Reagan called it morning in America, the same thing. His goals were exactly like Trumps:Kill the New Deal, Reagan was obsessed with “Welfare Queens’ as though they were everywhere. Kill Medicare, Kill Social Security, kill the social benefits programs from the Great Society by LBJ.Kill the unions, develop offshore sourcing, yes it started with Reagan. I was in Beijing when he came there in 1982 and he signed the 1st trade deals which included dismantling US factories and sending them piece by piece to China.Kill the USSR which he helped but certainly did not do it on his own, it was clearly 70 years of rot and it imploded.Reagan did deals with Iran for funding the Contras, he did deals with the Saudis for oil, he did deals with the racists in the South who increasingly populated the Republican party.He had the highest deficit in history for the US govt prior to, who else, Donald J Trump.REAGAN WAS NOT A GREAT PRESIDENT, HE TOTALLY SCREWED THE AMERICAN WORKERS THAT HE LURED INTO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND THEY GOT NOTHING FOR IT, NOTHING.Ironically the ‘greatest’ American President since Reagan was Clinton. Everyone made money, he was really a Republican in Democrats clothing. He left with ZERO DEFICIT, ONLY PRESIDENT TO DO THAT IN OVER 100 YEARS. Hottest song, DON’T WORRY BE HAPPY as the economy was booming. And then Bush crashed it all.Do you see a pattern here as has been pointed out time after time, Republicans always seem to crash the economy, run up massive deficits and then Democrats have to come in and clean it up.Unlike the other answers that lavish praise on Reagan I leave you with 1 stat.UAW (United Auto Workers) MEMBERSHIP - 1980 2,500,000 THAT’S RIGHT 2.5 MILLIONUAW MEMBERSHIP - 2020 250,000 or a drop of 90%. Imagine all those families, the ‘rust belt’ was created by Ronald Reagan.Thanks Reagan from all the working class families you destroyed along with your other Republican friends.

When you get up in the morning should you pray first or read your bible first?I wonder about that sometimes.If just beginning to pray seems like starting to ask God for needs of yourself and others to be met, and yet it doesn’t seem like quite the right entry point, try first praying the Lord’s Prayer as found in Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 6:9-13 - New International Version It is the prayer that Lord Jesus taught to the disciples when they had asked Him, “Master, how should we pray?”A line that many of us were taught to say at the end of that prayer is, “For Thine art the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever, Amen.” I always include it because it reminds me of just Who God Is. It is a form of praise, and we know that “God is present in the praises of his people”. It’s about experiencing the presence and love of God.Entering into the state of praise may remind you of a verse or chapter in the Bible. Go read it, and meditate on it. Don’t read just with your mind, but with your heart. Prayer time is not the time to start studying the Scripture for information, teaching etc. It’s a time to meditate on it with your love and heart. Sometimes, maybe often, you will feel the presence of the Lord as you read.In general, let the Holy Spirit lead you when praying. We need to remember to not just rattle off what we have to say, but to listen for what He may impress upon you. One time, He even talked to me. I’d love that to happen again, but in my case, I must live by faith and every word of God as I find it in the Bible. AND, I need to seek God more often in prayer. The Bible tells us to pray unceasingly.Edit March 14, 2020: I just discovered a wonderful way to get into prayer. I was alone listening to Gregorian Chant music and…and found myself beginning to get into a lovely time of peace and devotion, so I began praying for quite a while. It was the best in a long time!

