Huge land yachts aren’t practical either - you sacrifice a lot of storage space for the saloon/sedan style. And they’re about 9 miles long! But there’s nostalgia for old cars, I guess. Mustangs are actually pretty popular over here since Ford started making it easy to get them in the mid 2010s. It’s a statement car and petrol heads tend to like them. For the 1.5 liter engine, Mercedes and Renault engines are almost exactly the same. For the 1.6 liter version, Mercedes has slight modifications for more refinement and power. Mercedes offers 136HP compared to 130HP in Renault for the lead engine. Refinement is indeed perceptible. Mercedes version (OM 626) is the first passenger diesel in the world to use steel pistons.Apart from entry level diesels in Mercedes cars, Smart - being the sibling of Renault Twingo - uses Renault engines as well.
