Question: Texas sent me a probation violation arrest warrant letter in the mail from 13 years ago. I live in another state. What do I do? Do i contact them?It’s more likely that the letter is a scam. After all, how did Texas find you and why would they warn you about a probation violation from over a decade ago if they could just as easily forward the information to the police department/district attorney’s office in your current location to have them possibly arrest you?I would take the letter to an attorney and have that person become involved in the matter. Since your violation could mean that you could be arrested and have to potentially spend time in jail or prison, then contacting an attorney is the only sensible place to start. Do NOT contact anyone on the letter or call any number until you have spoken with an attorney and that person states that it would be a good idea to do so.

It means they don’t like you and they want you to fail.Okay, it CAN mean that, but it is an angle.in Colorado, a condition of probation or parole is that you notify your probation or parole officer of any contact with police.This means you tell them that you talked to the nice police officer when you were standing in line at a fast food joint.This especially means that you tell your parole/probation officer about the time the police stopped you, identified you, and likely ran your name through the computer.The police officer has already filed a response back to probation/parole telling them why they contacted you.Your job is to call your PO the second you can after the police man leaves to tell on yourself.If you don’t call, and the PO gets the “contact report” or checks to see if your name has been run by police….you are now a probation violator or parole violator.The police man doesn’t have to remind you of your probation/parole requirements and they may secretly hope you forget to tell your PO so you get in trouble.Passive aggressive? Maybe.Legal? Yes.Legit? In some cases, indeed.It is quite likely to happen if you give the police man “flak” about why he, “is even bothering you man.”

After probation based on the marks you get in various tests and assessments, you will be given promotion as deputy manager if u get qualified with higher score say 75%.
