PDF Editor FAQ

What are the main differences between ice skating and roller skating (spins and jumps)?

There are several aspects to thisFirst of all, as a tool, ice skate and inline skate have a lot of differences, so technically it's hard to substitute one with another if you go deep into performance details. For example, ice skates are much stiffer than roller skates (not only a blade and a frame, but also a boot), ice and asphalt have a lot of nuances as well. This differences lead to the situation where ice skates and inline roller skates are used as equipment in totally different activities/sports.Figure skating is probably considered the most intricate activity on ice using ice skates, and freestyle slalom is such an activity on asphalt using inline roller skates. These sports have so little in common, I would say skiers and snowboarders share more common moves and could better understand each other that freestyle slalom vs figure skating folks. This is inline freestyle slalom:We Slalom- ShanghaiThis is figure skating:Julia Lipnitskaya for InvadedAt the same time there are a lot of sports/activities that feel similar on ice skates and roller blades with a minor tweaks. Hockey is one of those. Slides are much more difficult on asphalt, but tight and fast turns are much more difficult on ice, so you have to adapt. It doesn't mean that pro ice hockey player will instantly beat the asses of a backyard inline hockey team, but he will be good for sure. However if you have inline freestyle slalom champion put on the ice to compete against figure skaters in their event he/she will totally suck. The opposite is also true.If we still boil down to the moves, you have to remember, that most intricate (and thus netting a lot of points) moves in inline freestyle slalom skating are performed on 1 foot and 1 wheel, either heel or toe (like one-wheels spinnings, transitions and so on, e.g. heel/toe seven), and there are no heel or toe moves in ice skating (except for using toes to spin in place), because obviously figure ice skates wouldn't skate if put on heel or toe (they've got toe picks for a reason). And the most challenging moves in ice skating are spin jumps, like the Axel. The are almost no jumps in inline freestyle skating for a good reason (less stiff boots, hard to jump from a toe, hard falls on concrete, etc).Still there are inline skates for a figure skating on concrete (essentially the ice skating boot with the rocker inline frame with a plug instead of the front wheel to imitate toe picks), but you wouldn't see them in a typical rollerblade shop. And you can throw some moves on those from corncrete (e.g. some toe-initiated jumps, like the Lutz). However it's much harder to perform inline-slalom-like moves on ice skates and as far as I know there are no feasible substitute for inline roller skates on ice.I could go on and on about maturity of inline skating, technical challenges and other disciplines in inline skating, but the most important point is – if you skate for leisure, then inline skates and ice skates feel very similar, if you go pro – they are totally different.

What are some Google (company) AdWords best practices?

Once you have set up conversion tracking, make sure you set the ad rotation to optimize for conversions.Rotate evenly is for when testing the ads out, but I've found that if you get enough impressions, starting off with rotate for clicks or rotate for conversions works just fine. One huge piece of advice that's really simple but people overlook (which will also raise your quality score):Only have one keyword for each ad group and make the ads highly specific to that keyword. Keywords would look like this if you are selling inline roller skates for example.+inline +roller +skates"inline roller skates"[inline roller slates]So that one keyword in 3 different match types per ad group.

Can I use inline roller skates on Indian roads (not so smooth). Are there any special tracks for skating in New Delhi region?

Better you go through this ........Welcome to Skater's Academy. There are fantastic experienced people writing there about skating .Follow this .......Good Luck :)
