You must first join the British Army and after a few years of busting your balls ask permission to apply to transfer to the regiment, you apply to apply. No Special Forces take recruits direct from the public.SAS (R) accepts male volunteers aged 34 and below from any part of the Regular or Reserve Armed Forces (RN, RM, Army and RAF). If it was a single event that had a genuine, recognised, and defined stressful event, then it is worth speaking to recruitment staff; otherwise, I'm sorry to say, the British Army (and, before you look elsewhere, any other branches of the British military) has no desire for your services.If you still wish to serve your country in a real way, look into jobs related to law enforcement, fire and rescue, or (and I beg you) ambulance services; there's plenty of people who played CoD and want to carry an SA80, there's considerably fewer people willing to work an 80+ hour week dealing with drunks, drugs, and bodily fluids.
