armageddon that goes beyond a military battle in the Middle East because it is a worldwide spiritual battle between the forces of good and evil. In this battle, Satan and his forces make a desperate attempt to eradicate God’s people and gain total control over the world, but the Lord has not forgotten His people during these troubled times. The saints of God passing through the Earth, like the martyrs in the Roman colosseums, will not fear death nor persecution because of their firm faith in the coming of their Lord, their assurance of eternal life, and the first resurrection (you don’t want to be in the second resurrection—Revelation 20:6).IV. THE RETURN OF THE KINGThe Promise of His Return1 Timothy 2:5-6 “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,”Acts 1:9–11 “Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, ‘Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.’"John 14:1-3 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”Revelation 22:7,12,20 "7 Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book…12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work…20 He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! "The Manner of Christ’s ReturnMatthew 24:30-31 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”Revelation 1:7 “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.”Matthew 24:27 “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. While there is no exact date of his surprise return, we will only know the nearness of His coming that is why Jesus provides us the signs of the “Time of the End” before the “End of Time”.The Nature of the Second Coming:A literal event (Acts 1:9–11)A visible event (Revelation 1:7)A worldwide event (Matthew 24:26–27)An audible event (1 Thessalonians 4:16)A physical event (Revelation 16:18)A decisive event (Matthew 24:29–31)A glorious event (Matthew 25:31)A transforming event (Luke 21:25–28)A bright event (2 Thessalonians 2:8)Descriptors of Christ’s Return:Lightning (Matthew 24:27)Clouds (Matthew 26:64)A trumpet (Matthew 24:31)A shout (1 Thessalonians 4:16)Power (Luke 21:27)Glory (Mark 13:26)Angels (Matthew 16:27)Brightness (2 Thessalonians 2:8)Flaming fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8)Mighty Earthquake (Revelation 16:18The Truth is, the event itself is not a secret. It is only the time of His coming that is secret. To understand where the history of the “secret rapture” doctrine (where you get the popular “left-behind” series) comes from, read: What are the different types of Christian eschatology? The Fate of the WickedRevelation 6:15-16 “And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!’”While the Saints of God are fleeing from evil people, God suddenly appears and descends from Heaven with the full glory of his angelic host and the Heavenly city of the New Jerusalem to rescue His persevering children. The Saints of God rejoice as they witness the full glory of their Divine King! In the meanwhile, those who have rejected God and his salvation by following the beast will reap the results of their rebellion where they had spurned every chance to repent before the close of probation. Thus, during the Second Coming, “[they] said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!’” (Revelation 6:16) while many “weep” with “gnashing teeth” (Matthew 13:41,42,50 & Luke 13:28). Those wicked will be destroyed by the consuming brightness of His mere presence in Heaven (2 Thessalonians 2:8).My friends, there is no middle ground:Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad”1 John 2:15 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”James 4:4 “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”Eternal Morning1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”The Lord Himself will resurrect the dead in Christ who experienced the first death like Moses. Those who are alive in Christ, witness the first mass ressurection. These people represent those who will go to Heaven and not experienced the first death like Elijah.Notice in verse 16 that the “trumpet of God” will sound.1 Corinthians 15:51–55 “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: ‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’ 55 ‘O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?’"Notice that the “trumpet” mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 is “the last trumpet” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:52.The Saints on Earth who did not experience the first death, like Elijah, are also transformed and “put on immortality” and “incorruption” and later ascend to heaven with the recently resurrected Saints.1 Thessalonians 4:17 “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”With the world convulsing and shattering below them, the redeemed of the Lamb will ascend into Heaven and meet Jesus and His angels in the air.Total Planetary WastelandJeremiah 