PDF Editor FAQ

What is the best way to beat the bangalore traffic and still stay calm at the end of the route?

You can do what I do. But it is a very specific case. It may be applicable to beat the traffic while commuting to and from office. If you stay anywhere close to Majestic/Bangalore Cantonment/Bangalore East and you work in ITPL / Marathahalli area, then this works for you. Others can do a little bit of research and maybe tweak what is written below to your convenience. Or you can ride to one of these places, park your vehicle and carry on from there by this method.Take the Train.No. Not the Metro. I mean the Indian Railways train. You can buy a monthly pass for around Rs 300. This is the cost to travel in any train ( Passenger or Express) between Majestic and Whitefield, how many ever times in a month. You can buy 3/6/12 months pass also. There are trains leaving Majestic at7:00 AM (Marrikuppam Express), you reach KR Puram by 7:30 AM.8:00 AM (Chennai Express), you reach KR Puram by 8:25 AM.9:00 AM (Sanghamitra Express), you reach KR Puram by 9:25 AM.9:20 AM (Arakkonam Express), you reach KR Puram by 9:45 AM.All of them stop at Cantonment also. There are plenty of buses to Marathahalli from KR Puram (more than one every minute). Buses to ITPL side is almost one every 5 minutes. After work you can also return back by the same route. You can catch the following trains from KR Puram/Whitefield:6:05 PM (Arakkonam Express); this specific train also stops at "MAHADEVPURA" ( at 6:00 PM) for about 3 minutes. Many people get on from there. Just walk opposite from the HP office and you will find the station. It stops at KR Puram, Byappanahalli, Bangalore East, Bangalore Cantt & Majestic.7:10 PM (Chennai Express)7:35 PM (Sanghamitra Express)You can reach majestic in less than half an hour. There are other trains too. Check the link provided at the bottom.I get down at KR Puram. You can check the website for White Field also.If you want you can park your bikes at Majestic/Bangalore Cantt station. There are parking lots for a nominal fee.Pros:99% of the time the trains are on time. You almost always get a seat. Even if you don't get a seat, it hardly takes 10-20 minutes (depending on which station you board from) to reach your destination.Very comfortable journey. You can read the newspaper/books, listen to music, work on your laptops etc.No Traffic Jams!!!Cheapest mode of transport.BMTC monthly bus pass will cost you 3 times your train ticket. And we all know how expensive petrol is.No Pollution.Reaching your destination in less than half an hour which by any other method of traveling would take at least 1 hour. You beat the Tin Factory Traffic Jam.Cons:If you stay far from the stations, you might end up taking two buses and one train to reach your office. Trust me, even though it sounds hectic, it will be a much better journey. You can save overall about 0.5-1 hour. The evening trains are a bit crowded (especially the 6:00 PM train). Even then you can get a seat fast. You might meet eunuchs on your morning sanghamitra train. But there are ways to avoid paying them! :PI have tried both bus and train.Morning I save almost 1 hour if not more. Evenings without doubt I save almost 1.5 hours.Do let me know if you have any doubts or if I wasn't clear about something.Source:Bangalore City/SBC to Krishnarajapuram/KJM - 27 Trains - India Rail Info - A Busy Junction for Travellers & Rail Enthusiasts

Bus Pass, seriously, where LNMIIT is going?

Well, if you are realizing this thing now, you are just plain dumb.Administration has been fucking us since y10 passed. This bus issue and fee hike is NOTHING compared to NET BAN from 1-6.Director says even IITs have this rule, what our honorable director doesn't understand is they don't have IN-TIME thus can use lab facility any time.Of course we can take permission and use that facility in our college too, we just have to get our application signed by 11-12 sadistic bastards, which cannot be worth even for a job interview. But what can be done, with a dictator, shitty administration, tired and messed up faculty, who is there to support us. Notice I didn't mention gymkhana here, because in my opinion they are not even worth mentioning or going to if we face a problem. They are good at one thing : Listening to justifications provided by administration and conveying them to us.VOILA, good job Mr. President, precisely why we selected you.Solution : Nothing can be done about this. Dictator is a professional. He had been fucking colleges well before LNMIIT. He does everything by rules, has good relationship with Bhatnagar (who BTW is another asshole). Best you can do is improve your skill set with the limited resources college provides, apply off campus and get placed in a decent company, and curse every dickhead for the rest of your life.Regarding strike : with half of the crowd being maggu or a pussy (just see one of the answers and you will know what I am talking about, one line to him :YOU CANT LICK ASS ANONYMOUSLY) it is literally not possible. The fact that I am writing this answer as anonymous might put me in that category. But that is how system works.

What was it like to grow up in India in the 1990s?

Perfect question for me, i always compare the things i had experienced during my childhood and children now-a-days.Apple, Blackberry were just a fruit names.Used to play games in hand video games[black n white] and keyboard tv-video games [Mario, Roadrash, Conta were the real games by then!]Used to go straight to playground after returning to home after school [hide n seek had a bitter experience on me, i took the game too seriously to hide in a thick bush with red ants, its was very bad experience :/]Having Geometry box with any kid was richie richie feel. [i had a stencil for India map, it made me famous in my class :P]Going to school on Bicycle was such a big thing! The transition from bullocks to plane was much higher in 90'sHaving a bsnl landline was such a luxury in 90's [used to go to neighbors home to receive a call] and the coin box facility [such a lovely thing i miss that :D]Used to buy chocolates an bubblegum just for the Tattoo collection and pokemon cards :DJeans were just arrived then, and now its a compulsory in anyone's wardrobe.Internet had just arrived then, Dad had a training class at office [Steps to send a mail, to search anything on search engines] [Dad used to explain me, i even written down, how to send a mail in small note :P] [Used to Dad's office just to open Paint application in PC and color the art :P]The most entertaining thing in the evening were power cut's, all the kids used to play games in my colony.Used to roam to one end of the city to other end with just Rs.10 [One day bus pass]Used to get up early even on weekends just to see Shakthiman, Jungle book, Pokemon, Dexter, Power puff girls, fantastic 4.Used to listen songs through tape cassettes [Have a lovely collection even now, then came the Floppy disks, then CD, then DVD, Blue-ray, and pen-drives!]Used to hire Dvd players for weekends to watch movies during my 18's.[later Dad though its better to buy the Dvd player seeing the frequency we used to hire the new movie CD's :P] [Then immediately the phase changed to pen drive that we regretted buying the DVD player :D]That radium ball, had many memories with it, lovely days :')Kids in this generation, won't get to experience it.
