Let me first preface this with, i have not watched Daredevil the film series, and my knowledge of Daredevil was that he was a blind lawyer that has superhuman senses other than his eyes obviously. After consulting the wiki, and that i found this matchup is similar in a way with Daredevil main antagonist. I will try to answer this.So first in Overwatch corner we have Roadhog or Mako Ruthledge.“I’m not fat, just big boned”A 48 years old man, weighing in around 250kg, and 2,2 meters tall.His main weapons are a Chain Hook and a Scrap Gun.His main tactic of fighting is pulling said enemy with his hook, pull them up close. While they are dazed he shoot his Scrap Gun to their face.He also can take a punishment, he once survived a building explosions.with nothing but some burnt hair.And if he does took damage, he can just pop one of his gas canister to replenish his health.Ingame he has tangled with some superhuman characters such as Soldier 76 (basically if Punisher he had the super soldier serum), Genji the cyborg ninja, and managed to catch them with his hook. So his speed is not to be trifled with.On the TV-show corner we have Daredevil or Matt Murdock.“I am blind, i use my ears to see,i go out patrolling at night i should call myself Batman”A 30ish year old man, weighing in 90kg and 1.8m tall.His preferred weaponry is his walking stick. I assure you this is no regular walking stick. It can be a baton, a nun chucks, small “axe” among other things.He can break regular human bones with ease. Fast enough to dodge a bullet from Punisher.Now, i said above that this matchup is similar in a sense that Roadhog is basically built like Kingpin/Wilson Fisk (minus the belly fat). However Roadhog survived a building size explosion without flinching, i doubt Daredevil attacks will affect him in anyway shape or form. Not to mention Roadhog still has his Scrap Gun that has a “random” spread so it is not easily predicted, and he still has his canister to get healthier in the middle of the fight. While Daredevil needs to be more lethal and dish out more attacks, Roadhog only need 1 hit, and he wins.So the winner is Roadhog.

Prior to my knee replacement I tried everything reasonable….injections, weight loss (I wasn't that much overweight but lost a few pounds anyway), physical therapy and a brace. Nothing helped. I also looked into a partial knee replacement procedure called Mako but wasn't a candidate. After consulting three orthopedic surgeons who all concluded that it was crutches, a wheelchair or a replacement, I decided to opt for a new knee (TKR). The surgery was a breeze. I experienced very little pain in the days following the procedure except for the physical therapy. The PT sessions were a little rough but not enough so that I dreaded them. I eventually bought a cheap stationary bike and a large rubber stretch band. Using those items and the steps at home, I did my own exercises not needing a physical therapist. I am now totally pain free, am enjoying life, and just returned form a river cruise involving walking excursions. I now have an almost imperceptible thin pink line on my knee as the surgeon used glue instead of stitches. And under that is a brand new totally pain free artificial knee which sets off every alarm I get near at the airport. I understand the apprehension with the surgery but I could not be happier with my decision to finally replace my worn out debilitating knee.

My idea centers around a different aspect of the avatar. We all know by now that there are the light and dark spirits Raava & Vaatu. The Yin and Yang, of Life & Anti-Life, Chaos & Order. You get it.We also know about how an avatar becomes fully realized upon mastering of the elements and the avatar state. So, What if Vaatu wasn’t intended to be an evil spirit? Instead, the next avatar wants to be more than just another fully realized avatar, he wants to be the FIRST FULLY MASTERED AVATAR.You know how Korra was able to find the light inside Vaatu to find Raava? the Next Avatar would want to find the darkness within the light, awakening Vaatu inside him. Combining the Spirits of Raava and Vaatu together, before Wan accidentally separated them.The Stance to activate the avatar state would change, slightly, to one eye being light and the other being dark.A FULLY MASTERED AVATAR, would be able to combine both spirits on their journey together. this new Avatar Spirit would be called RaaVaatu. Once this technique has been done it cannot be undone. So the theme for the next avatar series would be about Chaos & Order.