25:33 “And at that day the slain of the Lord shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground.”All those who remain, the wicked, will all die at the Second coming of Jesus Christ. During the Second Coming total planetary collapse will ensue as oceans boil, earthquakes shatter the land, islands vanish, and hailstones pummel the Earth (Revelation 16:17–21).The wicked who somehow managed to survive these catastrophes are soon destroyed by the brightness of the Lord’s presence and the global upheaval. The bodies of the wicked will lay scattered throughout the planet leaving the planet desolate of life except for Satan and his angels. For the first time since its creation, the planet Earth has become totally devoid of human life which ultimately reveals the ultimate consequences of sin and rebellion against a Loving, Just, and Merciful God who died in their stead so that they might choose to live.V. THE MILLENNIUMThe Justice of GodPsalm 89:14 “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.”Romans 12:19 “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord.”Psalm 9:8 “He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.”Psalm 96:13 “Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.”These verses clearly explain that God does not leave sin without punishment. God, is not only the God of Mercy but also Justice. The Millennium PrisonRevelation 20:1-2 “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;”The term “bottomless pit” comes from the Greek word “abussos” which is a desolate region and a state of chaos. The Greek translation of the Old Testament (called the Septuagint or LXX) uses this same word found in Revelation 20 to describe the earth before creation as it was “without form, and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep” (Genesis 1:2). Furthermore, the prophet Jerimiah also uses this word to describe the earth during the millennium (Jerimiah 4:23–26). This indicates that the earth will be returned to a state similar to the time before God began to create life on our planet. When the Earth becomes desolate and the Saints of God are raptured to Heaven during the Second Coming, Satan and his angels will be left alone on the dark, desolate, and abysmal Earth. In misery and with nothing to do for the first time since the start of his futile rebellion, Satan will be forced to ponder upon the results of his rebellion against the kingdom of God as he beholds the mangled cities, scorched forests, and dry bones in every corner. The Millennium ReignWhat happens to God’s people when Jesus returns?Matthew 24:30-31 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep [dead]. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”John 14:1–3 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”The first thing that happens to God’s people (the resurrected saints and those saints who remain alive) is that they will be gathered up from all four corners of the earth and then ascend to Heaven in the sky to meet Jesus in the air. In the New Jerusalem, we will be living in mansions prepared for us by the Lord. The Desolate EarthJeremiah 25:32-33 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Behold, disaster shall go forth From nation to nation, And a great whirlwind shall be raised up From the farthest parts of the earth. 33 And at that day the slain of the Lord shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground.’”Jerimiah 4:23–25 “I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; And the heavens, they had no light. 24 I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And all the hills moved back and forth. 25 I beheld, and indeed there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled.”After the not-so-secret rapture, Satan and his angels are again bound to the desolate, void, and abysmal earth during the Millennium. The Hidden RevealedWhat will the righteous do in Heaven during the Millennium?Revelation 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”Revelation 20:6 “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”The time-frame in Revelation 20 that speaks of Satan being bound to the bottomless pit and the righteous saints being in Heaven is the same. The purpose of this Millennium reign in Heaven is for God to commit the judgment to them in a jury review of those who have been lost and died without the first resurrection because the Bible says, “Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?” (1 Corinthians 6:2)Many of the saints will wonder why certain people such as close friends, relatives, leaders, church-people, etc., they once knew are not with them in Heaven. This is because the Bible teaches that we are to withhold our judgment in regards to the salvation of others while we are on this earth but the time for human judgment will take place in heaven during the Millennium