They, like Harry and William, are adults. All four see that their parents are finally truly happy. And, as adults, they can appreciate that.Charles also gets along quite well with his step-grandchildren. Their parents keep them out of the limelight, as well. Again, not surprising considering how the sewer press and its gullible readers treat people.According to the Duchess of Cornwall: “he enjoy[s] a close relationship with her grandchildren. “He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know making funny noises and laughing and my grandchildren adore him, absolutely adore him,” she said. “He reads Harry Potter and can do all the different voices and I think children really appreciate that.”

Think planes, trains, and automobiles. And boats.The couple lived in a major American city but decided to have their wedding on a hard-to-get-to Caribbean island. The guests had to fly 4+ hours to one Caribbean island, then take a bus, then a boat to the destination island because that island was too small to have an airstrip. We left our house around 6am and didn’t arrive at the final destination until about 12 hours later.We had to pay for our own cabs to the hotel — I mean, every single person was coming from the US and onto the same boat dock on the island, so why didn’t they at least have a shuttle to take us to the hotel? (Same when we went home a couple of days later — we had to pay for all transportation.)Of course, we had to pay for our hotel rooms. And most meals. This was peak travel season, by the way, so prices were very jacked up.It was sad that so many family members couldn’t make the wedding. It was right before Christmas, so (1) kids were in school, and parents didn’t want to pull them out for a destination wedding, (2) families couldn’t afford to spend so much right before a holiday, (3) the old people who did attend were highly uncomfortable with all the traveling — seasickness was just one issue, (4) it was like a mandatory vacation for the guests. I would never have chosen to vacation at that spot because it was highly inconvenient and extremely expensive.I’ve had the misfortune to be invited to other destination weddings, but this one took the cake. It was as though they chose the most expensive and least accessible option they could think of. Very unreasonable to ask your guests to travel so far and spend so much, just so the couple could be “different.” Thus far, the difference between this and every other wedding I’ve attended is that I still get mad when I think about this one.

Oh, so very many things we could discuss here. Hundreds. But for me, what stands out is when he was invited to the Boy Scout Jamboree in 2017 and told a crowd of 40,000 teen-and-under Scouts the story of a rich guy who lost all his money and then appeared at a party, which was “sad” because “the hottest people in New York were at this party.” He claimed at the beginning of the speech he was not going to talk about politics, then bragged endlessly about winning the election nearly a year earlier and that it was a “tribute” to them and “millions” of others who voted. (Except these kids were not old enough to vote.) He also promised, during this event that took place in July, that they would be “saying Merry Christmas again.” He disparaged the press, jokingly claimed he would fire the Health & Human Services director, who was standing right next to him, and bragged about the economy. (Important to children, apparently.)The Boy Scout FB page BLEW UP shortly afterwards, with thousands of parents expressing anger and disgust that Trump had been invited to speak to children and threatening to pull their kids from the Boy Scouts.
