Hii Quorans…I believe I am eligible to answer as I have experienced and been successful.Well I was not aware about this Vidyalakshmi portal till May’2017. As I was searching for some Education Loan and all…I came to know about this portal of Central Government from Quora itself.So, my experience goes like this:My brother got his allotment in IMU to do MBA. So, I was doing all the paperworks for him to avail loan.So, on behalf of him I registered in Vidyalakshmi portal. After logging in we have to fill up the Application form where we have to fill the details of Student as well as Co-applicant (Co-applicant either parent/guardian). You have to upload the marksheet of the last course that you have done and also the allotment/admission letter after filling the application form.After filling up the Application form, go to the home page where there you will find options to apply to the bank online of your preference. You can choose only 3 banks in one User ID. I have applied to Bank of Baroda (where all our family members have account), ICICI & Bank of India. You will get these banks responses within 48 hours (working day). SS below:-So, he got the allotment letter on 17th June, 2017 (Saturday). We have applied on the same day itself on Vidyalakshmi portal. On 19th June (Monday) morning we got the message from Bank of Baroda to visit the branch and on 21st June from Bank of India we got the message. But ICICI bank didnt respond to us.We went to Bank of Baroda on 20th where we all have accounts. (PSU Bank working style as usual..”kal aao….aaj audit chal raha hai”) One day wasted.Next day we went. They received the hard copy of Application from Vidyalakshmi. Then they need a guarantor. Then we arranged a guarantor who had account in the same branch. Then as usual they were asking this document that document. After 5 days i.e. on 26th June an officer came to our house and shop for inspection(During inspection they may ask stupid questions like “yeh MBA karke kya faayda hai…better do some other courses…bla bla bla)…Then after verifications on 30th June he called Dad and said that the Loans been sanctioned and need to submit some documents. So, on 7th July we recieved the message from VidyalakshmiSo, finally on 7th July the loan was sanctioned.Important notes:Documents needed :Income Certificate from District Mamaltdar or 3 years ITR (ITRs filed on same day is not accepted.) (Income certificate or ITR of your parents or guardians)Copy of House ownership, House (Aakarni patra),(take all the copies of documents relating to the house/immovable property)Rs.100 stamp paper - 08 nos.Allotment letter with fees breakup (both can be availed from the university for submitting the same at the bank)Other docs such as PAN, AADHAR, BANK STATEMENT, LIGHT BILL etcGuarantors ITR, Salary slip of 3 months (if employed) (The person other than the family should be the guarantor)PS:Though we went to the branch where we had accounts, but we personally dont know the people working there. My dads balance was something around Rs.6000/- & brothers was Rs.4000/- and guarantors was around 25000/-.So, personally we had a positive outcome from Vidyalakshmi.And I believe that anybody who applies through Vidyalakshmi will receive a positive outcome and please note the documents mentioned above. If you keep the documents ready, you may receive the loan within 15 days.THIS WAS MY FIRST ANSWER IN QUORA. SO KINDLY PARDON ME FOR THIS LONG ANSWER. MY INTENTION WAS TO INFORM YOU IN DETAIL REGARDING THE SAME.

ICT is a very good institution for research students so getting admission here is a golden opportunity for all. I'll tell you the whole procedure done by me this year.First of all, Check ICT the website www.ictmumbai.edu.in for notifications at admission news section specially in the month of April-may. In 2019 the last date was 31st may (for applications). You have to upload the scanned copies of Passport size photo, signature, aadhar card, 10th-12th marksheets, graduation marksheet of last semester (if you are at last semester then upload the previous semester marksheet), income certificate, cast certificate (if necessary) in the online form. The exam is all about multiple choice questions in which you have to select one correct option. We had our exam on 15th june which was totally based upon the basic knowledge till the bsc level. It was average level exam but you have to cover 50 questions in 60 minutes (which is a tricky part). Within one week they declared the first merit list & admission date on 25th june. The admission is totally based upon the merit and the number of seats (24 seats from this year).For hostels If you are from outside mumbai and need hostel, you have to fill separate form for hostels and you will know all procedure after that.Coming back to the point:Check website in the month of AprilFill the form correctlyBrush up your basicsTime management is importantBe positiveAll the best:)