reign. Paul wrote, “Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.” (1 Corinthians 4:5).In other words, we will judge others when the Millennium begins, when all the secrets, sins, and crimes of the lost are exposed into the light for the host of Heaven so that we can see exactly how God was fair in his judgments regarding his condemnation of those who received the mark of the beast and the mercies he had provided them before the close of probation. The veil will be pulled aside which will reveal the spiritual battles that raged for each wandering soul. Not only will human secrets be revealed but also those of the fallen angels of Satan! The Bible says, “Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?” (1 Corinthians 6:3).NOTICE: These verses of 1 Corinthians 6:2–3 does NOT teach that the saints will determine who will be saved or lost because God had already done that when he sealed his people and issued the mark of the beast during the close of probation before the Millennium. Instead, these verses tell us that the saints will understand the whys and why not of God’s final judgments (emphasis added). Before any single sinner receives the punishment of the second death after the second resurrection, humans will have a full understanding of the transparent justice of their loving God as a vindication of His Holy character. All the words and deeds of the wicked are weighed against the Word of God and the justice of their sentences for eternal death is affirmed without a doubt so that no man nor angel can ever accuse God, just as Lucifer had done in Heaven to deceive 1/3 of the angelic host, of being unjust, unmerciful, or unloving.Perfect JusticeAt the end of the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison for a short time and God with the entire host of Heaven will return to the Earth to carry-out the final punishment on the lost. The meek will inherit the Earth, but it must first be transformed from the ashes.VI. THE END OF SINThe New Jerusalem Descends from HeavenRevelation 21:2 “Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”The word “Jerusalem” means “city of peace”. The New Jerusalem is the new and eternal city of peace contrary to the Earthly Jerusalem which had been destroyed multiple times. The Second ResurrectionJohn 5:28-29 “Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.”Revelation 20:5 “The rest of the [wicked] dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.”Obviously, the wicked, who are dead on the Earth and not in Heaven during any part of the millennium, did not take part in the first resurrection; however, there is a special resurrection during the Second Coming for the wicked who nailed Christ to the cross (Revelation 1:7).Satan Released from PrisonRevelation 20:7-8 “Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.”When the millennium ends, the wicked people of every time and place are resurrected again (with the same mortal bodies they possessed before death) to experience the judgment of the second death but before God destroys them all, Satan will make one final attempt to battle the New Jerusalem which descends from Heaven to the Earth at the end of the Millennium (Revelation 21:2) by gathering and deceiving the resurrected wicked of the Earth once more.Meanwhile, Jesus descends from Heaven and His feet touch the mount of olives and it transforms into a great plain so that he can land the massive city of the New Jerusalem on it (Zechariah 14:4).The Books OpenedRevelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.”The “dead” in this verse does not only refer to physical death but to those also dead in sin.Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.”Acts 17:31 “because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."A Futile BattleRevelation 20:7–8 “Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.”The Second Death of Eternal DestructionEzekiel 38:16 “You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”As the wicked surround the Heavenly city of the New Jerusalem, they suddenly feel exposed (Luke 12:2) and realized the dismal condition of their condemned state and thus they will finally bow their knees to God while in despair for it is written, “…‘As I live’, says the Lord, ‘Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.’” (Romans 14:11).As the wicked confess who God is, the Lord executes his righteous judgment for those who refused to accept His offer of salvation,Revelation 20:9 “They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.”Malachi 4:1,3 "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the Lord of hosts, ‘That will leave them neither root nor branch’…3 ‘You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,’ Says the Lord of hosts.”At that point, when God reigns fire from Heaven, as he did with Sodom and Gomorrah, the wicked had faced the irreversible