The bellhop is carrying the suitcase and would be guilty of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. BUT…even though he was carrying the bags, the bellhop didn’t pack the bags, look in the suitcase or have any idea what was in the suitcase. He committed the crime of being in possession of cocaine, but he was just doing his job of carrying bags from the lobby to the guest room.
