What were some of the unforgettable incidents from your school life?

Welcome to the ‘Middle Class Student diaries’ *Part 2*1.) Bunking normal classes and hiding in the washroom till the period ends. Even toppers used to do that. For example- me :p2.) Coughing in the exam hall to signal our friends for answers. Tell me you must have done that at least once, right?3.) Playing games when class is going on.4.) Oh I can never forget this one. Every time I tried to remember a particular answer, songs started playing in my mind.5.) Even after being a topper, I always submitted my assignments at the last moment.6.) Asking irrelevant questions to teachers in order to avoid a boring lecture.7.) Remember that ‘Mini party moment’ when the other teacher used to come in class to announce ‘Your teacher is absent today.’8.) That lie we used to tell when we didn’t do our homework- “ Ma’am, I’ve completed the work but I forgot the notebook.” and then our teacher used to say, “You don’t forget your lunchbox, how can you forget your notebook?” Kuch bhi matlab? Where’s the logic?9.) Signing our tests on behalf of our parents especially when we used to get less marks in our tests.10.) Annual Day preparations- The best of all!! Do I need to explain the fun we used to have during the preparation days?Due to overwhelming response on my previous ‘Chetna Sachdeva's answer to Why do students get bored on online classes? ‘ answer, I decided to make *Part 2* and here we are.Do you guys want *Part 3*?Take care ❤️Chetna ✍️

What is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you at work or in class?

It happend when I was in class 11th.I studied in Hindi medium school till 10th standard and got decent marks in board exams. Then we all ( friend's group of 5) decided to move in an English medium convent school, because studying in English medium school and speaking fluent English was sort of superior thing in the place I've been grown up and actually in most of North India. :PPSo finally moved to a convent school. My life changed like a free flying bird who was suddenly caged and that too without feeds. I undergone the hectic schedule, strict rules-regulations and found myself stuck between fluent English speaking teachers and students. Hell!I felt to be landed up in some other planet ! Really !!! Although Neither mine fault nor theirs !Consequently a big inferiority complex grew within me. I started cursing myself for the decision. Most of times in class I used to stare at silly things like roof, walls , girls , my crush , a lady teacher's daily changing saree colour etc etc. :DAnd then my 1st periodical exam came and I managed to be the only student failing in the English and same things replicated in half-yearly exams too. I Was feeling like "You know nothing Jon snow!"(Thank god, game of thrones wasn't there that time, otherwise I was sure to be trolled as my school's JON SNOW..:P)So to overcome difficulty in subject I purchased one 'guide book" with ready-made answers in that. ( but it was strictly banned to bring in school). One day by fault I brought the book in school and a boy sitting near to me saw it. And then happened the shit. --As mam entered in the class , he instantly got up and said... Ma'am ye N.D.(publisher name) guide le ke aaya hai. ( ma'am he brought up N.D guide in class) .Ma'am laughed and in sarcastic mode quoted -- Ye N.D. padhe ya M.D. pass nhi ho skta !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(whether he read N.D or M.D. , can't get passed !!!!!!!!!!)Whole class laughed at me , and I felt like a thunder striked me, my blood froze to stage of ice and my heart forgot to pump and I resisted a drop of tear from angle of my eye and realised most embarrassing moment of my school life.P.S. - I scored a decent 70% in annual exam.!!And I'm a doctor and even did my MD :)Edit- thank you guys for such overwhelming response...I am amazed and humbled to know that this story has inspired some people.

What is your most embarrassing moment at school?

