Dear Sahilji Baranwalji,One thing we shud understand is Modi or any other govt functionary can't and shudnot disclose highly confidential information that can potentially damage a bigger cause .But we like ordinary people can read between the lines and arrive at the truth .And that is good enough. Modi cud have declared external Emergency as per the constititution and postponed the Lok Sabha Elections by one year . He didn't want to do that. Nor he really at heart wanted a war to start. But while dealing with pakistan he made it clear that war will be started if Abhinadan is not returned .That is the real leadership India always needs .; Wherein all citizens are safe and secure and also feel safe and secure and proud all the time and are sure that thier leader will never get India into an unwanted disastrous war. But if Modi had not conveyed to Pakistan that not returning of Abhinadan wud automatically start a war ,the stupid pakistani ruling Coterie wudnot have returned him for long . Now just imagine how proud Abhinadan his parents wife and children and the whole Armed Forces must be feeling ,that Modi threatened Pakistan that the war will be started if Abhinadan is not returned immeditately. One Indian pilot in captivity cud bring down the ruling pakistani Coterie to its knees that too within just 2 days .???? In short Modi govt has replied pakistani ruling Coterie in the language they can understand for all times and not replied by stupid candlelight marches and made it amply clear thier nonsense and madness will never be tolerated unlike all previous Prime Ministers tolerated for last four decades or whatever and called out thier nuclear threats bluff also..Pakistans not courteous to release him but forced to release him.India brought pressure on Pakistan thru president Trump ,Saudi prince Salman,Dubai ruler Shaikh.( Pakistan' s financial grand fathers ,great grand fathers globally ).They agreed to talk to Pakistan Imran Khan subject to the condition India will not start the war after Abhinadan' s return to which Modi agreed .As indians are basically peace loving people..Modi also made it very clear to all world powers the destruction of Balakot terroists camps was an act in self defense and was not an offensive aggression in view of Pulwama attacks .,China kept neutral asking both to use restraint.Russia offered to mediate.France , UK pushed for a UNSC resolution for ban on Azhar .There was nobody to side with pakistan except Turkey .Modi made it clear to them that any delay in unconditional release of Abhinadan will end up in India declaring war on Pakistan.Pakistan was already bankrupt.Pakistan never expected so much support to India and no one to support them .So pakistani ruling Coterie didnot want to invite war just for sake of one pilot that too when totally financially bankrupt and isolated in the global sceanario.So pakistan released him without delay .So it is not courtsey but startegic diplomacy by taking help of world powers for a positive cause by a peace. loving nation ..Release of Abhinadan so fast without any harm to him was a great accomplishment for India...Modi was ready to start a war if Abhinadan was not released ..So his release is a great miracle for all.So Abhinadan is a hero bcoz not releasing him wud have started the war ; releasing him stopped the war.And India ensured with the help of world powers so fast.Such a situation had not arisen in the past ever..Abhinadan is the main hero of build up and deescalation of border build up both .Suppose you were the Prime Minister don't you find the above logic of confidentiality perfectly in order ??Suppose a relative of yours is discovered with last stage cancer suddenly. Do the doctors disclose it to the patient ,,??If the doctors disclose it the immune systems of the patient will collapse further immeditately and what ever chances the patient of survival immeditately becomes zero.If Modi goes and tells the same above words to the whole world will it not hurt sensibilities of the pakistani ruling Coterie ???By humuliating a relative or a problematic neighbor publicly or openly is India going to get benefeited in any way ??!It is said you can change your wife can ,change your house , but a nation can't change its neighbor and has to live with him for eternity.So when you are destined to live with your neighbor for eternity why not live in better terms by making adjustments ???And coming to the second part : Any party or politican is not a saint who do lot many hundreds of good things to devotees and don't expect anything in return .So if Modi and BJP and NDA have done a good job in last 