In this case, she will make eye contact, listen carefully, and think before she speaks. She will be quiet, but she’ll meaningfully contribute to discussion.When she is disinterested, her eyes will likely wander around the room away from you, and her responses will seem forced and cut short.Ignoring you or flaking out on plans after the date.This one is especially important I think. Even if it seems like she had fun on the date, if she doesn’t extend the invitations or make plans to see you again, bad sign. The biggest flaw in the dating scene in India, is that there is no dating scene in India.India might pretty much be the lamest in the dating scene around the world.People say “I love you” instead of “I like you”.The steps in a normally involved in dating are Dating -> “I love you” -> Relationship (at least a year) -> Marriage.In India it is “I love you” -> Relationship -> Dating (same as relationship) -> Marriage.People have no concept of dating being an exploratory phase. They assume they are going to have babies together at the onset.Men have no clue how to date. Women are even more closed minded due to the rampant hits they get from strange men. This creates a vicious closeted scenario where no one is actually dating.In this toxic environment people marry the first person that suits them.There is no concept of meeting people outdoors because there are no outdoors in big cities. Hikes and lovely beaches anyone?All of this results in Indians being extremely desperate to find any one, any where. Look at the question: Has any couple met on Quora and fallen in love?It’s literally overrun by Indians. Some of them found their “true love” on their first meeting itself. Some of them already know that the other person is going to be the mother/father of their babies in less than 3 months after joining the site. 3 months! Jeez.There are barely any answers that are from people outside India. One of those suggests that it’s just better to close the website and meet people outside. Another one says that Quora hasn’t even been here long enough, for people to fall in love. Hah! You underestimate Indians my friend.And that, is how fucked up the dating system is in India.

Eating stinky foods before the date. Come on, mate. You’ve finally managed to get a date after a four month drought. Can’t the all-you-can-eat crab feast wait till next week?Answering phone calls on your date in an attempt to look popular or successful. Barking ‘buy low, sell high’ into your phone will not impress her. We all know you’re probably talking to your mum and not your stockbroker.I don’t care if your ex was Glenn Close; Do not, under any circumstances, speak ill of her, using words like ‘bitch’ and ‘psycho’ and ‘gold-digger.’ It’s undignified. Not to mention you just end up looking bitter and a very poor judge of character.In the name of all that is holy, please don’t say ‘You can order anything on the menu that you like. Price is no object.’ For starters, you’re implying that she’s a pauper who relies on the kindness of strangers to feed herself decent meals. You’re also now forcing her to think about something that wasn’t an issue until you just made it one.Check for food in your teeth. Before the date and at various intervals throughout the date.Boasting is bad. You might be well traveled, highly educated, an empathetic charity worker or a self-made man, but a date is not a job interview. No need to rattle it all off in one night. In other words, don’t jump out of the cake in a mankini; give her little gifts to open, incrementally.The goodnight kiss. I would skip it altogether on a first date, even if the chemistry was great and you both had a fabulous time. Here’s why: Skipping it is win-win. If she wasn’t yet ready for a kiss, you win. If she was ready, you still win, because you’ve respected her boundaries but left her wanting more.