So I was in 7th class and those mini video-games were in great trend back then. But there was one more trend that our parents used to drag us through..”Agar exams me marks aye, tabhi video game milega”..(You can have the video game only if the marks are good). It was a decent bait, so me and my elder brother had the deal done. We gave our unit tests and got good marks. Although that was a loss to my father's pocket but still he kept his promise and bought us the gadget we wanted. It was fun playing games in that pocket sized device. Gradually, we started spending more time on that and less time studying. So my mother got really angry and warned us to break it the moment she grab it.We were afraid that she might throw it away, and because it's security was a priority, we planned to take it to the school for the next few days. There had to be my turn on every alternate day as decided. My brother did the opening ceremony and I followed.Bhaiya was like pro in hiding things (and facts), so he was by no means getting caught. Then came the day when I had to do the formality. I was really very excited, but at the same time a lot nervous. So I started off with hiding it under the textbooks, that I intentionally placed horizontally to occupy more space in my bag.The bag was set and so was I. We reached the school on time and the day started normally. I was busy doing my own stuff when this one girl in the adjacent row asked me for my homework notebook. By this time I had totally forgot that I was carrying a video-game in my bag that could even have suspended me for a week or so. But no, I had to take the register out in a hurry. I grabbed it and was pulling it out when suddenly I lost the grip. It fell down back on the video-game which pressed one of its button. The “ON” button. :/It started ringing in a mild volume which the others students failed to sense out of noise. It was quite audible to me. So, I somehow managed to turn it off, but wait I had already lost the battle.I was glad that no one else heard it but this girl man..this girl heard it and Damn! She turned into a CBI and started interrogating. For your idea, she looked somewhat like the left one. Don't fall to her sincere looks, she's more of a “Madam ki pari”:She: Kuch baj raha hai na Gopal? (Something is ringing na Gopal?)Me: ha haha…nahi to (No No)She: Kuch to hai. Tu phone laya hai na? (There's definitely something, you have a phone right?)Me: No way, we are too poor to afford a mobile phone. (One of my emotional traps)She: Wo to hai…pr maine kuch suna (That's right, but I heard something)Me: (God, the insult)But I didn't.She paused for a while, all confused and I was already proud of turning the odds to my court. But I was wrong. This girl took no time in pulling my bag to her side and searching every bit of it. While I was struggling to pull it back, she had her hands on the game already. Her expressions changed so quickly that I got no time to predict her reflexes. She stood up, with my video-game in her hand and ran straight to the staff room. I was pissed, a lot already, as everyone started asking as what has happened. I knew what shit I had invited. So after a few minutes, this nerd returned, but this time with a smile on her face, and no video-game in her hand. How calm she was then, that she silently came to her seat and sat all quiet. I didn't ask her anything, karma had always been a bitch I knew. Then entered the hitting machine of our school, Mr X, all red. He used to kick, slap, and punch the students, sometimes even without any reason. I was already trembling with his sight. Not just me, the entire class knew by this time that it's probably Gopal's last day in the school. My asshole benchmate amplified the level of terror whispering “Aaj to tu gya” (You are gone today), but shut up bro, I already knew it.My body already started preparing for the pain which it was about to get for the next few minutes. He came to my seat, slapped me a couple of times and dragged me out of the class. Now I was in the corridor. Other teachers were already at their doors to Netflix and chill.Mr X slapped me a few more times. I thought may be he is going to slap me only, but it was his warm up. His famous kicks, punches, and what not followed later on. I was crying in a hope that may be, he'll have some mercy. Though I was acting only, but it was paining. That day I knew that acting and shit is not my cup of tea.He started taking me to every class, where, this man pumped other teachers also to beat me. And guess what, some of them actually beat the shit out of me (Some people are too vulnerable). Having gone through so much in the last 30 minutes, my tears even got dry. My face was showing the crying expressions but there were no tears, so I was beaten up more….for over-acting.The video game was siezed and was held by the principal. She was a nice lady. She didn't touch me. But she kept asking me the reason for bringing it to the class. I didn't want more punches, so I thought may be denying to the fact that it was mine, can save me. I did the same. She asked me to turn it on. So I turned it On. She got angry. I had no idea about why.She said:“Haaaaannnnnn, to ye tumhara nahi hai…..pr on kaise hota hai ye pta hai?” (So it's not your's but you know how to turn it on, han?)And I was like, WTF! The game has a button on it with “ON” written on it. Even a nursery kid would have turned it on. But since I could not agrue, she got me kicked and punched a few more times (by Mr X). I was very exhausted. So I stood numb and waited for her orders.Principal: Ok, so if you want this video-game back, bring your parents tomorrow sharp at 12 noon.I didn't like this “To be continued…” plot twist. But I was sure that I was in no way bringing my parents to get that piece of shit back. I really loved it, but I loved my life more. That was a lot of trauma in one day and I was in no mood of dragging my family into this matter…:pI was sent back to the class but there also some people wanted masala. They wanted me to tell the poses I was beaten up in. That was one day filled with a lot of drama, emotions, and action, all stuffed in a short 45-minute movie. The way I was taken to every junior and senior class and insulted was something that embarrassed me a lot. The matter however didn't end here. My parents did come to know about this matter. How? That I'll share some other time, along with my brother's reaction on the same.Moral of the Story:Video-games without the batteries are not injurious to health.Never do your homework on time.:)Keep smiling, take care and let me know if you have anything school-time notorious event to share..;)Edit1: For those who wanted the second part, it has been published. You can check it on my timeline..:)
