PDF Editor FAQ

Is it possible that large numbers of ineligible voters like illegal immigrants could be voting in our elections, especially thinking of California?

One first must understand the voter registration, and voting process, in California, to answer that question, with any veracity. From 1978 to 2011, I was a registered voter in California, and I never missed an election. Not even a school board election.First thing to know, is that there is no proof of citizenship required to register to vote. You fill out a form, you mail it in, and the start mailing you sample ballots a short time before every election. You can either apply for an absentee ballot, a permanent absentee ballot, or go to your polling place, to vote. Due to disabilities, my father and stepmother, both applied for, and were granted PERMANENT absentee ballot status. It was easier for them, to fill out their ballots at home, and mail them in. The only verification in the process is that you had to sign the inner envelope, and the Registrar's office would then compare your signature, against that on your original voter registration form.In 2002, when my father passed away, I notified the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters, that he had passed away. There was a California gubernatorial election shortly after that. His absentee ballot still came. There simply was not enough time to get his name out of the system, before the ballots had to be mailed out. Dad was a longtime Republican. His wife a lifelong Democrat. After the election, she bragged, that dad had voted Democrat for the first time, since JFK was elected, in that election. I notified the Registrar AGAIN of his date of death (7/8/2002), hoping that they would invalidate "his" vote, cast by his wife. I never heard another word about it.Then, in December 2009, his wife passed away. As the successor trustee and executor of their estate, it was my duty to again inform the Registrar's office of HER death. I even included her death certificate. Nearly a year later, I received her 2010 California Gubenatorial absentee ballot, at my home (the new address of the estate, since their home was up for sale). Again, I notified the registrar's office. They said that they would fix the problem. In 2012, I received her Presidential ballot. In between there, somewhere, I'd received her local city/school elections ballot, too. Again, I mailed another $17 certified copy of her death certificate, to the registrar's office. It was around this time that I moved to Oklahoma, but still maintained my home in California. My son and daughter in law live there. Finally, in 2016, we had the first election that we did not receive her absentee ballot. Granted, we always did the right thing, and ran those ballots through the shredder. But, I just as easily could have returned the favor of the voter fraud, that she committed, in 2002, by casting her ballots. But, I wouldn't do such a thing. I believe in "playing by the rules".Since no proof of citizenship is required, to register, it is difficult to say, just how many ineligible voters are registered, and/or, how many of them actually do vote. So, even if no ineligible voters actually do vote, the system is ripe for fraud, in many ways, and I'm not one to believe, that in a society, where people will rape, rob, burglarize, and embezzle, from their fellow man, that these same types of people, will not stoop to voter fraud. I just have only circumstantial evidence that it is likely. HIGHLY likely. You see, when we moved here, to Oklahoma, my wife and I, (she being a naturalized citizen) both had to prove citizenship, and residence in this state, and must show our I.D. in order to vote. If we vote absentee, we must have our signatures in our ballots notarized. And while a bit inconvenient, this is the way it SHOULD BE.

Is CBD legal in the US?

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) issued a Final Rule on the coding of marijuana extracts a few months ago. Unfortunately some misleading media stories and social media postings lead quite a few people to panic at reports that CBD was being banned under this new rule.THE SKY IS NOT FALLING. THE FINAL RULE PUBLISHED BY DEA DID NOT CHANGE THE LEGAL STATUS OF CBD. THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE BY A SCHEDULING ACTION WHICH HAS NOT OCCURRED.HIA has carefully reviewed this with our legal advisors and discussed it with industry experts. While there are some differing opinions on the effect of the rule, there is general agreement that yesterday's ruling did not change the status of CBD. Here are some important facts to know: Cannabidiol is not listed on the federal schedule of controlled substances Sec. 7606 of the Farm Bill defines hemp as distinct from marijuana and does not treat it as a controlled substance when grown under a compliant state program Despite these facts, DEA has stated that CBD is a controlled substance previously HIA strongly disagrees with the DEA position and is ready to take action to defend should DEA take any action to block the production, processing or sale of hemp under Sec. 7606 The Final Rule published on December 14th was not a scheduling action but rather an administrative action related to record keeping The code assigned to "marihuana extract" in the rule is "Administration Controlled Substances Code Number" for the purposes of identification of substances on registration forms The rule was originally published as a proposed rule in 2011 BEFORE the Farm Bill and didn't mention CBD or hemp DEA confirmed to a reporter from the Denver Post that this was an administrative action and did not change the status of CBD in federal law So what does this all mean? We believe the DEA rule on "marihuana extracts" was not directed at hemp derived CBD products and has been in the works for 5 years. HIA also believe there is no imminent change in DEA policy regarding hemp derived CBD products.HOWEVER, WE DO HAVE SOME SERIOUS CONCERNS ABOUT THE FINAL RULEDEA's addition of unscheduled substances to the Administration Controlled Substances Code List is problematic. Substances that have not been properly scheduled should not be on the list as this can create confusion in the marketplace and also result in other federal agencies improperly treating legal substances as controlled. For now, we want to urge everyone to calm down and continue with your businesses. We also hope that in future, reporters will take the time to get the facts before posting misleading stories about hemp and CBD.CLICK HERE TO BUY CBD HEMP OIL PRODUCTS
