Before the existence of computers, before the Internet, we used pencils and notebooks to write, and we used typewriters.While using a typewriter was not considered necessary I believed that the ability to quickly bang out a perfectly legible document on one would be pretty rad.So I took lessons.I learned how to type by resting all my fingers on the keys and writing page after page of exercises like ffff jjjj or aaaa qqqq or llll mmmm.I learned to type sentences that contained every letter such as pack my box with five dozen jugs of liquid veneer.I had no way of knowing that some day far into the future I would spend most of the day typing on a not yet invented device currently known as keyboard.Today I type like a beast. I use all my fingers.I can type blindfolded.My fingers can type one document while I glance at another.I guess that in some worlds all this is super geeky but in my world (that I alone inhabit) it's insanely cool.The best thing you can do today is identify an unlikely skill that intrigues you and learn as much about it as you can.It doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense.It doesn't matter if everyone thinks it's boring.It doesn't matter if all evidence points to the fact you will probably never put it to good use.Because at worst learning more about anything that interests you is a wonderful way to go through life.And at best you might become dexterous at a skill that will prove indispensable to your future self.

Never feel bad if someone rejects you or ignores you. People usually reject and ignore expensive things because they can't afford it.So, here is my story. Everyone has that one point in life, where you lose all your confidence and you feel very lonely and you want to share everything with someone but never find that someone.I was depressed and then I became stubborn. I'd this "if you want to talk. Great, let's talk for hours. If you don't want to talk. Fine, as if I care" attitude.I was the nicest rude person you could ever meet.I had plenty of friends in life. My Facebook friend's list had touched 1000. But then I realized everyone around me aren't true friends. I'd never thought life could change so much.A person who cared a lot had changed into a person who doesn't give a sh*t about anything in life​I'd this attitude.Then one fine day, I just realized something.Not everything is supposed to become beautiful and long lasting. When things go wrong and when people turn against you and walk away without any reason, it has nothing to do with you. It is because they have already served their purpose in your life, they'll only hinder you in your next level. Not everyone is going to stay forever in your life. So, thank them for what they have given you, let them go and keep moving. Greater things are yet to come.Now, I know everything in life happens for a reason. I try to help everyone around me and care about them. I help them without any strings attached. I help because I know what it feels like without getting help. I know how it feels like to speak and not be heard. I know the value of everything in life. Everything surely happens for a reason. You might not realize it today, but you'll surely understand it one day. Just wait for that day and keep moving.

My daughter got a fidget spinner from my wife and me a week ago. If you don't know what it is here is a picture:This the latest craze among young kids now here in the US.After most of her friends had one, we ordered one for my daughter and she loves it. Two days ago she dropped it by accident and one of those little metal round inner parts got loose.Still she took it to school and played with it but some other kids gave her a hard time saying it was not the real fidget spinner because that metal thing should never got loose in the first place.I just figured this out yesterday morning when I took my daughter to school. In the car she asked me sadly if there was a way to figure out if this spinner was the real fidget spinner. I explained her how this toy was never patented by its inventor and so different manufacturers can make it now. All of them are the real fidget spinners and all of them look and work the same way.Of course the explanation was not enough and she kept trying to push that little metal circle back into its place. She said sadly maybe I can fix it later with a hammer.I stopped at a red light and grabbed a coin and with it I managed to force this metal piece back in its hole. It popped back nicely and again the spinner was better than ever. Plus now all of a sudden it was the “real” spinner again for my daughter.She was all smiles afterwards.Until I said bye to her at the school’s gate, she just could not stop smiling. I assume her happiness did not stop at the school gate and she was all smiles the whole day in the school.I also had a fantastic day yesterday as I had an unexplainable happiness and satisfaction.To see my kids happy is priceless to me and the single most important thing in my life.Nothing even comes close to it.