5 years in making India a better and safe place to live and they expect that people return them to enable continue the good work, is there anything wrong in it ???? Very shortly Elections notification will be issued and dates will be declared .We Indians definitely wudnot have liked Abhinadan in pakistani captivity and Modi going around for poll canvassing .But Modi started poll canvassing after he did his 200 % with Trump ,Saudi prince Salman,Dubai shaikh , France ,UK, Russia everybody and he started his poll canvassing after he did his job totally.May be indians came to know it little later .Compare what Modi has done to what happened in 2008 Taj and Oberoi hotel attacks . The then stupid Prime Minister Manmohan Singh took 3 days to send NSG commondos from Delhi to Mumbai.The result 170 dead and 500 injured .Manmohan Singh didnot approve a plan from our valiant Armed Forces bto avenge the attacks even which emboldened these mad jihadis and thier patrons ruling elite of pakistanis for future attacks.And the super defacto Prime Minister of UPA for 10 years 2004–2014 that foreign born lady what was she doing when innocents were falling like flies in above attacks ???What were the great IIT graduates,Oxford, Stanford, Cambridge,Rhodes, London school of Economics graduates in the Congress and his Cabinet doing then ??? when Taj and Oberoi hotels were under attack ??? Playing golf is it ???What was the late Chief Minister of Maharashtra Vilasrao Deshmukh doing for 3 days when Taj and Oberoi hotels were under attacks ???This is what I call fake leadership . When people need you most for immeditate action you are missing in action. Is it for this calamity you elected him as PM ???So let us realise Modi canvassing for polls after he did his duty much more than any other past Prime Ministers is absolutely in order .Nothing to grudge or comment upon negatively.Also without belittling Vajapayee govt : How badly Kandhaar hijack of Air India flight was handled by Vajapayee govt then that led to the release of Azhar back to Pakistan from kashmir jail and he started Jihadi University there and we are paying even today . Vajapayee govt didn't have the ecosystem Modi has built up .Did Vajapayee govt avenge the parliament attacks in any form ever ???Is it not the case that all these not avenging the Jihadi nonsenses has emboldened them for planning new attacks ??? Some Indians are saying Abhinandan was released as per Geneva convention ??? Since when pakistan started following all Geneva convention norms ??? If it is so why over 53 prisoners of 1971 Bangldesh war times are languishing in Pakistani jaiks ??? Why they are not released even after 48 years ??? Why Captain Saurabh kalia was tortured to death during Kargil war ?? You have asked 2 questions. Lets see first question:Did AP CM Chandrababu Naidu (CBN) commit a mistake by getting out of the NDA?Answer: No. Why? Rather than I forcing my opinion on you (& readers), I’ll lay down the facts that happened in last 4 years. You decide what CBN should have done.When AP state got divided, there are 18 promises made in parliament to help the state get to level-playing field with other neighboring states. 5 of these promises are very important. They are:Special Category Status for 10years.Polavaram construction - declared as national project. This dam is lifeline of AP.Funds for Capital construction - specifically infrastructure like roads, electricity & important administrative buildings like assembly, high court, secretariat etc.Package in the lines of ‘Bhundhekhand’ for 7 backward districts of AP.Center to bear revenue deficit of AP that occurred during the division year. It comes nearly to 16000 crores.Apart from above 5, below 2 became sentimental for AP ppl:Center promised 13 educational institutions to AP. Institutes like IIT, IIM, AIIMS etc.A new railway zone separated from Eastern railway zone with Visakhapatnam as headquartersLets see how center is doing in all these promises:Special Category Status was denied by BJP in 2016 itself stating it won’t be extended to any state hence forth. For this, all opposition parties in AP criticized TDP for still staying in NDA & not fighting with center. In this instance, CBN took a bullet for BJP. May be because he thought all the remaining promises are important too. He convinced AP ppl that spl category might be out of hands for center. Nevertheless, he took people’s concerns to Delhi multiple times. Venkaiah Naidu (current Vice President) also forced BJP higher ups to compensate AP in some or the other way. For which, Jaitely agreed to give Special Package - which would be cash