I wouldn’t think so. I would disclose the injury on the FAA Form 8500–8, discuss it with the AME so you’ve covered yourself. As long as the arm has full range of motion, it shouldn’t be an issue. I don’t think it would be a issue for the employer, as long as you possess a valid Medical Certification for the class of operation.

Having such a history will require answering the relevant question on the application for a medical certificate “yes” (question 18.m on the current 8500–8, about mental health issues, IIRC). And that will need additional documentation, discussions with an examiner, and almost certainty a neuropsychological evaluation.I’m not going to comment on the specifics of your case, no one could, but there are certainly plenty of people with medical certificates who took one of the ADHD drugs as kids. It’s not inherently disqualifying (it is if you’re taking them currently), but it does require additional documentation and testing.You should talk with an AME, and perhaps join AOPA and get in touch with their pilot services people (they can help people work through medical issues with the FAA). You can also apply for a medical certificate before you have your license (you’d be looking for a 1st class medical certificate). Again, I’d strongly suggest consulting someone with direct expertise in this area.One thing you must *not* do is lie on the application. The odds of the being discovered eventually are pretty good, and the results will be very bad. If the FAA decides you deliberately withheld this information, you might well never fly again - with *any* sort of ticket.
