Hillary Clinton is not anything resembling a techie - and if you look at her published emails a number of them have been forwarded saying “Please Print”. She would much prefer to use paper - and as the FBI report made clear she wasn’t even comfortable upgrading her Blackberry to a new model. She, certainly at the time, had little common sense or understanding regarding IT issues. (If her opponent was anyone younger or tech savvier than Trump this technophobia could be used as a case against her).What she wanted was a single Blackberry which could be used to check her own personal emails - and be used to check her working non-classified emails. A good IT team in the State Department could have provided their boss this. Unfortunately the IT team in the State Department when she took over was pretty awful to the point that use of Gmail accounts for State Department business when sending non-classified emails was found to be routine.So she went with the company that hosted her husband’s emails to see if they could be more useful. And they were. Slightly. But not very. (Incidently the BleachBit wasn’t Clinton - it was Platte River Networks trying to cover up that they’d messed up her instructions to only keep her personal emails for 60 days after her work related ones had been turned over to the State Department by her lawyers thanks to a FOI request).

I have lived in New Zealand for 4 years so I can talk about the NZ system being less corrupt than ours and reasons for that.Any country is made up of not boundaries but its people. While boundaries keep changing time to time, people are what defines a country and its culture. Read the incidents I noted while being there and see how different they are from us.I landed in NZ on 30th January 2008 and on 12th February 2008 I heard the first honk/horn on road. How much do we honk every day?Give Way: A term most of us Indians never heard before or are not aware of. While driving if you are merging to a main road or taking a turn (left or right) you always have to give way to the coming vehicles and only when the road is available to you empty, you merge or take the turn (almost all of NZ & Indian traffic rules are same).Once I was out late night and walking back to the home, it must be around 3 in the morning and there was hardly any cars passing by on the roads. After walking a while came a Traffic Signal and I saw a car stopped at the Red Light. There were no police, no cameras and yet the driver was honest enough to stop at the signal when it demanded. How many red lights do we jump everyday?I used to drive to my office and cross many traffic signals on my way. I always wondered what would happen if the Traffic Signal is not working and guess what, it happened. One fine day I was driving to my office, I was at the biggest traffic signal of my route which leads to the National Highway and the signal was not working. What do you expect from people? In India, its a chaos, in fact its a chaos even at working signals. Anyway, none of the sides were moving their vehicles and they waited patiently, just then one side started moving and after a while it stopped itself, then they waited again and some other side started moving and stoped after a while. This continued and there was no traffic jam, funny thing is there were no cops. People were smart enough to know that they should let go the side which has more traffic. I had no idea what was the Bus registration number or anything else other than the route number and the time I got off from the bus. I called the authorities and told them that I have dropped my phone in the bus giving them the route number and the location with time when I got off. I got a call from them after an hour saying that the driver have found the phone and I can collect it from their office. Can you expect that to happen in India?6. I have seen my local friends there being worried about the driving test for License. They have to buy a thick book costing $600/- to study for the exam and almost none of them cleared it in the first attempt and for those who did (whether in second or third attempt) it was party time as we get happy here clearing SSC CGL or some entrance exam. How did you get your DL?These are some basic things which we usually ignore or overlook doing in our daily lives and what does it cost?A chaotic life for us and all the people around us.Now, the reason that such things happens in NZ is not that they have a proper law and order, it is so because people there are more aware of basic things and follow them. They know that crossing a Red Signal is wrong and they should follow the traffic rules. They are made to help us not rule or irritate us.You should have guessed by now that such countries are less corrupt because of their people. They choose politicians who are not corrupt, they are not influenced by money, alcohol or other means to vote for a particular party.You can always complain that we have only such leaders or that system is so complex and that people do not have even basic things required for daily life but whose fault is that. We got freedom in 1947 and even in 2018 we fighting elections based on caste, religion and communities instead of development.I agree that India is a huge country with a big population but are we not responsible enough to find a solution?Only voting is enough and that too to corrupt politicians?We all have to understand basic things and should follow them in our daily life to lead as an example. When everyone will start doing this, Life will be a lot easier and system will be lesser corrupt.You should stand at a Traffic Signal in India just for 5 minutes and see how people are driving like crazy headless chicken. You will get your answer that why India is still corrupt. We are more self centric than patriotic or even a good citizen!!