consequences of their actions when they were engulfed and eradicated by a raging inferno in front of the eyes of the saints who remain safe and secure inside the walls of the New Jerusalem. The wicked will experience the judgment that Jesus had faced on the cross but they will not have hope in another resurrection, for they had every chance prior to the close of probation to repent from their wicked ways and seek the salvation offered by Jesus’s priceless death on the Cross.2 Thessalonians 1:9 “These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,”The fires that had completely annihilated the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah will be the same fires that will befall those who surround the Heaven City after the end of the millennium.Complete Destruction2 Peter 3:10,12 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up…12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?”The complete destruction of the world after the Millennium follows the same language as the Prophet Daniel in the vision of the statue of a man with different metals. The “feet of part iron and clay” represents our modern people/time by which the “stone” struck it and completely destroyed it (see Daniel 2:35).V. THE NEW HEAVENS AND THE NEW EARTH//ABOVE: Jesus recreates Earth from the ashes of the Old World as well as the Heavens.A New BeginningRevelation 21:1 “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.”The term “sea” used by John the Revelator, who was kept prisoner in the ISLAND of Patmos, is probably using the term as a metaphor for sin and “separation”. Sin is the absence/separation of God (Isaiah 59:2), through the disobedience of His Law (1 John 3:4).2 Peter 3:13 “Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”Isaiah 65:17 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.”Isaiah 66:22–23 “’For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,’ says the Lord, ‘So shall your descendants and your name remain.’”After the execution of the second death, the saints of the New Jerusalem will experience first-hand the Creative power of Jesus as he had done during the six-days of Creation. They witness Jesus Christ, the Creator (Colossians 1:16, John 1:3), recreate the Heavens and the Earth to its intended perfection before the Fall of Man.The End of All SufferingRevelation 21:1-5 “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."Isaiah 65:17-19 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. 19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.”Isaiah 11:6-96 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.”1 Peter 1:3-4 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance [a]incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,”Matthew 5:5 “Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.”1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’”The Memorial of LoveRevelation 21:3 “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.”Zechariah 13:6 “And one will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your arms?' Then he will answer, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.'”A little child walks through a Heavenly garden and sits on the lap of Jesus. The small child traces, with small fingers, the strange markings and wounds on the body of Jesus and asks Him, “What are those wounds on your body?” and Jesus said, “Those are wounds from the time I proved my love for you, my child”.The events of the Lord’s Mercy and Justice are all a vindication of his Heavenly love for us and thus, the Bible can be summarized by the simple statement of “God is love.” (1 John 4:8).VI. A FINAL PLEAThe Two EternitiesEternal Death:Revelation 2:11 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death."Revelation 20:14 ″Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”Revelation 21:8 “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."Malachi 4:3 “’ You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,’ Says the LORD of hosts.”Psalm 37:28 “For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.”[to be “cut off” is not just to die/perish, but it is a divine curse involving the complete non-existence of the sinner and his descendants]Eternal Life:John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”John 11:25 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.’”1 John 5:11–13 “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”Ezekiel 18:23 “’Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?’ says the Lord God, ‘and not that he should turn from his ways and live?’”Ezekiel 33:11 “…‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’”There are only two eternities that a person can obtain. Choose today who you will serve! Ask yourself today if you are right with the Lord. Do not delay your salvation! Come as you are and the Lord will receive you with open arms.Joshua 24:15 “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”Revelation 3:11,20,21“11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown…20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”If this makes sense to you, my friend, share this answer with your friends and other spaces! What is your religion? What is the proof?

