I took my son to the Dr for some kind of Wellness check. I believe he was about 4 at the time. He had a very advanced vocabulary for his age, but even I was dumbfounded by the following conversation.*Dr* - “Hey buddy, how are you?”*Son* - (loud, dramatic sigh) “Me depressed"The Doc raised his eyebrow at me & I burst out laughing. Depressed? What on earth could a 4 yr old be DEPRESSED about? And who taught him that word anyway?The Doctor, always a very respectful man, asked my son what he was depressed about. My little Mr 4 went on quite a diatribe about the struggles of toddlerhood. Mom took his Elmo away, Grandma was sick. Grandpa worked all the time… turned out he really did have a good grasp on what the word meant! Though, I never did discover where he'd learned it!Btw, the Doctor was AMAZING and talked the little dude through all his troubled thoughts. I miss that man!

A joey is an infant, but not a baby.As for baby kangaroos… well.The kangaroo pouch is not where the baby is born, it is where the baby is raised.And to reach the pouch, the baby must be born, and crawl its way up to the pouch.So. Mr. Sinister hates Apocalypse. HAAAAAAAAAAAATES him.Despite Apocalypse literally creating him, Mr. Sinister views Apocalypse’s approach to evolution as barbarism. Mr. Sinister wants to carefully run experiments, Apocalypse just wants to kill everyone in sight and then assume anyone who lives must be worthy.Mr. Sinister’s very first act as a horseman of Apocalypse when he was transformed in 1859 was to immediately betray him.And then, the next time Apocalypse rose, in 1899, Mr. Sinister immediately betrayed him again.And then he obsessively spent a century slowly manipulating his ultimate weapon to kill Apocalypse to be born.And while sure, Mr. Sinister has spent over a century planning the downfall of Apocalypse with his genetic weapon… he also just tends to screw Apocalypse over just for fun.In this comic, Mr. Sinister impersonated Apocalypse, using the four horsemen to kidnap Jean and Scott. Basically for relatively little reason (he was promised some genetic material from the future by Stryfe). Yeah, he sent literally the entirety of all the X-Men related teams to go attack Apocalypse as more or less a prank on both of them.There’s little Mr. Sinister likes more than screwing with Apocalypse.
