I think Kunal Kamra made an impulsive decision which, in the end, helped him a lot. This one action is likely to not only give Kunal views and publicity, but is also likely to make him richer.Guess who had the last laugh?When this incident surfaced, I actually disagreed with Kunal Kamra, because this isn’t the best way to deal with political differences. I also felt that Arnab, in fact, acted in a mature way. I wondered how this man who shouts all the time had demonstrated quite a mature demeanour by not reacting to this publicity stunt of Kunal. Definitely, ignoring Kunal Kamra was the best move.But then… they did not ignore him.They turned around and gave him the upper ground.How stupid would you have to be to give him more attention and more limelight? This is so laughable that I can’t even begin to wrap my heads around the stupidity of Arnab sympathisers.The six month ban costs him nothing. On the contrary, you just handed him more views. Do you realise that? MORE VIEWS! Don’t you know that in his line of business, views are everything. And he just got handed more views. I am pretty sure he’s gleeful and excited right now.And also, he’s not an idiot. If I was given that limelight, I’d also make sure that I cash in on it to the fullest. So, obviously, he’s not letting this go. He has now sent a legal notice to Indigo and demanded ₹25 lakhs. No matter who wins or loses, the Airline definitely signed up for a heavy litigation affair.Indigo could have let this go. Instead, they chose to ban him for six months, that too without even consulting the pilot of the flight concerned. Well, they definitely have their priorities right. I am sure they’d not worry about spending money on litigation and defending their action and their hypocrisy.I thought Arnab was mature. But he was, in fact, much worse than that. I am guessing his ego couldn’t let him walk away without “punishing” him. I just want to make sure that he knows that instead of getting Kunal punished, he in fact gave him the exact thing that he needed. What a twat!Honestly, I just have one thing to say, both Kunal and Arnab need to keep their emotions in check, or else they’d keep getting into unnecessary battles. But at least this one is currently in favour of Kunal.Kunal has nothing to lose in this battle, and everything to win.Arnab just got tricked.

You just had a long day at work and are walking back home, when suddenly you come across a ₹ 10 note on the ground.You then start to wonder as to what you should do.‘Should I take the note and donate it to the temple? All mass leaders, from Mahatma Gandhi to Indira Gandhi or Jawaharlal Nehru to Narendra Modi have some element of over-rating by their followers and admirers, which in facts acts as one of the building blocks in their becoming leaders of such stature, and Annadurai was no exception to this rule. Like every other popular,mass leader, he too could have been a bit over rated. Nostalgia,hind sight and survival bias also lead to some overrating of the popularity of such prominent people.Even though his tenure as the chief minister of Madras state (in fact it was he, who changed the name of the state from Madras to Tamilnadu. Incidentally this was to be Tamilnad initially, and reportedly it was Rajaji who suggested the addition of the letter "u" in the end to make it read it the way it does now)his contribution to and influence on the Tamil psyche and politics was immense for over two decades. Anna evolved continuously as a person, and kept maturing as a politician. From a fiery speaker spewing venom, he went on to become a great orator who held the Indian parliament spell bound with his witty and sage arguments later on. He gave up the divisive politics demanding a separate Dravida Nadu, and seamlessly integrated with the mainstream politics during his later years. His biggest assets were his civility and flexibility, which enabled him to win over many friends, and wriggle out of many tight spots., and these were the qualities which gained him many followers even from people who did not subscribe to his political views, and endeared him to people from all walks of life.The following episode will show the degree and extent of his sagacity and statesmanship before the fate cruelly cut short his life.Anna, as the face and front line leader of the opposition Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) was in the forefront of many agitations against the Congress Government in Tamilnadu during the early to mid 1960s. F.V.Arul, one of the most upright but very strict IPS officers of the state had to deal somewhat harshly with Anna on many such occasions, in discharge of his duties to maintain law and order, but the DMK cadres were naturally miffed with him for his actions against their leader.So, when the DMK scored a landslide victory in the Assembly elections in Tamilnadu in 1967, decimating the Congress the same way as AAP had now done in Delhi, Anna became the Chief Minister of the state. When Anna was coming to the secretariat on the first day of his assuming office, Arul, among other high ranking Government officials, was present at the gate and as per official protocol,saluted Anna when he arrived. At this, the huge crowd of party workers who had gathered there went berserk and shouted insults at Arul.But Anna,instead of feeling vindicated, became furious and chided his followers. He told them : "Look, Mr. Arul is a responsible IPS officer. In a democracy, any body can contest the elections and become a minister. But I can not complete IPS and become a police officer like him.