equivalent of ~23000 crores. But nothing was given to till date. Moreover, 8 other states are having special category status extended till 2027.Capital city funds - After multiple requests & letters, they released 1500 crores in these 4 years. This would not be enough for constructing good high court & assembly. Forget about infrastructure like roads & other things. On the other hand Patel’s statue in Gujarat was given 2500 crores.Polavaram - An example of central government’s dedication towards irrigation projects - there are 21 national projects now. Not even one is set to get completed in next few DECADES. Knowing this, NITI AYOG suggested AP govt to take up Polavaram while Center reimburses whatever state spent. CBN dedicated significant time for it & it is now on track for completion by next year (which would be a record in independent India). But, center is not reimbursing the amount with necessary speed. AP govt spent ~7000 crores in last 3 years. Center reimbursed 5000 crores that too after months of bureaucratic harassment. Major money component for this project is R&R (vacating ppl from villages where water is stored). It costs 28000 crores. Center did not respond about when it will be releasing these funds.Package in the lines of Bundhelkhand - Bundhelkhand got ~10k crores. If 7 backward districts in AP were to receive package proportionate to population, it should get ~20k crores. Center gave 700crores only for 2 years with 50crores for each district. This cannot even be named as special package because all other backward districts in country get this amount.Revenue deficit - Even CAG gave a report stating APs revenue deficit is 16000 crores. But for Mr. Jaitley it is just 3000 crores. Only God knows what his formula is!!Educational institutions - Out of 13, center ‘sanctioned’ 11 (thanks to Venkiah again. He spoke to relevant ministers to get paper work done quickly). CBN gave land for all these 11 with lightening speed. It costs 11000 crores for completing construction of these campuses. Center released 650 crores till now. At this rate, when will the other amount be released? When will we AP ppl have these institutes??Railway zone - No one, I mean literally no one has any objections for new railway zone. Its not even related to finance. But, nobody knows why BJP won’t give railway zone to AP!!In last 4 years, CBN went to Delhi 29 times to ask for above requests. Reply from BJP - Modi stopped giving CBN appointment from 2017 January. Moreover, he (Modi) started discussions with TDPs opposition (YCP) in state. YCP leader Jagan has 11 criminal cases on him & was in jail for 16months. Perhaps, Modi thought if YCP comes to power, he can have AP in his hands like he planned for TamilNadu.And I should tell you - we AP ppl are not the kind who gets all riled up for caste or religion or cow issues. We are angry with BJP because, like Congress in 2014, BJP has also ignored all our above demands.Currently, both AP ppl & TDP are vexed with Modi. And finally CBN made a decision to come out.I would also like to give the outlines of how CBNs behaviour is when he is part of NDA.Support given to NDA by CBN in these 4 years:Vehemently supported Modi in the times of demonetization. At this time, not even BJP CMs are ready to openly support Modi’s decision. When Modi called MP CM to chair the committee for digital economy, he (MP CM) did not accept. But, CBN stepped up.There is lot of contention from TDP MPs for Rajya sabha seat. But, CBN gave it to Suresh Prabhu a BJP MP because Modi & Co requested him.Talked highly about Modi in every foreign trip he made for attracting investments.When Modi asked CBN to talk with Mamata during presidential election, CBN persuaded Mamata.BJPs local leaders went a bit far in their comments against CBN. But, CBN stayed quite & didn’t even bother higher ups.Finally, one thing is clear for AP ppl about Modi - he is not what he appears to be. All the acts of crying on parliament steps, donning chappal to old women - all these are silly stunts. In his heart, all he cares about is bringing BJP to power in every state. Thats his first love. Country comes only second. I am sure country is also learning about this fact. This is explained in his behavior. For every state assembly election he spends months campaigning. He thought of removing CBN & bringing YCP to power in 2019. Thus he can control AP in every way. CBN kind of sensed it & came out of NDA.And as per your second question: It is too generic. Like every human being CBN also did some mistakes. But if you consider the good & bad in a balance sheet, CBNs good far outweighs the bad.