Baha’i Faith. I was raised a devout, but open-minded and academic Christian. I converted at age 18 after 3 months of intensive study during a summer. It was very difficult to leave my family church and to tell my family (who I respected and respect), so I had to be able to justify my decision. There are multiple proofs I found to be compelling such that I felt I must leave my family church:Logical and rational:1. I became convinced that the Bab (“Gate” or “Door”: ministry: 1844–1850; Báb - Wikipedia) and Baha’u’llah (“Glory of God”; Bahá'u'lláh - Wikipedia; ministry 1853 to 1892) produced numerous texts with such rapidity that no human could ever have been capable of producing absent direct guidance from God. Both never had formal advanced education sufficient and noted that religious scholars after decades of study could not match their rapidity and eloquence. These were continuous and rapid dictation or writing without referring to other texts or documents and without prepared notes of any kind. In many instances, these were revealed within in exile or prison without access to documents or research. Yet, Both could cite from the verses of past scriptures and facts without having to verify them or cite them. The Bab’s first major text in 1844 exceeded the length of the Quran and was a commentary on the Quran in an artistic and elegant form of Arabic. The Shah of Iran sent a most trusted scholar to investigate the Bab’s claims in 1845. Siyyid Yahya-i-Darabi (aka “Vahid”;Siyyid Yahya-i-Darabi (Vahid)) was skeptical and even hostile, but became an ardent believer after 3 meetings and witnessing the Bab reveal verses. The Governor of Isfahan and certain clerics in Isfahan witnessed the Bab reveal verses and became believers as well.Baha’u’llah revealed the Kitab-i-Iqan (more than 200 pages) in a mere two days and nights in 1861. The total Writings of Baha’u’llah exceed 18,000 known documents and 7 million words. This is the ancient test of a Prophet of God set out in the Hebrew Bible and the Abrahamic tradition. (See Prophet. - Smith's Bible Dictionary Online definition of “Nabi”-the Hebrew/Semitic word for Prophet.)These included extensive commentaries on the religious teachings of the past, meaning of specific passages and prophesies in past religions, matters of science, matters of governments, and future events. Additionally, Abdu’l-Baha (“Servant of Glory” aka Sir Abbas Effendi; born 1844, died 1921 `Abdu'l-Bahá - Wikipedia) produced such works to a lesser extent. None of these individuals had formal education beyond limited elementary tutoring. Yet, they mastered Arabic and Persian at a level unsurpassed. An excellent text on this is Proofs of Baha’u’llah’s Mission compiled by Paul Lample and Baha’u’llah addresses this in the Kitab-i-Iqan (Book of Certitude at The Kitáb-i-Íqán at pages 216–230). In this context, Baha’u’llah states;“Therefore, should a person arise and bring forth a myriad verses, discourses, epistles, and prayers, none of which have been acquired through learning, what conceivable excuse could justify those that reject them, and deprive themselves of the potency of their grace? What answer could they give when once their soul hath ascended and departed from its gloomy temple? Could they seek to justify themselves by saying: “We have clung to a certain tradition, and not having beheld the literal fulfilment thereof, we have therefore raised such cavils against the Embodiments of divine Revelation, and kept remote from the law of God?” Hast thou not heard that among the reasons why certain Prophets have been designated as Prophets “endowed with constancy” was the revelation of a Book unto them?” The Kitáb-i-Íqán, p. 220.2. The many prophesies of the Bab, Baha’u’llah, and ‘Abdu’l-Baha. By my count, there are more than 100 documented prophesies (some major and some minor) and all proved true. (This is addressed in part in The Challenge of Baha’u’llah by Gary Matthews, 2018 edition and by Shoghi Effendi in Promised Day is Come, 1941 originally, available online at Bahá’í Reference Library.) (I will provide some more detailed examples later in this answer.)These include predicting the fates of certain rules and governments and ministers of governments, predicting future events within the Baha’i Faith, anticipating the development of nuclear weapons, commentaries on scientific developments only confirmed decades later, warnings about wars (particularly World War I and World War II), anticipating the founding of the League of Nations and United Nations. Moreover, the