I am afraid i dont have faith in his leadership at all.It is my personal opinion - that his leadership is 99% Hype and 1% Effective as a whole.I rather see India becoming a Federation of States - with different states governing themselves in an Excellent, Good, Mediocre or a Bad Manner.Let us first see Internal ProblemsThe Economy - This is the greatest problem which is now eclipsed due to the Chinese Aggression but it is still there, underlying and waiting. How to Boost Consumer Demand, How to effectively reduce costs, How to reduce the Burden on the Consumers, How to manage to fulfil the huge loss of revenue that GST has brought upon us, How to correct the horrible damage of Demonetisation - Not one of these questions have been dealt with. Instead - More money to the Gareeb, More Money to the Farmers (At least promises of more money to both), More Loans without addressing Fears of Bankers and Borrowers are taking us nowhere.Healthcare and Education - Two classic examples of any Successful country is its Healthcare and Education system. Yet the COVID 19 has shown the lack of beds, rapid fire bills of lacs of rupees without any effective control, schools charging full tuition for fifth rate online classes. This issue has never been addressed, not once.Red Tape, Bureaucracy etc - This problem keeps happening. One Bank after another finds itself in more and more trouble because the Bureaucracy keeps pelting it with stones over the Unfair NPA Laws of the Country. It is IMPOSSIBLE TO CLASSIFY AN ACCOUNT AS NPA IN 90 Days during a Crisis like COVID 19 but also even without COVID 19. A Fairer time period would be 6–18 Months depending on the Situation. The NCLT is a Joke, The Bankruptcy Act is a Joke.Justice System - Gone from Decent to Bizzare. SC and HC are literally ruling the country with bizzare verdicts to govern the states. The Rath Yatra was an example.Every Politician has a pattern. Modis Pattern is simply to turn a deaf ear to criticism and to focus on praises. If he doesnt do anything worthy of praise, he will claim he did something worthy of praise and have his tame media extol his virtues.Once maybe in 2014 or 2015 or 2016 - Modi was different. He was realistic. He aimed for higher things. Today his only aim is to keep the Rabble Voters by their “Jai Shri Raam” Chants and to aspire to keep himself on level with MMS and blame the MMS Govt for anything that goes wrong with India including the Bizzare secret pact between UPA and China.Let us see the External Problems:-Of course i dont include China. That is our Armys baby and they will handle it. Modi cannot do anything about a bully or aggressor like China. Our Army will defend us with honor. So lets exclude that.However let us see the other things that have been going onOn Paper most Foreign Investment that has come from 2016 to India - have been to purchase pieces of Indian Companies and not to build or partner to manufacture or cater to a market. This means no jobs or employment generation.Despite all the talk and myth - 72 of the Chinese Companies who folded away during this period - 59 have gone to Vietnam and 13 to other countries. Not a Single Country has come to India due to the many fears that all Investors have. Modi has not addressed a single issue to assuage their fears.My biggest worry is that - TO SOLVE A PROBLEM - ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IS CRUCIAL.For instance - if one acknowledges that “OUR ECONOMY IS IN TROUBLE” - the next step will be “WHY IS IT IN TROUBLE” and once you acknowledge and find out why - the next step will be “HOW TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM AND LEAD THE ECONOMY BACK”However - if Modi acknowledges that “OUR ECONOMY IS IN TROUBLE” - any realistic economist will tell him “MISMANAGEMENT BY YOUR GOVT AND BIZZARE POLICIES” which will imply Criticism and Failure and Modi cannot bear that. So instead he dismisses good Economists and appoints lackeys who will say “MANMOHAN SINGH AND UPA AND NPA AND LOANS” and Modi will give a smile and subsequently decide - to correct the problem “BY ISSUING MORE LOANS WITHOUT COLLATERAL WHEN THE ECONOMY IS TWICE AS BAD”What Course Corrections can i suggest to him as a Citizen?(a) Please acknowledge that you have failed in certain things. Admission of Failure is a certain course to success. Acknowledge that Demo was a Disaster and get people who will help you out(b) Acknowledge that India needs to reassure Foreign Investors that they can meet the standards required and not just by talks. By Legislation and Action.(c) Admit to yourself that India has fifth rate manufacturing facilities and research and work to Improving them. Simple example:- A German Company invested Rs. 233 Crore to R & D to a Famous University Campus Research Centre in India for Research into Neural - Bio Mechanical Interface for muscle movement of paralyzed muscles (Excuse the jargon - i am blatantly copying the title). The First thing the R&D Team did when they got the money was to buy 4 Audis for its Bigwigs, A Splashy Office of 2 Storeys with Huge Cabins and even a golf carpet in each of them and after 4 years (2018)- they discovered ZILCH. The German Company publically called them Frauds in 2018 and 4 of the PHd students have been blacklisted for research grants from Germany or Austria or EU.(d) Appoint Good People around you - Some Incompetent yes men and lackeys have to go.
