Cutest? Tough call. I don't do “cute.” Maybe it's because I'm in high school.Still, on a recent field trip, I was opening a bottle of Coca Cola. I couldn't get the cap off for some reason. Next thing I know, the cap snaps off with some of the neck. I cut my finger a bit on the glass.Right away, three students swung into action. One is grabbing napkin while another is asking the other chaperone for a band aid.The third? The Korean war started about 5 years after WW2 ended. The rations that did not get used during WW2 were sent to Korea.In fact WW2 rations were still used in the 1960’s and early 70’s during the Vietnam war.Some of those rations even wound up in fallout shelters during the cold war. As a kid in high school we went on a field trip to the post office where the employees showed us the fallout shelter in the basement and some of the WW2 rations that were stored there.I’d bet there is an abandoned Fallout shelter somewhere that is still equipped with WW2 rations. I’ll bet the canned SPAM is still good.