prophesies repeated by ‘Abdu’l-Baha were often written down in talks He gave in Europe and North America between 1911 and 1913.Fulfillment of Prophesies in Christianity and Judaism: As a devout Christian, this was important for me to understand. There are numerous Baha’i texts on this subject. Quite a few Baha’is have been former religious students and even members of the clergy (particularly in Islam). An old classic is Thief in the Night by William Sears at https://bahai-library.com/pdf/s/sears_thief_night.pdf but numerous other texts have been written. ‘Abdu’l-Baha gave some talks on this issue and answered some questions in various letter he wrote as well. The stories and events. The early history of the Baha’i Faith has been documented and is inspiring. More than 20,000 persons were killed between 1848 and 1853. Over 400 Islamic scholars became followers of the Bab. This is documented in a book called the Dawnbreakers at The Dawn-Breakers: Nabíl’s Narrative of the Early Days of the Bahá’í Revelation and in many other Baha’is and even non-Baha’i texts on the history of the Baha’i Faith.Personal:I had an extended near-death experience at age 12 in 1973. (29 out of 32 on the Greyson Scale). I was told “Christ had returned”, His religion was or would be “in the Holy Land” (Palestine/Israel), and I would find this religion. I was also told about many teachings: many religions are from God; the major religious Messengers all were from God (Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad were the ones I remembered and wrote down), that men and women were equal spiritually, and that the world was evolving toward peace in the future. I wrote some of this down but was never certain (also was told things about my personal future, wife and children, that did not occur until much later but proved true). Almost six year later, in 1979, I picked up a paperback book called Baha’u’llah and the New Era (Bahá’u’lláh and the New Era) out of a stack of used books and read it. I realized instinctively that the Baha’i Faith was the religion and Baha’u’llah was the Messenger of God I had been told about and written about privately. Some Prophesies in the Baha’i Faith:PROPHESIES OF BAHA'U'LLAH AND ABDU'L-BAHABaha'u'llah, PROCLAMATION OF BAHA'U'LLAH, Tablet to Napoleon III, p. 20-1. "For what though hast done, thy kingdom shall be thrown into confusion, and thine empire shall pass from thine hands, as a punishment for that which thou hast wrought."Baha'u'llah, ibid., to Czar Alexander II, p. 27. "Beware lest thou barter away this sublime station ... Beware lest thy sovereignty withhold thee from Him Who is the Supreme Sovereign."Baha'u' llah, ibid., to Queen Victoria, p. 33-4. "We have been informed that thou hast forbidden the trading in slaves ... God hath, truly, destined reward for thee, because of this .... We have also heard that thou hast entrusted the reins of counsel into the hands of the representatives of the people. Thou hast, indeed, done well, for thereby the foundations of the edifice of thine affairs will be strengthened, and the hearts of all that are beneath thy shadow will be tranquilized."Baha'u' llah, ibid., to Wilhelm I (Germany), p. 39. "Think deeply, 0 king, concerning him (Napoleon III), and concerning them who, like unto thee, have conquered cities and ruled over men. The All-Merciful brought them down from their palaces to their graves. Be warned, be of them who reflect ... 0 banks of the Rhine! We have seen you covered with gore, inasmuch as the swords of retribution were drawn against you; and you shall have another turn. And We hear the lamentations of Berlin, though she be today in conspicuous glory."Baha'u'llah, to Sultan Abdu'l-Hamid, BAHA'U'LLAH AND THE NEW ERA, p. 243. "Erelong His wrath shall overtake you, revolutions shall appear in your midst and your countries will be divided."Baha'u'llah, to Ali Pasha, Minister of State to Turkey, BAHA'U'LLAH AND THE NEW ERA, p. 243. "More than that, by what thou hast done its (war's) blaze and flame have been increased. Soon it will encompass the world and its inhabitants ... The day is approaching when the Land of Mystery (Adrianople) and what is beside it shall be changed, and shall pass out of the hand of the king, and commotion shall appear, .... "Baha'u'llah, to Pope Pius IX, PROCLAMATION OF BAHA'U'LLAH, p. 83. "Beware that thou dispute not with Him (Baha'u'llah, Him being the Prophet of God) even as the Pharisees disputed with Him (Jesus Christ) without a clear token or proof .... Beware lest any name debar thee from God, the Creator of earth and heaven .... Beware lest ye transgress the bounds fixed in the Book. This indeed becometh thee. Beware lest thou appropriate unto thyself the things of the world and the riches thereof."'Abdu'l-Baha, BAHA'U'LLAH AND THE NEW ERA, p. 249. "Baha'u'llah frequently