Could we make the asteroids Vesta and Pallas round again?

Why should we care if they are spherical? If we ever actually colonize the asteroids, we might mine these bodies for materials to create habitats, and perhaps create living space within the mining tunnels. We might build massive structures on the surface, and make them any shape we want. The largest asteroids are about 400 km, 500 km, and 900 km in diameter, so roughly 3000 km around the Equator of Ceres. That project should keep us busy for quite some time! That's roughly how far it is from San Francisco to Saint Louis, or Moscow to Barcelona! We are going to need lots of solar mirrors to light and warm up the surface, and to harvest the energy we will need to start hollowing out the planetoid. Wouldn't be much gravity, only .0275g, not even 3% of Earths.Might be simpler to collect and mine smaller asteroids and other space junk in the belt first, and build habitats we can spin up for a little more simulated gravity. Instead of working on a scale of hundreds of km, 2 to 5 km would be more manageable. Over time, these habitats could be brought into the Goldilocks's zone, or even given elongated orbits providing cheap transport in and out system. We will need to go out system to get water ice anyway, and bring it back in system to provide life giving water, Oxygen and Hydrogen, which all the in system habitats will need, both for life, and perhaps fuel/reaction mass. While we might ionize most any mass, and eject it at high speed to move our habitats. These high speed heavy ions might cause problems for other travellers, so likely Hydrogen will be the fuel/reaction mass of choice. Either as Hydroxygen rockets or ion rocket reaction mass.Would we then have proton pollution in the inner system? Probably not a problem. The solar wind, and photon pressure will push the protons back out system eventually. So, maybe we might eventually colonize the larger Asteroids. Will they be spherical? That's certainly the strongest shape. But maybe they will look like giant Coke bottles, with flashing advertisements flowing across the surface. Who knows? Several hundred years from now?Could people in the early 1800's have imagined our world of today? The USS Pennsylvania commissioned in 1837, the largest sailing ship the US Navy ever launched, was 64 meters 3,105 tons. The USS Theodore Roosevelt is 332 meters long and displaces 104,600 long tons. 33x the displacement of the earlier ship.5km. long habitats, 2km in diameter, are not beyond consideration 200 years from now.A giant solar powered laser fusing asteroidal stone and dust much like a giant 3d printer today, might create some interesting structures.I could go on for many pages, but really have to post, and do some useful work.
