Writing this answer filled me with nostalgia.Registration Day (July 12, 2016):Orientation (19 July, 2016):We are all sitting in Dogra Hall, the large auditorium of IIT Delhi. We are looking at the instructions on the board. My father is sitting in my left.On the Screen, there is a message written in large font:“Welcome to IIT Delhi”Then we were allotted hostels. My hostel was the newest building and most clean hostel: Girnar Hostel(This is a pic captured in 2018).We went inside the hostel.The corridor:Badminton Court:Way to First Lecture:Now I will show you my way to the first lecture in IIT Delhi from my hostel. I’ll show you as it comes in my way.The schedule of classes:2. Way through the Jungle: Sadly this jungle is now cut.3. IIT Delhi Main Road: This is the major 2Km road which runs through the campus.4. Many human beings love eating fish in different forms.However, men live on land while fish live inside the water.Men want to have the fish but they can’t go inside water and catch fish. So they use fishing net with a bait to catch the fish.They conceal a hook inside the bait and offer it to fish.When fish see the worm, their mouth start salivating and they can’t resist the temptation of eating the bait.They have no knowledge that there is a hook that is hidden inside the bait.It is due to lack of knowledge, fish are easily caught and eaten by men.If the fish would have the right knowledge, they would have never gone for the bait and lived their lives happily.The source of goodness in this world is ‘right knowledge’.A man without knowledge is no different than any animal.An ignorant person is driven by his natural instinct as he can’t visualize the consequence of his actions.Such a person can be easily fooled by smart people in the world using the right bait.It is only when you have the right knowledge, you can become good.A man with the right knowledge can’t be an evil man and an ignorant man can never be a good man.If you wish to be a good man, acquire the right knowledge and learn the skills to use the knowledge in the right way.A man who uses the knowledge in the right way to achieve the right results is called a wise man.And a wise man and a good man are synonymous of each other.Source of pictures: Google Images