predicted that there would be a period when irreligion and consequently anarchy would prevail. I have always said that the peace proposals following the Great War (World War I) were only a glimmer of the dawn and not the sunshine." (Spoken in 1919)Baha'u'llah, 1890 A.D., TABLETS OF BAHA'U'LLAH, p. 69. "Strange and astonishing things exist in the earth but they are hidden from the minds and the understanding of men. These things are capable of changing the whole atmosphere and their contamination would prove lethal."Baha'u'llah predicted (in a passage in GLEANINGS, section xcvii, also discussed by Adib Taherzadeh in REVELATION OF BAHA'U'LLAH, Vol. 2, p. 268) that a way would be eventually found to turn copper into gold and gold into copper. He noted that this knowledge could be used to change any element into any other element since all elements are made of the same basic materials. He warned further that the knowledge of how to change the atoms would prove very dangerous to mankind, especially in conflict.'Abdu'l-Baha, 1911, in a conversation in Paris with Viscount Arawaka, the Japanese Ambassador to Spain, quoted by Lady Blomfield, THE CHOSEN HIGHWAY, p. 184. "Scientific discoveries have increased material civilization. There is in existence a stupendous force, as yet, happily, undiscovered by man. Let us supplicate God, the Beloved, that this force be not discovered by science until spiritual civilization shall dominate the human mind. In the hands of men of lower material nature, this power would be able to destroy the whole earth."'Abdu'l-Baha, address in the NORTH SHORE REVIEW, September 26, 1914 (delivered in October 1912 on the West Coast of the United States) "We are on the eve of the Battle of Armageddon referred to in the sixteenth chapter of Revelation. The time is two years hence, when only a spark will set aflame the whole of Europe. The social unrest in all countries, the growing skepticism antecedent to the millennium, and already here, will set aflame the whole of Europe as is prophesied in the Book of Daniel and in the Book of Revelation. By 1917 kingdoms will fall and cataclysms will rock the earth. "'Abdu'l-Baha, 1912, PROMULGATION OF UNIVERSAL PEACE, p. 321-2. "Continual additions to the armies and navies of the world will be made, and the fear and certainty of the great pandemic war-the war unparalleled inhistory-will be intensified; for armament, heretofore limited, is now being increased upon a colossal scale. Conditions are becoming acute, drawing nigh unto the degree of men warring upon the seas, warring upon the plains, warring in the very atmosphere with a violence unknown in former centuries."'Abdu'l-Baha, 1919, quoted in Balyuzi's ABDU'L-BAHA, p. 258. "Another war fiercer than the last will assuredly break out."'Abdu'l-Baha, 1919, quoted in CITADEL OF FAITH, p. 37. "The ills fromwhich the world now suffers will multiply; the gloom which envelops it will deepen. The Balkans will remain discontented. Its restlessness will increase. The vanquished powers will continue to agitate. They will resort to every measure to rekindle the flame of war. Movements, newly born and worldwide in their range, will exert their utmost effort for the advancement of their designs. The Movement of the Left will acquire great importance. Its influence will spread."'Abdu'l-Baha, to a Jewish audience in a synagogue in the U.S. in 1912, PROMULGATION OF UNIVERSAL PEACE, p. 414. "Consider the troubles and persecutions heaped upon you in Russia for your fanaticism of unbelief. And you must not think that this is ended. This humiliation will continue forever. The time may come when Europe itself will rise against the Jews. But your declaration the Christ was the Word of God will end all such trouble."Balyuzi, ABDU'L-BAHA, p. 443. " ... , Abdu'l-Baha was invested with the insignia of the Knighthood of the British Empire. That knighthood was conferred on Him in recognition of His humanitarian work during the war for the relief of distress and famine (In Palestine Turkey and Britain fought, resulting in a cutoff of grain. Abdu'l-Baha saw to the planting before then shortage of grain occurred and guided the distribution of grain during the shortage.). He accepted the honour as the gift of a 'just king' but never used the title."Balyuzi, ABDU'L-BAHA, p. 445. "On the question of racial harmony, Abdu'l-Baha had reminded Dr. Baghdadi of His statement, when in America, that blood would flow if nothing were done to establish harmony between the black and white."Abdu'l-Baha, WORLD ORDER OF BAHA'U'LLAH, p. 39. "The fifth candle is the unity of nations a unity which in this century will be securely established, ... " Fulfillment by the creation of the United Nations, even though incomplete and yet flawed.Passages in the Bible: (My personal compilation based on Hebrew, Greek, and translated texts.
