There are many situations that make me ashamed .This is just one . Woman in nursing home eaten alive! How could nurrsing staff let this progress? what about her family? Everyone failed her. In the photos, her fingernails are long and blackened by the disease, and the parts of her skin that aren’t crusted are red and raw.Even more horrifying than the photos, however, is the fact that the nursing home staff knew about them and did nothing to stop it.According to the family’s lawyer, attorney Stephen Chance, the staff had been ordered not to attend to Zeni’s skin.“There was a conversation at this nursing home with a healthcare provider about being careful about touching Ms. Zeni’s hand for fear that it might fall off her body,” Chance said in an interview.The idea that the staff is responsible for Zeni’s death was echoed by the medical examiner who performed her autopsy.“This is one of the most horrendous things I’ve ever seen in my career as a forensic pathologist,” said Dr. Kris Sperry, former chief medical examiner for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. He believes that at the time of her death, over one million mites were living in Zen’s body and that, as a result, she likely would have died a most painful death.“Having seen what I’ve seen with Ms. Zeni, I think that is frankly a good characterization,” said Sperry. “I would seriously consider calling this a homicide by neglect.”According to documents obtained from the Georgia Department of Public Health, state officials had been notified of a scabies outbreak at the Shepherd Hills Nursing Home in 2013, and in 2015, the same year Zeni died. The report claims that at least 35 residents and staff were exposed to scabies. However, no inspection was ever made. As for those arguing the point she died from septicema . While it's an official.cause. She very much was eaten alive slowly and painfully. This is what parasites do they “feed “ and multiply in their host. Different species of mammals have. Very different parasitic types of mites ..dogs, cats, birds etc. Each parasite is specific in its target host. It doesn't not generally jump species occasionally they do.I had a dog suffering from mites..it was hell for him..Eventually he was cured ..

Click on an image to unblur it.I know that the facts are even worse as you find the staff of such nursing homes account for about another 10% to 15% of the cases so this number is something in the area of 55%.Having worked in nursing home and been night RN manager, I have a very keen understanding of how it happened. I do think that the genuine lack of concern by management above the care staff for health of the patients and or the workers is being well exposed by this situation.I sadly report to you that this situation was made much worse by several governors of those famous “Blue States” who spent so much time fussing at President Trump while they dumped COVID-19 patients into nursing homes. Even if the patients were free of disease themselves their effects had the virus in them. This was not good. It was the equivalent of dropping a bomb in these nursing homes.I have NO sympathy with people who excuse this. There are some things you do not do. Dropping infection into a nursing home is just a NO NO! It was first degree murder.Just for the record I am a guy who in just over 1 month I took a nursing home that the state was going to close to fully passing inspections because I am strong on a clean nursing home. Facing an epidemic you police things up. I am the guy who stopped epidemic in Nursing Home. Yes (H1N1)! I know what I am doing.This is also the answer for the people who want to say I don’t know what SARS-CoV2 is doing. I have faced worse than this epidemic. I know how to fight.When I tell people the means of transfer is Fecal / Oral I know! I am not just talking. When I tell people I could pretty fast stop this epidemic, I would use very good methods.I told people on Quora that I could probably go into a COVID-19 unit and stop almost all of it dead cold. I got my proof today from a friend who did what I said for a guy who had COVID-19. My methods got him well without any drugs. It got him well from nearly dying to ok in 4 days. Let me give you an example.Several years ago there were some nursing homes in the St. Louis area that were simply elderly warehouses. These homes operated on such short staffing that when the state was coming in to inspect (the nursing homes had deals with the local motels to make sure they got notified whenever the state booked rooms) the nursing homes would run their bus down to the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter and recruit 10 “nurses aides” to work for day wages pretty much doing nothing but fulfilling the number of bodies requirement.My client came to me and said they wanted to kick her grandmother out of the nursing home because she was insisting on her grandmother being bathed every two days. The home tried to evict her. She didn’t have money to pay $550 per hour for legal work, but I assisted because it was the right thing to do. We got an injunction, and the next day the nursing home called and told her that her grandmother had dreamed she had “fallen out of bed.” Must have been one hell of a dream, because she had three crushed vertebrae, two broken ribs, and a shoe-shaped bruise in the middle of her back.After everything was said and done we recovered millions for numerous victims of this serial patient abuse (one woman was left in her urine for hours, and was found with ants crawling in and out of her eyes, ears, nose, mouth and private parts). The nursing home chain and its CEO and CFO were indicted in federal court on Medicare Fraud charges, and the CEO went to jail for one year for failing to report patient abuse (a man beaten to death with a wheelchair leg). The county judge who tried the CEO on the failure to report charges said he had never seen a jury so mad before, and if they could have given him more than one year in jail, they would have. As it was, the judge made him serve 364 of the 365 days.Sometimes doing the right thing turns out to be in your best interest as a lawyer. I still get phone calls from nursing home clients. And if I die tomorrow I can face the Lord with knowledge that at least one thing I did on earth made life so much better for one set of patients.
