You have a Hollywood style cueing systems that takes time to “lock” onto its target, to make the process more exciting. In real life, FCR has a potent motor that moves the radar antenna dish very quickly, missile seekers are also very sensitive and as long as you point it at the target within its seeker gimbal limits, they'll latch onto the target as quick as your phone camera recognizing a smile or a wink *click* and locked.Other functionalities like engine management, landing peripherals, external lights, communication / radio, navigation, RWR, countermeasures, backup systems, failures, datalink system, and many others are not in the game.