(Side Note 1: When it becomes time for Raava to leave this avatar and continue on in the cycle, Vaatu would not be born into the next following avatar)(Side Note 2: Combining Raava and Vaatu resets the avatar connection to the past lives as well.)A FULLY MASTERED AVATAR WOULD BE ABLE TO:Control all of the elements and sub elementsBlood bend at will, without the use of a full moon (But this quickly becomes something the avatar doesn’t want to use on anyone)Aethyr/Energy bend (Of course)learn other uses of the elements in the new worldThe Journey over the course of the series would have the avatar learning the sub elements (over the elements themselves) in an era of which relations have grown accustomed to not rely on benders anymore.Story: The era of Peace between Benders and Non, no longer exists. There has been segregation in the lands. If you are a bender of any element you have been marked and separated (depending on the culture). Mixed bending families have been hit the hardest. Parents have been separated from children; siblings separated from each other; and Married Couples (Benders & Non) are forcibly separated.The Red Lotus achieved their goal. Political leaders are being dragged into another war, Fire nation included, if they don’t denounce their bending citizens. (Some don’t want to, others have)The Red Lotus may have started and engineered this new era, but is now at war with the White Lotus, who has tried to stop them at every turn.This avatar has to find a way to stop the segregation and fear, working with the white lotus, and try to re-introduce integration, something that the Air Nomads have been doing. As they’re the only culture that’s refusing to be apart of the new segregated world.New Team Avatar:Starla (Star for short)*: a marked Firebender, banished from the Fire Nation. Wants to return home to her family someday, and partners with the avatar in hope of stopping the segregation and fear.Dakarai (Pronounced Dak-ar-y): A non-bender from the Earth States, a very skilled swordsman, and tactician. He found Sokka’s space sword as a boy, and that inspired him to train to know how to use it. He’s a traveler, and intends to find the swords owner to return it. (Dakarai is the son of the late swords-master that Sokka trained with.)Talia: A very talented waterbender, with no bending mark, but always wanted to travel the world. She lives in fear of no contact because of her father, who doesn’t want to lose Talia the same way his wife was.Tariq, Talia’s father, reluctantly allows Talia to travel with the avatar because he believes the avatar can protect her more than he can.Talia wants to see her mother again, and makes a promise to her father to help end the segregation that separates them.* Starla is intended to be the love interest to the new avatar.New Villains:Demakos: The new Red Lotus leader, who engineered the world into its new chaos state. He was Zaheer’s protege. Husband to Khionne, and father of Azira and Azara.Khionne: Wife of Demakos, and mother to Azira and Azara.Azara: one of two twin girls of Demakos, who make trouble for team avatar on a daily basis. Azara hides the fact that she is an earthbender.When this is discovered, the girls (and their mother) switch their loyalties to stopping Demakos.Azira: one of two twin girls of Demakos, who make trouble for team avatar on a daily basisTitus: Demakos’ right hand, and most trusted general. The girls treat Titus like a dog more than a general. He would love to put the girls in their place, but bides his time.He is the one that threatens & blackmails Azara when he learns her secret.Character Involvement:Tenzin is ready to retire and step down, announcing Jinora as his replacement.Jinora considers her father, aunt, and uncle to be a “council of elders,” which she consults a little too much at first.Jinora and Kai have been dating and he’s nervous about what comes next (listening to Bolin hasn’t helped)Jinora struggles between her duties with her family. Especially with her own siblings.Ikki, Meelo, & Rohan don’t understand why Jinora has to separate family time from her duties.Meelo loves having a younger brother and can convince Rohan to do almost everything with him. (whether he wants to or not. Meelo basically goats Rohan into joining his antics)Bolin and Opal marry, but have a hard time deciding where to settle down.Mako has become the next Chief of Police, and is under heat because of the segregation of his own officers.Lin Beifong tries to help Mako as much as she can.Asami has thrown herself into the company and not over the loss of her partner.Asami has separated herself from her friends as she doesn’t think being around them would help.Varrick has partnered with Asami full time, merging their two companies into one: Future Global Industries. Of which he wants his son to inherit, with Asami’s annoyance.Asami is passive aggressive about this, but thinks VJ can do a good job nonetheless, because he’s shown interest and initiative in the business.Varrick and Zhu Li have twins, one boy and girl, both non-benders.Varrick Jr (VJ for short) & EloraVarrick has been a better person, and husband, to Zhu Li. He loves both his kids, although he tends to favor VJ a little more.Elora is basically her mother, who helps VJ, and gets him out of any trouble, putting VJ first, and tends to go forgotten by VJ.At one point, VJ takes responsibility for this and treats Elora better.Once this happens though, Elora begins to grow into her own skin. Now that she doesn’t have to worry about her brother, Elora begins to start her own character development.Azula and Kuvira get a redemption story arc, helping the new team avatar.Azula gets closure with her former friends by being reunited with Tai Lee and Mai who have been recruited.The Warriors of Kyoshi also help the new team avatar, which Suki fills in the gaps of her relationship with Sokka.
