I actually don’t think they’re doing it for the money. I think they’re doing it for the legacy of the band. They want to keep performing the music - for their own personal satisfaction and also to make sure younger generations are aware of and familiar with it. Roger once said something to the effect of “we loved Freddie, but he’s dead and we’re still alive.” I can kind of understand it. Freddie died and John chose to retire. Freddie’s death was a good reason for John to retire, but honestly I think he wanted to retire before Freddie died and didn’t know exactly how to do it. Brian and Roger have different personalities from John and wanted to continue performing while John got to a point where he was waiting for his public life to end.Should Brian and Roger have started from scratch after they spent 20 plus years of their lives building up their band and its name? I don’t believe so. I think they fully realize that Queen will never fully be Queen without Freddie and John. And I don’t think their intention was to try to “re-form” Queen with different members because they know that is impossible. The purpose is to perform the music live, which is something they enjoy and will always enjoy as long as they can do it. In order to do it, they need help - a lead singer, a bassist, and keyboard backup. So I don’t see. anything wrong with what they’re doing.I don’t think John begrudges their desire to keep going anymore than they begrudge his desire to stop. And as crazy as it sounds, I think Freddie felt he was letting everyone (the band and the fans) down by dying, and wished he didn’t have to. Therefore, I think he would be delighted that the music lives on in all its forms. I think he would cheer on Brian and Roger’s efforts and tell them to go for it. It would be fairly bizarre if they were out there performing Queen songs under a name that wasn’t Queen. They are 1/2 of Queen after all. And had they not agreed to let Freddie join them back in 1970, there would have been no Queen. I think it’s good that they use the + sign which to me indicates their understanding that nobody outside the four original members can claim the name.Brian and Roger were together in the very beginning; it seems fitting they should be together in the end.

The same crowd which was chanting his name now started demanding him to retire. He was stealing the spot of a youngster in the team, they said.News channels started airing shows on his retirement. Every website published articles on the same. I am following politics right from the year 1992 and I used to watch the political rallies of all political leaders whenever I had a chance to view them. I have never seen a politician who proudly say to world about the great traditions of our country and he does that on international platforms also without fearing about losing votes.Not only that,he is the only politician who says that students,children must give respect to parents,teachers and elders and advises them to follow a strict code of ethics .He too speaks politics and that is inevitable since he is a politician but above that he is an inspirational personality with his extraordinary oratorical skills. His working style and the energy levels have many times astonished me since I could not find how he is deriving that much of energy in such an age !!Modiji is indeed a great gift for modern India and he must rule our country for at-least two more terms to make this Great Nation,great again.
