My mom is taking courses towards her BSN and she has so many resources helping her complete her classes. There is a coach (a student that is close to graduating) that checks in with her every couple of days during her first few weeks then once a week as she goes along. She can also call her coach anytime or set up video chats. She's going to WGU but there are lots of programs like that. They may be less rigorous on standards getting in but make no mistake in thinking that the online courses will be easier. Sometimes they are more difficult just to ensure you know the material. I'm not exactly sure how they do clinical for people that go the online route. You will be getting hands on experience at some point. Expect it to very strict in policy/procedure while at a facility. They were based in the U.K. On their days off they were able to travel to other Eastern Europe counties on a day trip or a long weekend. I know that time was life changing for her.
